"I am thankful for Everest it gave me the opportunity to become a Medical Assitant and then I took my Certification and I got a job. It inspired me to continue my education and get my Bachelors Degree in Health and Human Services. I know the school is closed now but my campus in Columbus Ohio was a good school with remarkable and dedicated professionals. I thank Ms. Flowers for her support and encouragement. I graduated with a 4.0 and I would recommend individuals to go to school and learn to further their hopes and horizons."

"In 2014. The first time I came into this school, I was happy that I would do something different than my previous job and it was promised. The admissions pressured me to get student loans, I applied anyway, the teachers, the one teacher I like was in finance and she was awesome and told the truth about her past job at the banks, this other teacher I didn't not like she was just giving attitude for no reason, made us read a text book to answer questions online and she would mark it. That's not teaching. this other teacher who was so horrible, gets upset if we had the answers wrong, doesn't know how to mark assignments, had an anger problem, I told him to f*#k off and he was a horrible teacher. So when I left the school because I didn't see it as worth it. I'm paying osap and i hate it, I'm glad they shut the school because it was horrible to the students and all they were doing was putting people on osap to get into the program, thats how the staffs were getting paid. This was an accelerated program for 8 months straight."

"I am so glad that I made a choice to drop out of this place, considering all the stuff I've heard in the news about shutting down campuses and students trapped in student loans. I had inherited a little money from a life insurance policy from a parent passing away, so I decided to use it to go back to school and I researched majors and schools and chose Criminal Justice and Everest, after watching their commercials. They did try to sucker me into financial aid, but as mentioned earlier I already had financial resources so I didn't apply for financial aid or student loans and paid out of pocket. After a few weeks, I had noticed some of the same tricks that this school was up to that other students complained about prior to campuses being shut down so I decided to pursue my education elsewhere and dropped out. When I dropped out I was told I wasn't allowed to come back. LOL! Good, cause I didn't want to go back, the whole point of dropping out HELLO! I was also told I couldn't transfer my credits which was fine considering it was the first quarter. I am now attending a different school in which I am about to graduate with my Associates Degree in two more months and my school's career services is already breaking their backs to help me find a job. I have already been on a few interviews and I am excited and hopeful. Now I heard that Corinthian Colleges had closed a lot of their campuses, leaving students unable to transfer credits, trapped in student loans, and without a degree/diploma. My heart breaks for those students and I pray that their situations will work out, will still be able to pursue the careers they have chosen, get their loans forgiven and these schools and their company will reap what they sow. This makes me glad that I got out of there before I ended up in the same situation these students are in or have been in. I think my mistakes I made when I chose Everest before was that I didn't do enough research about accreditation and student reviews and I just listened to my television, chose a career all because it sounded good, and picked the first school that appealed to me. I was also still very young, 20 to be exact, so I hadn't really had much of a grasp on what reality and the real world is really like and I never understood that a school can stab you in the back and screw you out of money and a career that you want. So my advice to people here is really do your homework on schools and majors, don't take the commercials word for what they promise nor believe every word an admissions adviser tells you, do your research on what your state requires to obtain any licenses or certifications that your field requires, and what a lot of employers want when it comes to what kind of degree you have and what school it is from before choosing a school and/or career field and stay away from this school."

"Coming into this school was a very bad idea the instructor Dr.S threw papers at students if they get a answer wrong and he would get mad if your confused and would ask questions he explains things once if you don't get it he would hit you I would always feel and seen threads in this class he even said his said I'm a very angry man and crunched his fist he has anger problems and will continue telling people to never attend this school because nobody in this school seems to care"

"Please don't waste your hard earned money here. This school is a joke and an embarrassment to all other Colleges. I graduated in 2008 and still have NEVER seen my degree. Two weeks before i graduated I went to the finance dept to make sure i was clear to receive it. They informed me i was just fine and all schooling had been paid for. After three weeks of graduation I didn't not receive it so I contacted them and they gave me some B.S story on how I now owe $3000 in tution fees that they some how over looked. They will not send it to me until i now pay this. PLEASE do not attend this fraud of a school."

"I graduated from this school back in 2014 and I have yet to find a job in the medical field. Im not saying it CANT be done, but can be extremely difficult. It is overpriced for a diploma program, but I was told the price before I enrolled so that's on me. I know plenty of people I did go to school with who has found jobs, so this is can be a individual thing, or based on being bilingual or more aggressive job seeker. I graduated with a 3.54, and still haven't been fortunate enough. I had SOME pretty good professors but not all. Career services is a joke. Do all your research before enrolling PLEASE! or if you're like me, and are looking into medical assisting, your local community college will probably be a better option. I hope i was of some assistance. and GOOD LUCK!"

"I graduated from here back in 2004 and it's now 2016 and I still have not found a job in the Medical Field! I'm thankful I have a job but all they did was lie to the students selling false hopes and dreams. Even one of their employees said the same thing!"

"I attend the school here in Brampton back in 2012 unfortunate the program and the co-op was not very successful and finding a job in that field did not happen you have to at least volunteer with more experience and I try to apply in hospitals and clinics and I have a hard time to get in. It says you need more volunteer experience. So I try to apply in agencies but they do not have only general labor and other industrial activities. I didn't graduate and now I owe lots of money to government and it was a waste of time . My CPR expire and I wont be able to renew it's too expensive and have do it all over again. Even my classmates too they cannot find a job in the medical field and some of them drop out because it was a waste of money... and now the time I drop out they closed it do to number of student drop out. Now all I want to do is pay off my student loan and change my career.... maybe I want to do something in writing stories or doing stuff in the computers. I just need to find my way out.of this situation...."

