Ashford University is the Best! - 7/31/2014
Degree: Journalism
Graduation Year: 2014
"I enrolled with Ashford in 2011, and have never regretted the decision. I never had a problem and am surprised by some other's view of the school. From the time of application to completion everything that I experienced in the classes, the work, the faculty and financial department was on point.I graduated in April with a Bachelor of Art Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication with a GPA of 3.48, and am now Studying for my Master of Organization Management. I love it! A couple of things that I would suggest for students looking at online courses is to have good study habits already, because there is no one to partner with as in study buddies unless you know someone already. Additionally, reading is a must, as well as writing skills which is 99% of any college curriculum. Finally, have your financial aid app in before you enroll that way everything will go like clock work. Other than that, expect greatness and greatness is what you will receive."

Mahleah Chicetawn - 9/25/2012
Degree: Journalism
Graduation Year: 2012
"I attended Ashford from 2010 and until 2012. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communications. I made Dean's list every semester. In March I submitted my petition to graduate which was accepted. They took $180.00 out of my account to cover expenses. In July I completed my final class (got an A) and was told that my diploma and a free copy of my official transcript will be sent to me as soon as the grade was posted. It was posted on July 30th. Today is September 25th and I haven't received anything. Calls to my advisor and emails have been ignored. I have 2 weeks until my deadline with the University of Denver for my Master's program.I cannot attend unless they have an official transcript. I can't find a job because I can't prove I have a degree in this field. My unemployment runs out in 2 months. I would like to say I have nothing, but that's not true. I have a $32,000 debt that I have to pay back for a degree I can't prove I have."
