Degree: Finance
Graduation Year: 2019

I keep seeing bad reviews but some of ya'll aren't reviewing the course. Your reviewing the customer service people on the phone, or the fact that you didn't pay. Or that you say you paid but don't have the receipt. Ok thats not a review. So I would like to review the actual degree program which I am almost done with. Each part of your program will include lessons and assignments. Youre responsible for completing all of your lessons and assignments in full, in the order in which theyre listed Reading sections of the textbook and answering questions about the material. Reviewing lesson material provided by the instructor and summarizing the content. Accessing outside resources, such as videos, articles, or other material, and taking notes or answering questions about the subject matter. Completing self-study questions or defining vocabulary words. Submitting special projects. Some of ya'll haven't done any of this and are bad reviewing Ashworth for a phone call that went "wrong". Thats not the schools fault. Some of you don't like the online ebooks. You want textbooks. Ok those COST ALOT. So Ashworth has provided a way to give you an inexpensive education. You cant have your cake and eat it too. I have found this IF YOU DO IT COMPLETELY to be a great Finance course. I got professionally certified and got a job. If you say your job wouldn't take your diploma your lying. If your not lying get it on camera and sue them.. see you can't cuz your lying.

Degree: Medical Transcription/Transcriptionist
Graduation Year: 2018

I took the medical transcription course. The reasons I do not recommend this college are the following: 1. Outdated materials. I was sent a medical dictionary from 1998. There is a program that is mentioned throughout the book, and I spent a lot of time trying to get it to work, only to find out that I didnt need it, though it probably would have worked with the foot pedal they sent. 2. Instructors dont have any contact information so I couldnt email and ask questions. I had to rely on representatives (they were nice) for that program issue previously mentioned. The ticket system is useless. It would take over a week to get a response and even then, it was absolutely no help. Theyd always say there wasnt enough information but wouldnt ask for it and close the ticket, saying the matter was resolved. Id have to figure things out for myself. I also sent an email AGES ago that still hasnt been responded to. 3. The quizzes were simple and hardly covered any of the material in the book. They didnt quiz on actual transcription, just medical information. There was no transcription practice anywhere that could be graded by an instructor and handed in. They provided exercises and the answers but I would have liked to have been able to contact a professor with any questions I had. So I had to figure out the final project by myself, which the foot pedal would have helped with but it wouldnt work, so I had to do everything manually. 4. Theyre holding my certificate hostage until everything is paid in full, so until then, I have to settle for a letter of completion. I completed the certification with a 4.00, spent countless nights studying and reading until 2-3am knowing I would have to wake up at 7-8am for my kid. I would like to have something to show for it other than a letter of completion. All in all, if I could give this college a negative, I would. Do not recommend one bit.

Degree: Floral Design
Graduation Year: 2017

This place is a huge scam! They tell you one thing and do the complete opposite. Never send you supplies or books you pay for then keep wanting more and more money from you. Student services is a joke. I called to ask a few questions about some accounting issues and I was literally called a liar and told that I was making things up and did not know what I was talking about. I would not recommend to anyone.

Degree: Early Childhood Education
Graduation Year: 2006

I earned my degree in 2006 with 3 young children and 1 toddler at home (homeschooling) and managing a home business. After raising my children, I re-enrolled in 2017 to continue my education for a Bachelors Degree in Business Admin. I have not had any issues or problems at all! The student portal is easy to learn and use. On the rare occasion that I had to call in to Student Services, I was treated with respect and the service has always been great! I already have a job that I enjoy utilizing the knowledge that I have learned. I'm excited to complete my 2nd degree with Ashworth College! #ClassOf2006and2019 Thank You Ashworth!

Degree: Sterile Processing Technology/Technician
Graduation Year: 2019

Some of the reviews about the college you just can't listen to or believe. Saying a phone operator from the school was rude, is NOT reviewing the course. It is reviewing a person in a call center. That is not a review of the school. If you have criticism about your courses, the lessons, or computer stuff, that would seem to be more productive. You get out what you put into this.

Degree: Medical Transcription/Transcriptionist
Graduation Year: 2018

I do not recommend this school to anyone. 1. The instructors dont have their emails for contact anywhere so I wasnt able to ask them for any assistance with anything. I had to rely on representatives. The ticket system they have is useless. Instead of asking for the missing information that they need, they close the ticket and say the matter was resolved. I sent an email about two months ago that has still not been replied to. Not that it matters anymore. 2. The material is outdated. I was sent a dictionary from 1998. There are programs mentioned in the textbook that are no longer needed to get the work done, so I wasted a good amount of time trying to download it and get it to work. 3. Now that Ive completed the certification, I have to wait for the certificate until everything isnt paid in full, which to me makes no sense. I completed it, doesnt mean Im gonna stop paying it. So if you think youre gonna get your certificate soon after completing it, not gonna happen. I finished this certification with minimal to no help from the actual instructors.

Degree: Criminal Justice
Graduation Year: 2020

Called before enrolling asked if the school is regionally acredited! The reapresentative said yes ( lied) ! Signed up and started my online classes! Found out I was lied too and they are not regionally acredited! I spoke with student advisor and he accepted my cancellation! He said I would receive email of cancellation and get my money back in 7-14 business days ! Im still waiting for my cancellation email! Each one of the reps I spoke with lied to me! I do not recommend it!

Graduation Year: 2018

From their Vice President to their Customer Service Reps this college is extremely unprofessional. There have been numerous issues with courses, transcripts being evaluated, waiting too long to have assignments graded, books on back-order, quizzes within the courses not having the same information as in the book and just overall confusion and madness. I am surprised this college is even still running! I neglected to mention how I have never been able to get a tutor. It always sends me back to the recorded greeting. Terrible college. The only good aspect is the price.

Degree: Healthcare Management
Graduation Year: 2018

I can't believe the time wasted on all the tests and assignments completed and yet, I need a proctor to babysit me taking a final exam. I found out when I completed that I needed proctoring and they have to review it. The person on the phone was sarcastic when I mentioned on being unaware. Everyone writing a review studied and devoted time and money to this school! It's only a certificate program! I don't understand the reasoning for a proctor when I'm an adult taking a certificate program! Well, lost money and lots and lots of time and hard research all wasted.
