ASU's anthropology program is outstanding. The breadth of subjects offered, the diversity of the student body, the quality of the professors, and the opportunities for graduate and undergraduate research are all superb. I had a truly excellent experience as an undergrad anthro student at ASU, and my degree directly contributed to getting a full-time job in social services immediately upon graduation. I would definitely recommend this program!
While at ASU I have made many new friends and peers along my journey. The quality of the professors is top notch and actively engaged all students in the class, even if it was a large class size. I feel that ASU really took the time to teach me everything I need to know and even more in the field that I want to base the rest of my life on. 11/10 would recommend.
At ASU, an Economics degree can be awarded through the W. P. Carey School of Business or the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Core Economics classes are only taught by W. P. Carey faculty which is a major plus. I wanted to study Sustainability as an addition to Economics instead of business classes required by W. P. Carey. I am very happy that I got a world class education in Economics while enjoying the freedom of choosing Liberal Arts classes.
ASU really felt like a place that wanted me to succeed. There were endless resources from the career coaches to the program advisor that made sure I was on the right track and taking the right classes to be able to graduate in four years. I actually graduated early utilizing this program. There were tutoring centers all across campus and the faculty all had times during the week where you could go into there office and talk to them one on one which I thought was really cool for the big classes and the online ones. I was very happy with my educational experience at ASU
I thoroughly enjoyed attending Arizona State. I had a wonderful experience with the majority of my classes and professors alike. I currently work as a speech language pathology assistant, and I have been well prepared for it. I was just accepted into a graduate school program and I can enter knowing that I will do well because of my educational background. The only unfortunate thing about the speech department at ASU is their advising. The advisor cost me an extra semester at school and another $2,000 because she made a mistake when helping me plan my schedule. I recognized the mistake and asked her repeatedly if something needed to be changed and she assured me everything was fine. That was until about a month before I was supposed to graduate, I was then informed it was not fine and I had to pay more to stay longer. ASU has a wonderful program, just be wary of the advisement!
I loved attending ASU. The diversity of students and courses offered was a huge draw for me. I loved the hands on opportunities that were provided via research labs and how invested professors are in undergraduates. I was even afforded the opportunity to attend a research conference and publish a paper while undergrad at ASU.
Arizona State University (ASU) is an excellent place to further your education! I received amazing support and really felt cared about as a person in my classess. The school reached out to me multiple times throughout my online education journey: checking up on me, listening to my frustrations and helping me set goals! I am continuing on with (ASU) and am currently enrolled in the doctorate program to become a family nurse practitioner. ASU is fantastic.
If you are looking for an online degree program, this university has a reputable one with many options. However, certain professors are "unprofessional" and the administration within this particular school of the university lacked compassion for their students and seemed unconcerned with student success. There are many reputable online universities these days, don't get caught up in their sales pitch.
Arizona State University is a great school to attend because of its culture and community. There plenty of student groups you can join depending on your interest. The Construction Management program at ASU is one of the best because of its staff and 100% job placement.
I attended Arizona State University and enjoyed my experience tremendously. Arizona State University is one of the largest universities in the country so I had many opportunities to network with other students as well clubs and organizations. I was highly involved in student engagement and was able to plan and organize programs for the student body. ASU is also a highly respected research university, I was able to participate in current research studies as well has conduct my own.
