"I signed up and completed the HVAC program, although I was satisfied with the course I'm highly dissatisfied with the school as a whole. The system to enroll is easy and fast, to get your certificate is another story. I finished in May and the schools military department still hasn't have me any clear indication on when my payment from the gi bill will be made, so I can receive my certificate. I feel like 5 months time is a bit excessive. The "submit a ticket" thing the school has is a total waste of time. They respond without answering your question and automatically change the status to "resolved." The material was decent, you get it out what you put in. But if you're expecting the schools military department to stay on the VA so you can get your certificate good luck. No certificate, what good is the material when you can't prove you know it."

"I completed three courses of study HVAC, Auto HVAC, and Electrician training. I had a great experience and learned a lot from reading, taking notes, and designing my own training program from the books Ashworth sent me. The only issue I had was a delay in sending my course material for electrician training. At least the institution was cordial enough to send messages that there will be a delay. I received my books a month later. The syllabus tells you how to access and do your courses. A 12 year old can do it. This is a great school and I'm looking forward to taking another course of study, probably Home Inspector this time."

"The only reason I gave it 1 star is because I couldn't choose 0 stars. The school is a total rip off. They charged us $928.00 for a spiral bound notebook when we called for help we were put on hold for 45 min someone came on the line put us on hold n we got disconnected called back was on hold for another 30 min finally gave up. Had to quit attending due to family health and told the lady from Ashworth why, she said she was sorry to hear about that and whenever he was ready to come back just give them a call. Well we just gave them that call and they're saying that conversation never happened they would've told him to cancel the school and charged him $250 they NEVER told us about a cancelation fee they just kept charging him and sending it to collections when I tried to call the school the lady was very ignorant rude and hung up on me"

"I currently graduated from the HVAC program. My company encouraged me to do this, but that's a separate issue. As far as I'm concerned the school doesn't get any stars. A trade occupation cannot be taught online, that needs hands on training. The last 3 weeks of my program getting down to my deadline, I finally got a pop up icon "do you need help". REALLY.... If you need help good luck. The downfalls.... Have no idea who the professor is or even if I had questions, no way of communicating. If you do happen to get ahold of the school it's always a representative. Funny thing is I completed all the assignments, but I was only 93% completed. Couldn't figure out why ?? Come to find out I had a project to do. No emails to alert me. If I hadn't contacted a representative at the school....probably would've failed ?? The final exam, what a way to make a fool out of a person. After a year and a half of this course, trying to figure out this occupation on my own & other technicians coming in to assist & trying to learn from them....I'm to the point I don't even want to go to my job anymore due to poor education. Sure....my administrators & bosses are proud of my accomplishments & the 3.75 GPA. The tests are all open book and get 3 chances to take each test to get a higher score. There's no sense of accomplishment there....that's just lazy on the other end. My opinion to others looking into this school....save yourself the trouble & find a hands on technical school or just jump off a cliff."

Ashworth promised cooperation in getting a degree, then jacked around on the internet so that I was unable to get my courses. Then they suggested I request a refund, which I did but then was told it was too late. This college needs to either become student friendly or quit their promises. Darrel
