"This school is whatever you want to make of it. I decided to give this school a try because it was 100% online and I could work at my own pace. I work full-time and I have a family that takes up a lot of my time. I really like the fact that this school removes a lot of unnecessary fluff that most campus-based schools put you through like P.E. and Art appreciation. I also like the fact that they quickly move you into what you need to know in real life situations. I went to a community college that offered online course work but I didn't learn anything. The coursework consisted of 350 word essays on the theory but no hands on until the last month of class. I paid $650 on 3 textbooks that basically repeated the same information. How many ways do you say PHI is a big deal and EHR are not the same as EMR! At Ashworth college it took me 2 books let's not even talk about my testing fees, pretest, and study guide were included in my tuition. I paid less than $1k and learned more in less time. For all those people complaining about late textbooks and customer service I don't understand how a textbook can be late when you are learning at you own pace. The textbooks get shipped out automatically when you finish your section in the portal and shipping depends on where you live after all you are receiving textbooks by mail and mail is not always fast. Every time I call customer service they are always kind and helpful I find that if you are rude you will get rudeness back. To the person who said they are a strong black woman, I am also a strong black woman which has nothing to do with Ashworth college ability to teach you. Ashworth doesn't give a hoot about your race, creed, gender, or age as long as you are paying them for their service which is to help you be the best you can be! I love this school they helped me to better myself at an affordable price. My next goal is to finish their Psychology degree in which I have already found out I can transfer most of my credits."

"This 'school' is beyond a waste of money, I've been waiting 5 weeks since I completed my last class to receive the text book for the next class. You are more likely to be bitten by a great white shark in the desert than to speak with someone useful when you call customer service. On numerous occasions the answers to the quiz questions have been dead wrong, directly contradicting the CDC. Do not waste your time or money, you'll learn nothing."

"Having three years of direct experience in Healthcare I wanted to further my career as well as my knowledge by going back to school. I was a bit skeptical at first with the thought of going to an online school especially with several colleges out in the market offering diploma mills. After further research and enough positive reviews, I decided to give it a shot. Ashworth is not a Regionally Accredited Institution, it is however Nationally Accredited through the DEAC which is further recognize by the U.S department of Education as a recognized accrediting agency. Despite what other's might think, Ashworth is a reputable organization. The application process was a bit tenuous, I had prior college credits from a traditional brick and mortar university that transferred to Ashworth. However it did take several weeks for Ashworth to evaluate my transcript in order to transfer some of the credits and remove some of the classes that I have already passed. Everything was smooth sailing from there. In conclusion, Ashworth is a pretty good school. It is affordable and convenient for busy adults. I would say that some of the material is out of date. Coming from a Healthcare background while I did learn a lot of new concepts, protocols, and healthcare statistics; Ashworth has a bit of polishing up to do with some of their curriculum. At the end of the day, student's will get in, what they put out. If you are motivated enough to reach a certain goal, no circumstance will impede you from attaining it. All in all, While I did enjoy my time at Ashworth, my next goal is continue my education at an RA school, this is purely out of preference and not to say that one is better than the other."

"This college was great!! The school worked with my schedule at work. You have to study to get the degree, but hard work will pay off when you receive that degree. Graduation was so fun and exciting. The Cobb Centre was awesome. You get to see other classes mates that has study hard and went through some of the challenges you went through was through everything! I do wish everyone would consider Ashworth College."

"This school is not for everyone. You must be a self motivator, and able to concentrate and focus without someone pushing you. (As with all distance learning) I have worked in the healthcare industry for 15 years and wanted to further my education. I work fulltime, have 2 children and am pregnant, so traditional college was not an option for me. For me this program was perfect. I had the flexibility to take classes at my availability, the school accepted all of my transfer credits, and due to life experience I was able to relate to most of the course material. I am continuing my education with this school on to my bachelors degree. I love this school."

"Ashworth was a good choice for me and my schedule. I work full-time, have a family, and needed a more flexible schedule. I was able to work at my own pace. If you study and work hard, then you will not have a problem. I do not believe this school is a scam at all. I had contact with my teachers, and they gave me feedback on all my papers. I you are looking for a prestigious University, this is not the school for you. However, if you are looking for a degree, low cost, and flexibility...this is a great school. I have no complaints."

"I love this College!! I am glad that I didn't get into high debt like most schools; 40k-50k for a Associate's Degree...smh. I paid under 10k!! And I can transfer my credits to a RA University. l recommend this college to my friends, and family. This college is very convenient for the hard working adults."

"I am confused on how people say this is a horrible school. Teachers do communicate (every time I received a grade UNDER a C, I would get an email concerning my grades), I communicated to other students by the magical thing called a student portal BY CLICKING THE STUDENT PORTAL button, I received all rules through the other magical link called the student handbook. Yes, payment options are stretched, yes teachers do not jump on the a train to shove instructions down your throat, and yes, sometimes people in the help department are rude, I have gotten a few before, but mainly nice ones, but that is part of EVERY college. Ashworth is the third college I've attended *(the other two were physical classes -University of Florida and University of Alabama) with different degrees in all three. I just enjoy learning, but with my careers taking off, I went online. The school is incredible. If you check your emails, teachers do try and communicate with students and if you send them an email, you get a response quick, and assignments are due on your OWN TERMS, NOT in ten days! Ashworth is amazing and a wonderful place to learn. I would not mind taking a few more courses with them for another associates. I LOVE to learn! And it being online, some things will be different guys. Stop using your own irresponsibility to complain about others."

"My experience at Ashworth College has been amazing. I needed a college that I could attend that would be affordable, convenient and flexible with my schedule. I work full time so having the ability to work online without being pushed for any deadlines is great. Before Ashworth I attended a local community college in my area for Medical Office Assisting and although my grades were great I was not learning anything. I just learned to pass but, I was not getting the value or having the enjoyment of knowing that I was earning a decent education. I came across Ashworth College and at first I was a bit skeptical because, there are so many online college scams out there and I didn't want this to be another one. I contacted the school by phone and they answered my promply but, I did not like how they tried to push me into the program by bargaining that I could start with as little as $5 or $10 dollars. I mean come on, give people the opportunity to decide first. But, once I started Ashworth College I was amazed at the content, easy access of the web page and it's design. I like how organized the website is, it looks better than most universities and community colleges websites and it is very easy to navigate. What made me decide to attend Ashworth was the value of the program, Ashworth is nationally accredited and some people have a problem with that because it is not regional but nationally is better than regional in my opinion because, this program is useful in more than just one area or state. I started the Medical Office Assistant program and it's not the certificate that make this prgram have value it is the fact that you can become certified with the NHA and that makes this course worth it. I noticed a lot of people complaining about how long it took their books to ship and I always got my within 5-7 business days without a problem or anything. The books are very up to date with the latest Healthcare information and facts and understandable to read. I have learned more through this program than any community college I could have ever attended. Also, I heard people complaining about how they call the school and it takes to long to get a response. I have never had a problem getting a response no matter if I called or sent an email I was always answered directly or within the next day by email. Ashworth College is an awesome opportunity for anyone who is seeking a higher education but, does not want to be filled with the burden of borrowing a substantial loan just to get a quality education. For me this school was affordable and I was able to make monthly payments without borrowing anything or even needing a grant. And it should be because all you are paying for is the books and website content. I'm so glad that I have had the opportunity to attend this school and will continue back in the near future. I highly recommend this school and I hope that they continue to serve their students with a great quality education at an affordable cost."
