"I would like to give you my perspective of my search for a good college, my experience and where I am now because of Ashford. I have my Bachelors degree in in Health Care. I am currently a retired Physical Therapist. My organization/agency was strongly recommending Masters and Doctorate level pursuits. Since I was towards the end of career as a therapist is was not interested in further my PT Degree but was leaning toward Management. I started with School who claimed to cater to military personal. But during my first class I was deployed for Disaster Relief and could not attend evening classes because we did not have electricity. This school would not consider this as a hardship and I failed the class for attendance at full cost. After a year of searching, still gun-shy from this experience, I found Ashford. I enrolled and began classes. I found the learning and interaction with Faculty and Classmates very stimulating. I finished with my Masters degree and applied for a position as a CEO for Health Care Center, and now I oversee Six Hospitals and several Ambulatory Care facilities. My education through Ashford was a great investment. "

"I completed my MBA at Ashford (for free) and I don't even put it on my resume anymore. I don't care what accreditation they get, their reputation is horrible. I worked there and was disappointed at the level of knowledge the online professors had. I was an IT Manager and professors teaching anything IT was horrible.. You want a degree, go to a state school, its the best advice you will read online today! Don't go to any online school that is for-profit. Its for-profit, they are in it for the money. I am currently a hiring manager and I throw away any resume I see with an online degree. Its absolute garbage. Just stop right now, and go enroll in your local community college and transfer to a state university. Go to your local state university! I cant say it enough. It is not better to have an online degree than nothing at all. I look at resumes without a degree over someone who has an online for-profit degree. Trust me, just stop and go to a state college! Work hard for your degree, that's what shows on your resume. I no longer put my MBA on because it diminishes my resume. I completed my undergrad at a state university, which was much better. Online for-profit University, complete waste of time, money, your efforts, and it makes you look bad on your resume, Trust me!"

"I received a BA degree from here in October 2012. I hear a lot of complaints, but I have had no problems. You have to stay involved with your school work and financial aide. If you put in the work and you will do great. Online courses isn't for everyone. I had to work hard and I am continually working hard. I would recommend this school."
