Degree: Nursing Science
Graduation Year: 2018

This school isn't bad but the financial aid office is awful! If you need financial aid I would recommend not going to this school they take forever and do not reply to anyone for days at a time taking multiple calls to get answers. Very uneducated people working in the office and don't seem to care about their jobs. You literally have maybe 3 people that work there that are completely unhelpful!

Degree: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Graduation Year: 2017

I am currently in the RN to MSN program. I have to say that I have been jerked around quite a lot by this school in terms of the requirements changing several times while I have been enrolled and the hoops that I have had to jump through to go through each class. When I started I was not informed about the practice hours requirements and then all of a sudden I had to find a way to do 30 practice hours for each class in addition to working full time, doing the class work, and taking care of my family. The student has to find their own mentor/PE situation and complete additional documentation. The PE handbook is very confusing. My friend who just graduated never had to do any of this. I had to ask for course extensions for 3 courses in a row so that I could get the work done. Part of this was due to the requirement for the back ground check and requirement to have a school ID. I received my ID several MONTHS after I applied for the background check, which caused me to have to ask for course extensions, which I had to pay an extra fee for. I was told I needed to take statistics as a prerequisite for the Nursing Research course. We had purchased credit hours, but I couldn't register for the course until I showed a passing grade in statistics. So, I registered for statistics. The night before I took my final exam in statistics, my advisor told me that the class was no longer a prerequisite. I was pretty pissed that I wasted time, energy, stress, and money taking a course that I did not need to take. Then I tried to register for the research class that I needed, and was told that the purcased credit hourse had "expired" because i did not use them???? I didn't use them because i was told I had to take a statistics class first! Now the class I need to take starts on Monday, (today is TuesdaY) how likely is it that I will be able to obtain the textbook and register in time???? All I have to say is really do your homework when looking at these online nursing schools. They are just in business to make money off of you. I plan to try to stick it out so that I get my piece of paper (diploma) but I just want to warn other students. I don't normally take the time to write reviews but I really wanted to share my experience. I am normally a 4.0 student and I still am but I am very concerned about what the rest of my experience is going to entail and how my degree will really hold up and help/hurt my career.
