I loved ASU! The classes and professors were great, kind, and very helpful. The student teaching experience was amazing! ASU has wonderful mentor teachers and I love how you can graduate in 4 years with a teaching credential, which is not possible in California.

ASU provided a beneficial collegiate experience and prepared me for professional life. The faculty was accommodating and helpful when other aspects of teacher preparation fell short to expectations. I plan to continue my education at ASU by entering a graduate program in the fall.

Attending Arizona State University as an undergraduate was the best decision I could have made. There were other schools in mind, but ASU had the most benefits for my education. The dorm life at Arizona State University was a great experience for me! Before moving in I was connected with many freshman. It was helpful to talk to other freshman before starting because it made me less nervous to meet people and get involved once school began. The staff at Arizona State is phenomenal. I always felt supported... Read More

I obtained my Bachelor's of Arts in Education in 2002. My program allowed me to student teach for a full year. Through the classes and instructors, I felt I was ready to take my own class. The coursework definitely prepares future teachers to deal with the issues and pressures that educators face. I completed my coursework at the Main Campus in Tempe, beginning my studies in 1999 and graduating in 2002. The instructors were very knowledgeable, caring, and available to assist in any way possible.... Read More

Once I got into my degree program, I was helped every step of the way. I had great professors and mentors. I enjoyed attending classes and learning. I felt like I was learning material that was relevant to my life and to what my future goal was. When it came time to register for the next semester or understand what was the next move, I was always pointed in the right direction. I never felt as if I was taking "filler" classes that were unrelated to my degree. Before I got into my program, I wasn't... Read More

I am blessed to be an ASU alumni, and feeling even more blessed to currently be a part of an ASU graduate program. Teaching is not an easier profession by any means, but ASU's iTeachAZ program made me feel fully prepared to take on my very own classroom, and the many responsibilities that comes with being an educator. Unlike other schools, ASU's teaching program mandates an entire academic year of student teaching. To many this may sound like a complete drag, a waste of time, and unfair when compared... Read More

Arizona State University is an institution that challenges students and effectively prepares individuals for their future careers. I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to attend ASU to receive my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I am now returning to ASU in pursuit of a graduate degree in Educational Technology to continue my education. ASU has helped me tremendously to implement the best plan of study for my future, with available and extremely helpful advisers, professors, and... Read More

Arizona State University provided me with a quality education through experienced and knowledgeable professors. The year long internship with a veteran teacher helped me to become acquainted with the process both teachers and students go through during the school year. I was exposed to multiple situations with both students behavior and student academics which allowed me to change my teaching practices to those best suited to the students sitting in my classroom. I had already obtained a position... Read More

Arizona State University is an amazing experience! It has a lot of programs to offer both academically and extracurricular. The student body is very diverse and you meet people you have a lot in common with all over campus. The students are full of Sun Devil pride and that makes is fun on game days and at events. The professors are well known nationally and hold students to a high standard. I had the greatest 4 year experience at ASU and I encourage anyone to attend and get involved, to have the... Read More

I really enjoyed ASU's iTeachAZ program. It gave me the opportunity to gain quality experience in the field I would be entering and it allowed an adequate amount of hands on instruction. One full year of student teaching really prepared me for my career. It helped to have a mentor for a whole school year to see what the start and finish of a school year would look like. I felt better prepared having a years worth of hands on application versus only getting 15 weeks of hands on experience. my class... Read More

I really enjoyed my time at Arizona State University. I was a part of Barrett, The Honors College there at ASU and i really feel like that gave me a head up in jobs. Many employers mentioned the fact that I was a part of the honors college and liked that. The SDFC is amazing complex is amazing! They have all the equipment and gyms you need. However, the staff at the SDFC are extremely unhelpful and not very professional. My Teachers college program I felt did a pretty good job at preparing me for... Read More
