Words cannot begin to explain how grateful I am to have been blessed with the opportunity to attend AIU. Shortly after graduating high school in 2018, I received a phone call from an AIU admissions advisor asking me if I would be interested in joining the University. At first, I was extremely hesitant because I wasn't 100% sure if I was ready to pursue college. However, after being thoroughly informed about my options and everything that I should expect upon joining the school I was instantly convinced... Read More that this was the route that I wanted to take. The enrollment process was made easy with the assistance of AIU's friendly staff members (my admissions advisor and financial aid advisor) and before I knew it, I had begun my journey of pursuing my associates degree in Business Administration. Attending American InterContinental University online not only allowed me the flexibility to balance school while still continuing to work full time and manage other important responsibilities, but this has also helped me to become more disciplined and devoted towards achieving the academic goals that I had set out for myself. Successfully graduating from AIU as an Associate of Arts in Business Administration wouldn't have been possible without the genuine help and guidance that I received from the community staff members and professors every step of the way. They all have set me up for success and remained there to support me during times when I needed it the most, but my freshman year academic advisor was my main source of inspiration who truly motivated me to always strive for greatness and be the best I can be. She reminded me frequently that I have what it takes to succeed in everything that I do, going above and beyond to make sure that I was always on the right path to success in college. If ever I felt like I was pursing my academic journey alone, she was always there to remind me that this was never the case and that she would always be there anytime I needed encouragement or "Sunshine" on a stormy day. It was because of her that I decided to continue attending AIU to pursue my bachelor's in business administration. After receiving my associates degree, I was immediately re-enrolled to continue school right from where I left off. Unfortunately, I was unable to keep the same academic advisor although I still had the ability to contact her if I ever needed to. My new academic advisor was great as well and she provided me with the same level of guidance that I needed to be successful in pursuing my bachelor's degree. Any questions that I've ever had regarding school were always answered in a timely manner which made pursuing my bachelor's degree a lot smoother. A few more things that I admired about attending this college is the convenience of its online AIU mobile app, the Get Set community for students, and the simplicity of using the online portal altogether. I have been done unfairly all my life aiu allowed me to go in dept well aware my funding would run out with only 7 classes left forced to withdraw because with only two weeks' notice I was informed to continue payments had to be made of 650 a month. in the beginning, it was amazing I made it clear I would not attend if I did not have the assistance to finish and they allowed me to borrow over 18 thousand knowing I would not complete school. Because of COVID, I lost my job but I still wanted to study and use the time available as much as possible. I am pursuing my MBA with a specialization in Healthcare Management from AIU and I am happy with the format since it allows me a lot of flexibility in how I choose to study. I was not looking for a program where they only teach theory and this program has been great that way. Some courses are theoretical but for those courses, it is required to know a lot of theory so I guess that is fine. The best part was that I did my test through intellipath and was amazed at the feedback I received. Kudos, AIU, Thank you Talentedge for assisting through the admission!

I never studied online before and due to COVID19, I had to opt for an online MBA since I didn’t want to waste the downtime. Luckily I joined American Intercontinental University through the selection process by Talentedge. My experience has been very good indeed. Online learning is different from on-campus learning and I do miss the classroom setting but AIU faculty does its best to create a nice and easy online learning environment. I think where AIU shines is the self-paced platform which allows... Read More me to pace myself in my own way. Besides this, I feel that Talentedge offers a low tuition fee and still brings highly experienced professors from everywhere in the world to teach which I have not seen before. I am amazed that the world has at this level, I was planning for an MBA from an American university but leaving the job was not a wise chance I wanted to take plus the expenses of a foreign degree, I took a chance in 2019 with proper R&D and completed this degree while earning since now I hold an MBA in healthcare from AIU, I recently changed my job and ROI is quite great after exp. of 6 years in healthcare, I saw my role in the job change. Personally for me, it’s been a wonderful online learning experience. We get our learning materials and resources at the beginning of each term and we are expected to participate in the registered course every week. All students get a new assignment, reading material, and quiz every Thursday and we are expected to meet the submission deadline which is next week Wednesday. When I start applying for AIU I was in the middle of wait for another college to receive my transcript. At the time I was a least a month before I call Saint Leo and was told they never receive my transcript. I was already exhausted because I was looking for other college that had my major and willing to get me in quick. Once I decide to not to Saint Leo since there process was taking too long. I try AIU I apply Friday night and by Saturday morning I had so many phone call from AIU it was crazy.... Read More Once I finally accept the call I was able to get accept into AIU on the same day. Within a few days I had send over my high school diploma upload and had my transcript send over to AIU. I also forgot to mention I was transfer from community college to AIU. When other college told me they can`t accept me because of financial aid. AIU was like we going to take care of you and make sure you graduate. I want to thank everyone at AIU for getting me enrolled in school and achieving my dream. I am the first in my Family to obtain a degree . I am proud of my accomplishments I love my school. And i recommend AIU to all student in the World who want a good Education. I attended AIU Online from 2018-2021. I have seen many of the complaints about AIU, but also heard it was a good college for military people as I was active duty at the time of enrollment. AIU has had no more notable scandals than really most colleges. When people say go to a real college, but complain about how financial aid and student advising is handled at their “real college” I am thankful to say I never had these problems with AIU. I acknowledge people have had problems in the past, and I respect those problems and won’t invalidate anyone’s experiences. I will just say my experience with AIU was a breeze, AIU IS an accredited institution and your degree IS worth something. My mother, also a veteran, attended AIU before me and received her master’s degree and has been working WITH her degree and getting jobs WITH her degree for upwards of 15 years. AIU is not a fraudulent college, they have had controversy yes. And truthfully I believe college should be free, and any college charging you money to learn is scamming you, but this is America where we have to settle for capitalism, and I see nothing different with AIU’s practices than any other university, and these scandals did not affect the quality of my education. I am not writing this to defend AIU. I have no interest in defending any institution that charges people to learn, I am simply giving my honest feedback. This was a great school to attend. The staff was very polite and all of my instructors were considerate of my personal issues with VERY respectable windows for late assignments and if you did an assignment wrong, you often get the option to redo it. Learning with AIU is structured and if you do your work on time, actually do the reading assignments, and soak in the information you’re being given instead of just trying to pass the class you will benefit from the flexibility of doing AIU Online and having free time to work, or whatever else you need to do with your day. In conclusion, I would recommend AIU to anyone seeking higher education. I will also say AIU has frequently been called out for certain things, but they also always fix whatever issues they have internally and right their wrongs much quicker than most universities with any type of scandal, and that’s all that matters.