"Your there to pretty much teach yourself. If your not there to make friends & be talkative to others, your going to fail. They want you to be social like a high schooler. Good luck hearing your instructor in class. Good luck if your not social and you miss a day, to figure it out on your own, nobody will help you with what you missed. They will hold you back, make sure you fail at MOD so you have to retake them. They don't care about your financial situation. I haven't ate myself in over a week. If your a smoker & you accidentally forget your lighter in your pocket, you'll be accused as a drug addict. Talk a lot and be rude to others and this college will love you. If you go to try your heart out, you'll be made fun of, like I have been, was supposed to be my 4th mod, but I get to retake this mod due to a medical deal, I missed part of a week. Others go on vacation for a week or more & don't have to retake the mod. Shows be rude, talk a lot, you'll pass this college in a heart beat"

"If I could give 0 stars I would. This school was horrible they forced all students into a loan with a 9.9% interest rate. Every student at the school had this loan. You had to pay the monthly fee while in school which was another downfall. I was sent on multiple interviews for the wrong positions and the school tried to take credit when I was hired off my externship site. Everything you learn in school does not apply to what you do when you get out of school."

"Terrible management, they were so unorganized they even lost our papers, staff was horrible. They fired our teacher over night.. No one liked her anyway, she always had "favorites" - people who bring her coffee and kiss her behind. I was on the honor roll the whole time I was there until they fired my instructor and made me switch to the other class which i could not understand because she did everything differently. Also the school closed in like 2 months, how does a school even move just like that? They don't help you with your job afterwards like they say they would.. Even with my extern site, they had me quit both of my jobs two weeks before finishing school because they wanted me to be ready to go straight to extern, but I waited an extra two weeks until starting my extern site.. That's a whole month I could have gotten paid for. I have bills to pay like the stupid student loan I have now because I decided to go there, worst decision I've ever made my whole life! As far as the job is, they don't help you with that neither. They will tell you that they are working on it but wont do anything. I got my job by myself and I take full credit for it. They were so messy the DOH is still missing papers from my application that they sent in so now my "certification" is still pending until they have it. If I knew better, I wouldn't have wasted my money on these programs. AND they are always sending me to voicemail when ever I call!!"

"When I signed up to go to Everest I was guaranteed that the job placement center would help me find a job as a Medical Assistant even though I have a DV (Domestic Violence) on my record. I proceeded with the course and graduated in May of 2007. I found the places that were hiring on my own but I was never hired because of my background. I tried to get help through the job placement center and this is the help I got they never helped me with my resume, never helped with the interview process which I was promised and I asked them to help with finding me a job their answer was the jobs are listed in the board over there. I looked for about 2 years and went back to what I was doing before which was Finances. I feel since I was lied to from the get go I shouldn't have to pay for my loans since it is completely useless to me."

"So sad it closed, but I had great teachers and great training I was proud to get a diploma from there I also had great marks Most of the students where great some just took the course and didn't make but about 80% did and I've had a job from day 1 after completing my course you usually get your career from placements, they did help you with your resume and fax off job also had you attend career job fairs. They did a great job at Kitchener location.... I'm tired I hearing all negative about this college."

"First off, let me just say that my teacher was nice. That's about it. I thought that I would get a decent education because they worked in the medical field. They taught the basics. blood draw, vitals, and what not. Most to half or more of the terminology that I was taught I have forgotten already. The problem is that after 8 months of schooling, I was unable to find a job. 3 years later, I still do not have a job as a medical assistant and I'm drowning in their student loan debt. im paying a 20,000 dollar loan so no one can hire me because I come from this school. trust me, ive applied to many places over this 3 year course and still I feel that these employers look down upon anyone that comes from this school. Now that its closed, I get no forgiveness on my loans while others that I went to school with got theirs forgiven. Their reason was because "everyone has a different situation". I'm pretty sure we all have the same reason and that is that our school was closed down. Why am I still paying their private loan that goes to them if all their schools are closed? why cant i keep that money and only pay the dept of education? do your research before going to any of these vocational schools because you can get the same education at a community college and will probably get a higher chance at getting a job. I regret ever going here and spending my time and money on a school that lied about their job placement rates just to steal money from people that are just trying to get their life together. And another thing, their career services sucked. They will tell you that they'll help you find a job blah blah blah. They'll help you find an externship. If you get placed in an externship that isn't looking to hire, well tough luck, you're on your own after that. You're old news after you get out of your externship because there's more people finishing and they'll be focusing on them."

"There are no tutors for anything whatsoever. IT, Accounting, None. The Student Aid people tried but couldn't help. The IT lab is self paced. Spend tons of time there. All you got. Take the class by itself if you can. The Accounting has a 3rd party lab too. No tutors. The teachers are about 1/3 bad and 2/3 good that get back to you, some are very nice. They are your only help besides youtube.com and extra outside tutors you pay for. The classes are $1200 ea if you have to take them over, you pay extra. Very frustrating if you aren't used to playing phone tag and not getting answered. One teacher's phone was off. Others didn't answer. 2 did, after several attempts etc. The financial dept will take your money and make sure you give them stuff, and are patient. The 24/7 technical hotline for computer/class issues is their best suit. They answer every every every time. Free HP Probook 455-G1 computer for IT."

"Everest college is the worst college. I did MIBC (Medical Billing & Coding ) from there on 2007 and still couldn't find a job. Before I join they told me that they're going to help me to find a job but after I finish my class I called them many time but they never help me. Every time I call them they ask me to send my resume and the'll call me back but they never do. I spend almost $9,000 for nothing. They just want your money that's it. Please guys don't waste your time and money on this college."
