Graduation Year: 2019

At least there is a little bit of light at the end of the tunnel! I definitely would recommend transferring your credits to South University. When I first decided to transferred to South University, the academic advisor and  admissions told me that they will be willing to accept only 65 credits out of my 114 that I earned. Meaning, I wouldn't have graduated till May of 2020. After South University deliberated on the situation of all Argosy students, they decided to knock off a bigger percent of earned credits. Which now puts me only taken 6 courses instead of the 14. So instead of graduating next year of 2020 , I can now graduate this year of 2019.And all of my financial problems with Argosy will be will be eliminated. If you are a former student of Argosy University I would definitely suggest you call South University and talk to admissions. I thought no one cared about Argosy University's student's situation but I was wrong. Call South University please!!! You might be surprised just like I was. And trust me, I am not an easy person to please! But the South did their thang!!!!

I enjoyed my time at Argosy! However, I was shy of one class graduating with my Masters this year! And then they closed! Was not happy! I suggested that everyone look at these online programs very carefully before deciding to go to that school! Otherwise, I enjoyed my time there.

Degree: Forensic Psychology
Graduation Year: 2018

My experience at this school was good. The professors always provided feedback and my academic, admissions and career counselors/ advisors were always receptive to my questions via email. They also gave me courtesy calls and emails just to "check in". I graduated with a 4.0 GPA. I will suggest that persons who do not wish to put out high levels of work, commitment and academic papers of high quality, do not enroll as you will not succeed. The bad reviews on Argosy that I read are saddening and I think that they may have had bad experiences due to the level of work they had put out.

Degree: Psychology
Graduation Year: 2018

Argosy University is a great school. The staff is very friendly, helpful and professional. The instructor's where very attentive, insightful, and helpful. They challenged us every week to ensure that we have mastered the material. They truly care about the success of their students. I could not have asked for a better experience. I graduated with a 3.68 GPA. And I'm currently enrolling to take my BA in Psychology and joining the MAPs program with them as well so that I can get a head start on earning my masters degree. I also intend on earning my doctoral degree with them as they are APA accredited. I highly recommend this school if you are looking to earn a degree online, but you must be dedicated to yourself and your future to make it to your end goal and to make the experience worth it. WARNING! Do not even attempt online schooling if you have no self control or improper self and time management skills. You get out what you put into it, simple as that! :)

Degree: Forensic Psychology
Graduation Year: 2017

I received my MA from Argosy a little over a year ago. I was unable to find a job as they did not provide placements or licensure with this degree. The only time the university followed up with me was to offer me a scholarship on numerous times to come back to the school. Currently, I am seeking out a school to obtain my school psychologist degree. I was hopeful that this time around would be better however it was not. I was rushing to get all my paperwork completed and even followed up with my enrollment counselor to make sure I completed it all on time. I was emailed back about a day later but only because I had missed class. I was unaware that I was even enrolled in any classes and I was also not informed of the time or location of the classes either. As a whole university, Argosy has terrible communication. One might assume that when I did not attend orientation (which I was also not informed of) that someone might call to follow up. This made my ultimate decision to withdraw from the university. With my withdrawal there was no apology either, just an "I understand." If you're a person who values communication and timelines from a university this is not the one for you.

Degree: MBA in Management
Graduation Year: 2018

The financial aide office gives you the run around and can't explain any fees. Once you become a student and enroll into their program, no one returns your phone call or email. Each teacher play by their own rules, some teachers are blanket racist. I had a teacher pretty much failed every student of color so if I was you never put a picture up by your profile. When you bring this to the staff attention, I was told they couldn't do anything about it because I was online, kep in mind every student made a complaint about the teacher.

Degree: Psychology
Graduation Year: 2016

For the most part I am glad that I did attend Argosy University only because getting my undergraduate degree was needed for me to pursue my goal in social work, but like the other reviews the educators and counselors acted as if they were interested in my education only for financial gain. This school was more interested in my tuition fees then me. My problem was when I didn't see eye to eye with an instructor and I requested counseling with the Dean of psychology, they refuse to help me. The Dean never responded to my needs nor did the Dean of psychology called me to address my concerns. I made multiple calls for help but was never replied to, only person who replied to me was a volunteer personnel in the student service center department who act in the behalf of the Dean. I couldn't believe how this school function so poorly as a "so called University". This is one of the worst schools in the Universe. Now I am hearing that this school has closed down several of there campuses, what's going to happened to the current students? This was my fear when I was attending this school. It took me 3 1/2 years to complete my program, I had a couple of breaks in between from health issues but I am glad that I already graduated. I do not have to deal with this educational institution anymore. If you are a student that is looking to get a degree, do yourself a favor and attend another college, especially since more traditional schools have opened up their online programs to make it very easy for students like you and I to applied and get accepted fairly easy. Try a traditional school you will save money and time!

Degree: Psychology, General
Graduation Year: 2014

I started at Argosy in 2012, I was happy with the classes, but I had to leave due to family problems. Flash forward to 2018 and I am trying to get a copy of my transcripts and I'm told I owe over two thousand dollars due to financial aid not being dispersed, fine I pay what I owe and I was told by the FA office I would have the hold lifted after 24 hours and would be able to order transcripts. Now I'm getting the runaround from academic counseling; the school only mails transcripts, they DO NOT offer electronic transcripts. Don't bother with this school.
