The Bachelor of Science in Computing and Information Technology at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) focuses on integration and versatility, preparing students to work with people and information systems. The program requires 126 credits to be completed, and students have the opportunity to choose a concentration. The four concentrations are database applications, enterprise administration, networking and communications, and web development.

As Rochester Institute of Technology is a liberal arts college, students will be taking general education courses alongside major courses, giving them a well-rounded approach to their major (instead of getting tunnel vision for math and computer science). Another means to branch out for students getting their bachelor’s in computing and IT is through RIT’s campuses in Croatia. RIT students studying in New York can take a semester abroad, continuing their course of study while learning about the Croatian culture. In their fourth year, students engage in a senior development project, for which they will work alongside other students in New York and Croatia.
