"If you plan to do a short certificate program I would recommend Ashworth, However a long term degree program they are completely useless. Barely any useful customer service, advisors do not keep you up to date and the learning material does not match the test questions most of the time."

"I have been calling ashworth and the va since July when I finished my classes. It has been 4 months now and I still don't have my certification ?.When I call the VA they say the only thing they have received from ashworth is my application to enroll, when I call ashworth they will get it submitted. I'm so tired of the run around I'm starting to wonder if this school is a total joke and I wasted my time."

"Taking courses online at my own leisure was great, however, I’ve been done the class for months now and can’t find a job. Everyone wants 2 years experience. I can’t get the experience if no one will let me. Basically waisted money getting this certification."

"Communication is horrible. Misinformed and ignored. Sent a "ticket" on Oct 5 and 6 that required a response. It is Oct 14 and I still haven't heard from them. They contact you several times a day when they want you to sign up, but after that, you're on your own. There is a community board where other students can assist you but they blocked me from using the board. Stay away from this school. I'm finding there are others that will assist you after you sign on the dotted line. I've completed 4% of the course (which was just an intro to studying) and I cancelled and now they want $625 from me. This after I can't communicate with anyone for over a week. And when I called to cancel, they hung up on me. Unbelievable"

"This is the worst school ever. None of the quizes or exams match the reading material at all, in any class. I had one class go under review and never got any results from it, they told me just continue on. How am I supposed to do that when that is the class I need. They make you have a proctor for your semester exams which is the dumbest thing ever. I have been to a few schools and never had to deal with a proctor or a semester exam. When the class is done, that's it, you move on. I dropped out and will never return. Plus they don't accept any money from any financial aid, they refuse FASFA totally and the GI Bill, that's not legal but they get away with it. I would strongly recommend a different school. Go to a school that cares and will take financial aid."

"I paid the down payment. I did all of the orientation. The shipment notification said "Item on backorder" I called a couple times. They assured me my materials were on the way. Two weeks after a 100% score on the orientation test I call again because now the shipment notification says "2 items backordered." The first person I talk to says "You need to finish the first lesson." The second person tells me that her system shows everything as shipped. I waited another week and called back. I cancelled my account and requested a refund which was granted. The materials did show up. The tracking system showed it was shipped after I cancelled. I refused the package and it was returned unopened. It feels like this school is a mix of honest people that don't plan well and a few that just want your next payment."

"This school is a complete rip off. I am military it is supposed to be at your own pace. It is not they charge you a fee if you don`t finish in a certain amout of time. I paid for a full semester decided to cancel they will not refund any of the money. They are liars and completely rip off people. I wouldn`t recommend giving your money to this school."
Shouldn't of done this!

"I did not graduate. However, this system wouldn't let me put zeroes or that I didn't graduate so I just put in the year 2000 as an answer. So here's the problem: Ashworth is showing I have 5 or 6 different accounts from all the way back to early 2000's. I inquired about 2 programs and was filling out the paperwork online but did not complete the process and never received access to all but 2 of those accounts so I never even took one class. They're charging me thousands of dollars for each individual account now. I tried calling them but the rep was rude and not at all helpful. I asked for anyone else to speak to and was refused. They would not allow me to speak to anyone else, claiming I needed to speak to a supervisor, and that person has 72 hours to return a call. Yeah, I would not recommend these people to anyone! Avoid this so called "helpful" college!"
I'm liking it so far

"I'm sort of shocked at the other reviews about Ashworth. I actually really like the plumbing program and I can't wait to start the HVACR and Electrical Classes. Paying for everything is really easy and inexpensive and I think the syllabus is very organized. Ashworth is accredited but It really depends what you take and what type of degree it is. Being a Trade Its really easy for it to "count" when transferring. When your doing something in Law or Medicine it might be shady on what is considered "Accredited". The only downfall is the Instructor is bad at getting back to you but I have had a much worse experience with that in a face to face class."

"Very poor educational structure. I was in a Admin of Justice program. I had PTSD. They were notified and accepted I would be our for a period of time. Only condition was if it was to long I would be responsible for the fee to reactivate account. They would not have issues as long as doctor would provide notice. All notice and medical records sent. I have intervals of PTSD, so I start the course notify them when I need time and pay the fee. Last time I login and was told to call their number. Nasty lady pretends she has to discuss with her manager who says Its a problem to keep enrolling me. I am protected by Disability law and discrimination for PTSD. Tells me to apply next year, puff, my 1000 dollars are gone, never got the damn book , only saw a outdated pdf and then was told I could restart by resending all inforamtion and paying new fee. Told her the agreement for PTSD was this and that. Would not honor. Case closed account closed money taken and no further responses."
