"Great school so far!! I really didn’t want to write a review like everyone else that just wrote about their personal problems, and not the course material in general. The course is easy to access, and I love the fact that there is an app for the textbook. I also like the fact that you can transfer previous earned credits from other colleges. This is a great course for someone on a budget. The textbook is very detailed, and has lots of possibilities for note taking, and you can create your own flash cards within the textbook app. So far , so good on this program."

"If I could they would get a zero from me. They do not answer emails in a timely manner and sometimes not at all. They have no tutors for bookeeping. When I made an appointment to speak to a tutor, the guy says he is a tutor but he isn't going to help me. I had to make one of their tickets that they never answer. Do not waste your time or money. They do not care. They cant even direct you to a link or video for you to look at."

"My program was a bunch of PowerPoint and PDF files you are supposed to read through and take a test/submit an assignment at the end. This. IS NOT a standard interactive online program. You get what you pay for. Don’t expect to get a quality bookkeeper certificate for $700 when other schools are charging $8-$15,000 for a much similar program. Shop programs before wasting $1 on this garbage. I read through the first class slides, I never took one test or one assignment. I was only able to get less than a 50% refund. Look at a real program through Purdue Global or Bryant Collegr depending on your budget."

"I was a student with Ashworth College in the accounting course. I couldn't complete the course because of serious health issues that had place me in and out of the hospital. Keep in mind that I was away from the accounting course to the limit that I felt that I needed to start completely over to get everything out of the course. I tried to enroll in the accounting course the second week of February. I had the enrollment papers all filled out and I even paid for it in full. I called the student services of why it was taking so long to accept a full payment of the accounting course. I was told that I was not accepted to start the program all over and for me to just pay for the extension of where I left off. I expressed to them the reason that I wanted to start the program over and still they refused. I asked for the journals, ledgers and etc so that I could at least continue on from there since I didn't have that homework paperwork with me. That included the grade project that I didn't have any longer. Still they refused to accept the full payment of the course and for me to continue on from where I left off. They made such a production of this to where I will not take anymore course through them. If they can't help the students like what I went through and asking for help to start the program over again so that I could get the full affect of the course and paid for in full, well, Ashworth College is worth my time nor my dollar. I would recommend to all that are looking for online courses to continue to look elsewhere because Ashworth College is a joke. I have never had this kind of treatment in my life of asking to start a program over and paid for in full. Save your money, look elsewhere. They don't care about the students at all."

"I have tried to get a question answered that has taken me ten days, transferred 12 times, on hold at least 10 to 15 minutes each time I was transferred and the only answer I got in the end was that the workbook that this college gave me was incorrect and it did not supply the practice excel spreadsheets that it said it did. Not one person would let me speak with a supervisor nor could they answer. All they knew how to do was transfer back and forth! And this is not cheap for an online college. I'm so sad I spent this much money that I cannot even have a phone number or email address to get help! I do NOT recommend at all."

"Terrible... the program I was given did not match the program I was given. Faulty emails sent about materials being shipped before I started that never arrived delaying the start to the program. Then to find out I was not getting materials for the first part of the program. Since this was so disorganized and confusing I decided to cancel my program... which apparently got messed up too... Now being charged over $200 to cancel a program I was never able to start onto received materials for. VERY DISSAPOINTED."

"I was attracted to Ashworth online "Basic Accounting" course due to its affordable rate and ability to make monthly payments. The text is good except for a number of typos which led me to open the pandora's box so to speak. The only nice person that I have spoken to is the one who sold me the course. She said everything I want to hear and be inspired. Once I started my studying, I came across multiple issues that I need to call and get help, that's when I start to see their system is so confusing, I got frustrated calling, waiting for a return call, and tried emailing tutors, it has not improved any bit. I received a couple of replies that are blanks, and the rest just didn't address my question instead sent me their nicely scripted correspondence form. Their staff is ill-trained, unfriendly, feisty, rude, and good only with lip service. I will definitely not recommend Ashworth to my friends. I'm one exam to go, and all excited to leave the program not because I'm proud of it."
