"This school sucks they have no one to help you except hope to God you find someone when you call. if you miss the phone call your out of luck cause you have to call back and wait four or so days to get help. I wouldn't tell anyone to go to this school. You are on your own when it come to this school good luck"

"I am currently getting my career diploma in Administrative Assisting and enjoy it very much! I have begun to apply for jobs and have already been turned down for a job, thinking I was only at the entry-level, because I am overly qualified. The career diploma program, as long as you can dedicate time to reading and learning the material, is extremely easy. I am only 16 and on summer break, and I work hard everyday to ensure that I make progress on my studies, therefore, it should be without saying that curriculum is easy to absorb and anyone can do it. Although I can list the positives all day and discuss the low-cost and relatively decent quality of the education, there are some drawbacks. For example, because of the low-cost solution, there was obviously little proofreading of the information and there are some typing errors here and there. The program is also built around a text, and so the curriculum is not very interactive and more inviting to those that like to read, however, every section is similar and that makes the program rather predictive in terms of how long it should take to complete. I must say, however, employers still respect my diploma and I plan on continuing to further my education with them which will enable me to work at higher level jobs in college. I hope my review helps!"

Angry in California - 5/28/2015
Degree: Pharmacy Technician
Graduation Year: 2015
"So Ashworth decided to change their Pharmacy Tech program in Nov 2014, 2 months after I started my program. This change, thus affected their accreditation, which effected the licensing requirements in several states. Long story short, I wasted $ and time. They never notified me that they changed their curriculum. I found out when I asked them to complete my certification form on my CA licensing application, that's when they notified me that their program is 1) no longer accredited, and 2) didn't satisfy the minimum academic threshold for CA. Wtf? Really? Not to mention when calling there all extremely rude and unprofessional!!"

Disappointed... - 5/18/2015

"I just want to start off saying I do not recommend this school to any of my friends or family and it is your choice if you decide to go to school. I also want to say the beat of my own opinion. I took online classes in which they never taught you how to look for anything you had to figure it out on your own.their customer service in the financial part is rude, expecially their supervisor Marley. She will talk over you and hang up on you constantly. they also tell you they will set up a payment plan that works best for you and they won't. one person will say one thing in customer service and then when you call back to confirm it it's another thing. overall the experience of there syllabus and the schooling itself was not a very good quality my personal opinion. I actually had to go to another school to finish out my degree. like I said this is my own personal review."

Graduation Year: 2016
"I have been studying with Ashworth College since 2012 and I have been happier than I ever been at any school. I love that you can study at home at your own time and that the tuition is affordable. I have learned a lot more at this school than at any other school I have attended and have done well here too. Customer Service is good too, they have always worked with me to make it to where I can afford the tuition payments and any problem I have had they have always corrected. No problems. I would recommend Ashworth to anyone and already have. I mean paying only a fraction of what tuitions at other schools are and studying at your own time at your own pace is a real oppurtunity to eat your cake and have it too (Watch Mary Kate Olsen on Holiday In The Sun if you think I got the saying wrong) . I got some advice, before signing up make sure you read EVERYTHING on the site including the small print. Know what you are getting into and make sure it is exactly what you want before making a commitment. Also follow the guidelines. Make your payments on time, and just because the exams are open book you STILL have to study for them because the tests are timed and its a part of life to study for tests anyway. Follow all directions when you do your assignments and if you need help Ashworth has tutors you can contact. And no tutor can do the assignment for you or tell you the answers to an exam. Everyone knows that is cheating. Ashworth also has their accreditation listed and as for transferring credits to another college that is more up to the institution you are wanting to go to than it is the degree itself or Ashworth. Just because one school won't accept Ashworth does not mean every school won't. Each institution has certain policies when accepting credits. Even regionally accredited credits are not always accepted by some schools. There are tons of schools that will accept Ashworth, you just have to google them and do your research. And also if you want the staff at Ashworth to be nice to you, BE NICE TO THEM. Do not use curse words, or be rude, or shout or post on their community that they are a scam. If you ever worked in customer service you know that that behavior alone is enough to put you in a bad mood. And if you are angry cause you can't get your degree until your tuition is paid off be lucky that they even let you study while still owing your tuition because most schools and mainly traditional schools won't even let you attend until you paid your tuition. Pay your payments ON TIME. The due date is right there when you log into your student portal."

"I am appalled at the negative reviews about this school. I went to this school for 3 different certifications and each time I have NEVER had a problem with anything!!!!! I am now going using my military Spousal benefits and again no issue. I love this school Its good and its true and the credits are transferrable as I was attending Clayton State but due to life events I had to withdraw. And that's what I love with this school it is at your own pace and online so no matter what is happening in your life you can still get your degree. Plus they let me choose a variety of certificate programs because I'm not sure what Degree plan I want to go for. And the school is beyond affordable. My first certificates I came out of pocket and did the payment plan received my diploma in the mail as told I would."

"I absolutely loved getting my degree from Ashworth college. I started my studies in their local community college and finished at ashworth. They easily transferred my credits and it was affordable. I was a single mom of 3 small children at their time and then fact that I could study at home with no commute was priceless. I prefer to learn on my own which I did by reading them curriculum they sent me and took online tests with them help of the local librarian who served as a proctor over me. It was easy to understand, simple to achieve and was void of any distractions that is evident in typical college experience. I have worked as a teacher for over 10 yes now and am so glad I earned my degree at Ashworth. I also do Nursing now which I learned back in high school in a technical program. I am possibly considering registering again st Ashworth to further my skills in physical or occupational therapy aide. They will transfer any credits I previously a achieved that apply and give me a huge discount for being a returning student."

"I was for the most part happy with my experience at Ashworth College .The last two years was the best. The first two years were not great. Many years ago I had to wait about two or three weeks for a course to be shipped and I couldn't move on until my paper was graded. But presently they have made improvements that are much better than years ago."
