"Safe learning environment. Educators and staff are helpful and kind, always willing to enhance our learning experience. The nursing program is rigorous but provides a rich learning environment that allows for personal growth and development for future practice."

"The opportunities for mentoring and growing spiritually are usually on display. However, the chance to mentor online students seems to be lacking. There seemed to be confusion and chaos in some of the departments and units which are critical to the university. As a result, students sometimes receive poor service or communication because of the breakdown in the departments that need to communicate and collaborate. While some professors seem committed and hardworking, there are some that are very laidback and need to be evaluated and assessed continuously by customers and supervisors. Additionally, the university needs a functioning and robust career services department to help students with their career aspirations and goals. Academic chairs may mean well, but sometimes they are so inundated with advising and teaching that they may have no time to help students plan their careers adequately. Students pay a premium to attend this university; therefore, the services should be top-notch and not lackluster."

"There is so much wrong with this campus. Faculty and professors are extremely lazy and judgmental. They are quick to report and disrespect you. Classes are poorly run and way too expensive for what you get. Academic discussions are limited and very biased, as they only teach what fits within their religious beliefs. If you do not fit within these beliefs prepare to be judged, disrespected, and ignored. The international office does not do their job and are unaccepting of other religions. Most international students feel powerless here. All faculty are slow (if ever) to reply emails and need multiple prompts to do one simple thing (like signing something even). They are rude and want to treat you like a child."

"Andrews University is a vary diverse campus and university. If you are religious or hoping to become more religious/deepen your relationship with God, this school will be a good fit. There are mandatory chapel services and various optional religious programs offered. Outside of the religious aspect, the education is very interactive. The classes are small unless pursuing a common degree like Biology. There are ample opportunities to hang out, have fun, and meet people. Due to the campus diverse population, you can always experience a new culture by joining a club or attending any club programs. Andrews University is located in a small and conservative town. If you are from the city or not looking for a religious experience, I do not recommend. If you are looking for a religious experience and close-knit feel, Andrews University is the place for you."

"For students wanting to earn a bachelor of science in nursing, I would not recommend this program. The cost of the program without financial assistance is too great for the value of education. The professors are nice, but the building and equipment are outdated. In addition, a lot of faculty was leaving during my time and new staff was unsure about the policies and procedures of the school. I believe that there are other universities that can provide equal or superior education at a lower cost. I would recommend doing an associate's degree at a reasonable cost and then doing your RN-BSN online or let your hospital cover the cost."

"If I could go back in time I never would have attended this school. Andrews University is a school that is lacking in so many categories I don't even know where to start. From the upset student body to the lack of classes offered. When attending Andrews University, the longer you're on campus the more you realize why the school has a terrible reputation. Save your money and attend a different school at all costs."

"Andrews is a great school especially if you're looking for a campus with spiritual emphasis as well as rigorous academic environment. Most of the faculty are really good at what they do. The School of Business tends to have great professors that are committed to student success"

"It was an excellent program but the social scene was lacking. I was going through some "growing pains" while there too as well as exploring my religious/spirituality. That detracted from my time there but others seemed to enjoy the place very much. I recommend it except its cost is way too high but I was not as aware of that back then as I am now."

"This school had a lot of positive aspects but a lot of negatives aspects as well. First, it is not affordable. It is a private Christian school so there aren't many scholarships or financial aid offered. Most of the assistance comes in the form of student loans. Secondly, it does not allow students to function as adults and experience what it is like to live away from home and make their own decisions. The dorms are not co-ed and the opposite sex is not allowed into your dorm rooms, add to that the curfew and it feels like you're still a teenager at home with your parents. The point of college, especially if you go away to college, is to find yourself and figure out who you are when you don't have mom and dad to tell you what to do. The decisions you make then defines who you are. This is impossible at Andrews because the school takes that role. The cafeteria also does not offer a wide variety of food. Everything is vegetarian or vegan so if you like meat this is not the place for you. The course outline for a math degree left me highly unprepared for graduate school. However, after my graduation they changed the bulletin and it is not more suited to prepare someone to enter a graduate program for mathematics. On Saturday, everything is close including the library and that can be annoying. With all that said, there were a few positive things about this school. One, they emphasized building your resume with summer internships and REUS and they place a lot of emphasis on research which is beneficial for graduate school. The professors are personable and there are several opportunities to get to know them personally. By the end, you feel like they're your family. Depending on your major the class sizes are small which is allows a lot of individual attention. Professors are not only concerned with content knowledge but it is easy to find meaning, engaging, philosophical conversation."

"Andrews University greatly prepared me for my future career as a physician. My professors and advisers were very involved and invested into my education. I felt prepared for taking my MCAT and entrance into medical school and would recommend it anyone looking for an institution with a strong science and pre-professional program."

"Master of Divinity at Andrews University is very great. This is the school for every young adult, it is quiet with much space. It is not as populated as other schools and so you will have processes going fast and smooth with not violence or crime since I have been there. I have NOT received any gift for this review and I am doing this on my own accord and for my benefit."

"I transferred to andrews halfway through my degree and found it lacking in difficulty and variety of class topic options. Some of my class at my previous school literally covered two levels of classes at Andrews."
