"I am thankful for Everest it gave me the opportunity to become a Medical Assitant and then I took my Certification and I got a job. It inspired me to continue my education and get my Bachelors Degree in Health and Human Services. I know the school is closed now but my campus in Columbus Ohio was a good school with remarkable and dedicated professionals. I thank Ms. Flowers for her support and encouragement. I graduated with a 4.0 and I would recommend individuals to go to school and learn to further their hopes and horizons."

"I graduated from this school back in 2014 and I have yet to find a job in the medical field. Im not saying it CANT be done, but can be extremely difficult. It is overpriced for a diploma program, but I was told the price before I enrolled so that's on me. I know plenty of people I did go to school with who has found jobs, so this is can be a individual thing, or based on being bilingual or more aggressive job seeker. I graduated with a 3.54, and still haven't been fortunate enough. I had SOME pretty good professors but not all. Career services is a joke. Do all your research before enrolling PLEASE! or if you're like me, and are looking into medical assisting, your local community college will probably be a better option. I hope i was of some assistance. and GOOD LUCK!"

"Terrible management, they were so unorganized they even lost our papers, staff was horrible. They fired our teacher over night.. No one liked her anyway, she always had "favorites" - people who bring her coffee and kiss her behind. I was on the honor roll the whole time I was there until they fired my instructor and made me switch to the other class which i could not understand because she did everything differently. Also the school closed in like 2 months, how does a school even move just like that? They don't help you with your job afterwards like they say they would.. Even with my extern site, they had me quit both of my jobs two weeks before finishing school because they wanted me to be ready to go straight to extern, but I waited an extra two weeks until starting my extern site.. That's a whole month I could have gotten paid for. I have bills to pay like the stupid student loan I have now because I decided to go there, worst decision I've ever made my whole life! As far as the job is, they don't help you with that neither. They will tell you that they are working on it but wont do anything. I got my job by myself and I take full credit for it. They were so messy the DOH is still missing papers from my application that they sent in so now my "certification" is still pending until they have it. If I knew better, I wouldn't have wasted my money on these programs. AND they are always sending me to voicemail when ever I call!!"

"First off, let me just say that my teacher was nice. That's about it. I thought that I would get a decent education because they worked in the medical field. They taught the basics. blood draw, vitals, and what not. Most to half or more of the terminology that I was taught I have forgotten already. The problem is that after 8 months of schooling, I was unable to find a job. 3 years later, I still do not have a job as a medical assistant and I'm drowning in their student loan debt. im paying a 20,000 dollar loan so no one can hire me because I come from this school. trust me, ive applied to many places over this 3 year course and still I feel that these employers look down upon anyone that comes from this school. Now that its closed, I get no forgiveness on my loans while others that I went to school with got theirs forgiven. Their reason was because "everyone has a different situation". I'm pretty sure we all have the same reason and that is that our school was closed down. Why am I still paying their private loan that goes to them if all their schools are closed? why cant i keep that money and only pay the dept of education? do your research before going to any of these vocational schools because you can get the same education at a community college and will probably get a higher chance at getting a job. I regret ever going here and spending my time and money on a school that lied about their job placement rates just to steal money from people that are just trying to get their life together. And another thing, their career services sucked. They will tell you that they'll help you find a job blah blah blah. They'll help you find an externship. If you get placed in an externship that isn't looking to hire, well tough luck, you're on your own after that. You're old news after you get out of your externship because there's more people finishing and they'll be focusing on them."

"This school is ridiculous! All they want is money. They hardly teach anything, very little basic stuff. They say they will help find you an intern as well as a job..hah. I found a site and job ON MY OWN!! I was sent on 1 interview to a hole in the wall place that only wanted to work me 2 days a week. I would not recommend anyone using this school!!"

"I’m going to start a petition against Everest career service team in Jonesboro,Ga...I don’t care if im done with them or not I still have 11,000 in loans to pay this school that did nothing to help me...I still have friends that are trying to finish just like I did and I will do whatever I have to do to make sure they are completing this program..I didn’t have help from nobody in that school when it came to my extern...they stated they have all of these different sites but she continues to send multiple people on the same interviews and don’t care if its two days before the day that we are originally suppose to start extern...if it wasn’t for a friend I wouldn’t even have a job right now...I did it with a classmates help not Ms.B. nor T. nor any of those other people up there...first they told us we are able to look for our own sites but then when we find our own sites its a problem...to all those still at this ridiculous school don’t depend on these people...they will not make sure you straight..do your own thing and don’t let them tell you that you cant go to whatever site you want...if the site tells you they will except you Everest will get a contract its no hassle to it if they tell you they cant they are just being lazy...but this is the trick to the whole school even if you are not satisfied with their service you can not drop the program because YOU STILL HAVE TO PAY....IM SO DISAPPOINTED WITH JONESBORO,GA EVEREST CAMPUS"

"I enrolled at Everest College on a whim, just a single mom looking for a way to better her career. I absolutely loved the medical assistant program, my teacher was amazing and I learned so much. The career services department on the other hand, made the process of my externship absolutely miserable. My 2 year old got sick half way through my externship, I was out for 3 days and they threatened to drop me from the program. They would call me 4 times in a row and leave me rude voice mails followed by nasty emails. They talked down to me like I was a 5 year old and were extremely unprofessional. I would repeat the program all over again if they weren't there."

"DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL!!!!!!! When I went in they made all kinds of promises that were all lies! When I went into do my financial aid I had a pell grant for almost $6,000. They told me the rest was going to be a grant except $2,835 that I would have to pay back. When I finished school I got an email from a loan company saying I owed the $9,500 and just last week another loan company emailed my and said I owe the around $3,000. When I asked where my pell grant was they said I see you had a pell grant for $1,700 I then said that is not right where is the rest of it and they said they did not know. I feel completely fraud! I have all these loans to pay back and still haven't even found a job in the field I went in for. Loan companies are harassing my I keep telling them I had no knowledge of any of this and that the school lied too me. with all of this said if anyone knows where I can get some help with this manner please let me know. I just want all of this to go away so I can go to a real school."

"This school is nothing. They are full of lies and have you paying all this money and dont even help you with any jobs afterwards. But they constantly blow up your phone and expect you to pay. How can i pay if i have no job in the field i went to school for. This school is very poor and should be shut down. They lie way too much. Constantly changing the pay of your tuition and etc. I wouldnt recommend this school to anyone! I would tell them to run and never look back!"

"I am very disappointed with Everest Institute (Marietta, GA). Don't believe that they have jobs awaiting for you after graduation. First they can't keep adequate staff so therefore you're going from counselor to counselor. They lie and say they will help you find employment but then when the time comes to find a job, they give you all these stories about all the other schools that they are competing with for these jobs. Why didn't you tell us that before you got our financial aide money! DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE! I have been out of school for over a year and yet to find a job. I have had three different counselors and none have been any help. I don't think they care their just there for a paycheck. DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE! The whole time you're in school there was always a staff member smiling in your face but as soon as your out of there, Good riddance!! I wouldn't recommend it unless you're already working in this field but just need a diploma."

"When I first started at the Everest in Chesapeake VA 23320 I was extremely excited. I came to the school and they gave me a tour and when you enter the school there is a board up of some of the people who have gotten jobs after they graduated. I was very impressed at that and that made me more excited about attending because I wanted to be one of those individuals. I aced all my courses and ended the school year with a 4.0 GPA. . I was an ambassador for my high academic scores and also had perfect attendance my whole school year. I'm writing this review on Monday June 23, 2014 and I'm still jobless!!! Even with all of my Great academic achievements Deans list, Presidents list etc. I still have no job. Everest is a terrible school i went several times after i graduated to do mock interviews and to get change around my resume to make it more appealing to employers. I would always have to pop up at the school because my career rep never answered his phone and never returned msgs or calls. BRAD MITCHELL is an example of a bed rep and he needs to be fired!! Every time you call the school you can never get up with this man! And when he did it was only through text msgs no on the phone conversation at all. This school is a job. Now I'm back working a retail job trying to keep up with my monthly student loan every month which i can barely afford to pay. People please take my advice and either go to a community college or go to a university and not Everest University!! A real school where they take pride in helping there students meet there goals of being successful. Have you ever wondered how many of the employers who work at Everest went to a Everest college?? NONE!! they all went to universities and community colleges that are accredited schools!! This Everest student loan is just another bill on top of my other bills! so I basically just dug myself into a deeper hole. $17,000 I HAVE TO PAY BACK!!! The reps schedule your appointments back to back so when you meet with them they are rushing you out of there office so they can meet with the next student. Take my advice and take your money else where please people don't end up like me! Employees look at Everest students as a joke!"

"My program at Everest is wonderful!! The program is intense and was very fast paced, but well worth it in the end and the instructors are so great and put so much heart into what they do! I was able to get a job within two months after leaving my program and two of my best friends were hired as a Dental Assistant and a Medical Assistant shortly after they graduated. They too love what they do and love the offices and the people they work with. We get so spoiled by the doctors we work for! Lunch every day, Coach purses and Tiffany baubles as gifts for birthdays and holidays, use of their summer cottage for our families. I have a great job and I am loving life, all because I chose to go to Everest!! I was also a work study for the Career Services Department during my time as a student, so I saw how hard they worked and how much heart that team put into trying to mold students into hirable candidates. I would say that any negative comment you read regarding this school comes from a graduate that is just plain un-hirable. Someone that didn’t listen to the advice of their Career Representative and has poor interviewing skills, spotty employment history, and is just plain lazy and doesn’t network themselves! These are the people that I always overheard complaining!"

"Where should I start? I commuted 126 miles a day, was a student coach, had a 3.79 gpa and hardly ever missed school. Now I have a loan, I can't get a job, because no one wants to hire someone without experience. NO ONE! I've had over 15 interviews in 2 mos that I felt a connection with the interviewer and they always say I had a great interview and they'd call me right back. And never do.. But when the loan comes due, they will want some sort of payment. My case worker is supposed to work on finding interviews or line ups, and I really don't think she even found 1 business to apply to. I would never go here again, and can only warn people there are just so many medical assistant jobs out there. You can have all the schooling you want, but in the end if you don't have at least 2 yrs experience to go with it, its a moot point. Good luck"

"It is a rip-off. I am still paiding on my student loan and I have nothing to show for it. I am still in a dead end job. The job placement only helped me for one month. The counselor made it sound like I wouldn't have any trouble getting a job. What a lie. Everywhere I went wanted me to have 2 years of experience. It isn't worth what you pay for it. I regret going and wasting all that money!!!!!! How I would like to get my money back. The instructor was great, but not worth it."
