For the most part I am glad that I did attend Argosy University only because getting my undergraduate degree was needed for me to pursue my goal in social work, but like the other reviews the educators and counselors acted as if they were interested in my education only for financial gain. This school was more interested in my tuition fees then me. My problem was when I didn't see eye to eye with an instructor and I requested counseling with the Dean of psychology, they refuse to help me. The Dean never responded to my needs nor did the Dean of psychology called me to address my concerns. I made multiple calls for help but was never replied to, only person who replied to me was a volunteer personnel in the student service center department who act in the behalf of the Dean. I couldn't believe how this school function so poorly as a "so called University". This is one of the worst schools in the Universe. Now I am hearing that this school has closed down several of there campuses, what's going to happened to the current students? This was my fear when I was attending this school. It took me 3 1/2 years to complete my program, I had a couple of breaks in between from health issues but I am glad that I already graduated. I do not have to deal with this educational institution anymore. If you are a student that is looking to get a degree, do yourself a favor and attend another college, especially since more traditional schools have opened up their online programs to make it very easy for students like you and I to applied and get accepted fairly easy. Try a traditional school you will save money and time!

I started at Argosy in 2012, I was happy with the classes, but I had to leave due to family problems. Flash forward to 2018 and I am trying to get a copy of my transcripts and I'm told I owe over two thousand dollars due to financial aid not being dispersed, fine I pay what I owe and I was told by the FA office I would have the hold lifted after 24 hours and would be able to order transcripts. Now I'm getting the runaround from academic counseling; the school only mails transcripts, they DO NOT offer electronic transcripts. Don't bother with this school.

This school is a psycho circus. I am a war vet. who has a few learning disabilities. The instructors consider themselves to be professors and they are for the most part selfish unhelpful asses. The financial spent here they dont give you the monies that they say they will. The tutoring one is completely promised to receive, well, is one that makes you feel that you are in a desert at night. Do yourself a favor and RUN AWAY if you value your previous time and sanity. The counselors here are unscupolus shiftless bafoon clowns.

Argosy University Online Ed.D in Counseling Psychology. I am looking for people who are currently enrolled or formerly enrolled in the Ed.D in Counseling Psychology program who are willing to petition the accreditation boards and file a class action lawsuit!

Overall, If I'm being completely honest, Argosy was a decent experience for me. I only had a issue with two instructors, which is to be expected, you will not like everyone. I never had an issue with financial aid or anyone getting back with me. When I was completing my last class, I did feel abandoned by my advisors, and I felt as if they pretended to care, and stopped once they got my money. I think it's crazy to assume that anyone cares about your degree more than you, but they did give me the impression that all they cared about was my money towards the end. To be completely fair, I had a issue and had to take a much needed break and my advisor made it happen.

Run Away from Argosy University. I am serious. This place is a Money Pit! The Financial Aid officers are RUDE. They find every excuse to take your money from you. They add extra charges, and if you are not careful, they will charge you twice for the same course. They make you PAY tp write your dissertation. You can barely find a decent paying job after you graduate. Look up Argosy Lawsuit on Google. They had to pay money to students for misleading information. DO NOT GO TO ARGOS UNIVERSITY!!! RUN!!!!!!!!!!

I completed my degree at Argosy University online in September of 2012. For the most part, the professors were great. I had a couple of rude ones and financial aid was good back then. However, about over a week ago, I needed my transcripts (and still do) and all I have been getting is the run-a-arounds. I was told from the operators and the admissions office that it takes the "register's office" 1 to 2 business days to get in touch with me....this is so NOT true! Its now on the second week and no one knows anything. Between the operators and the admissions office, all I am getting is the run-a-rounds. All they do is tell me to leave messages with the register's office "and I do" with no phone call back from the register's office. All I get is a voice machine. I even contacted the "director of admissions" through email and have not heard back from him either. I am so glad that I went to school back then instead of now. No one could not even pay me enough of money to go to Argosy. They are not even worth the money if someone paid me. Even if I got a scholarship for the whole 2 years, I still would not attend. IF they are this way now, I can imagine how it is for most students. I cannot get an answer from anyone about my transcripts. All I hear is that I am just an operator, so I dont know. They should make it a way that if someone is not answering in the "register's office" that someone can handle calls and situations like this. All I need is for the register's office to answer a few questions for me...and I CANNOT even get those questions answered.... Argosy University is not AS professional as they seem....

The school gives the run around when it comes to asking simple questions. This doesn't help with career placement nor any real guidance when it comes to finding employment leads. This school does not live up to what the academic advisor at Argosy University tell you. The financial aid advisor also gives you a lot of the wrong information. It's like they hired idiots to do a job

Degree: Business Administration
Graduation Year: 2017

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Argosy University, with the exception of a a few lackluster professors. I was enrolled in the online MBA through the Sarasota campus. I never had an issue with Financial Aid or Administration in anyway. My Academic Advisor was always prompt in responding to my inquiries. As with any college experience, there will be some professors that are better than others. The majority of the ones I had in this program were good. The hardest part of the program is adhering to deadlines. It is enforced, at the same time, however, most professors will allow late submissions if you communicate to them prior to the due date. I would recommend the online program to others. I am also considering enrolling for my D.B.A. through them. *I would also like to mention that Argosy has now become a not for profit school. I noticed that was a complaint in many of the reviews on here.
