"Alabama State University is a great place for opportunity. The Theatre Arts Department is a great place for any artist to advance their craft. Being an almnus of the university, I've connected to many opportunities and traveled for the betterment of my career as an actor."

"It is a great school, but has too many problems for me to actually recommend anyone attend unless they offer you a full ride. In my four years, I've had three different Presidents of the school and two different Deans of my College. The administrative staff never can give you a straight answer. They will send you all over campus just end up back to them and then they might give you the answer you're looking for. Most times they are not even in their offices when they schedule says they're suppose to be."

"I would definitely recommend the Master's of Accountancy program at Alabama State University. All of the professors have the knowledge and the experience needed to successfully guide you through the program. The school is a HBCU and you are able to have a smaller student to teacher ratio, which can lead to a more productive learning environment from my experience. The program is only a year and a half and the classes are set to accommodate full-time working students. The courses are an extensive extension to the courses taken in the undergrad accountancy program. The staff outside of the professors are always available to assist you in any way that they can. This was an overall great experience for me and I was able to obtain a higher paying position once I received my Master's of Accountancy degree."

"This degree program is, I think, one that will help prepare me for work by the time I graduate. The professors really care about your education and they want to see you succeed. They facilitate a great learning environment. At ASU, we have interdisciplinary classes, Meaning we have P&Os, OTs, and PTs in some classes. But we stay with the same people who came into physical therapy with us throughout our 3 years here. It makes for a great environment and promotes cohesiveness, allowing us to get to know each other. While the program is great, there are some issues, as with other schools. For example, sometimes the internet is down for a period of time and then we are not able to access documents online. But, the program is, I think one of the best physical therapy programs around- very intense."

"ASU's graduate education program was the right choice for me. I am grateful for the instruction in and practice with developing the human spirit. The experiences there allow me to help students to grow in their academics as well as in their abilities to make choices that are moral and to use those choices to propel them towards a wholesome, responsible life."

"I enjoyed my time in ASU. I was able to build a great relationship with my teachers and friends while receiving great formal education. If you make good use of your time, you will definitely succeed at Alabama State University. The small size of class makes it easier to benefit fully from your instructors. There are tons of career fairs, network activities and extracurricular activities that would boost your chances of coming out as a good professional in whatever field you find yourself."

"My experience at Alabama State was very enlightening. My teachers were very accessible and were able to help me with anything I needed. The class sizes were small so learning was easy. The course subjects were directly related to real-world experiences that I might encounter. I also had many networking opportunities that will help me in my future career."

"The graduate program at Alabama State University is a great stepping stone for any accountant. They provide scholarships that cover full tuition, books, and fees which reduces the financial burden of receiving another degree. Also the learning environment is very open and encourages students to participate in open discussions on the relevant topics. We do much critical thinking to better prepare us for the real world of accounting. The class sizes are very small so you get much one on one interaction with the instructors."

"Alabama State University's Occupational Therapy programs pass rate for the National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification examination as first-time new graduate test takers during 2011-2013 was 88%. A con of the graduate program is the limited scholarship opportunities that are offered at the University."

"This program is being revamped so its kinda rusty right now but in the further I see this working very well. All the instructors are very willing to help and are concerned about our needs. The building is very technologically advanced and you have more opportunities to use the building and rooms than you do in other institutions. Very satisfied with my decision except for the fact of the curriculum at this time."

"My pros and cons for my graduation program are to stay in school, maintain a GPA of a 3.5 of above, and to make at least a 18 on the ACT when I take it again. I shall complete all of these goals and make others proud of me and also myself. I am a honor student and I shall stay a honor student."
