Degree: Landscape Design
Graduation Year: 2018

I am currently enrolled in Ashworth College and very unhappy with the difference in what I was told before enrolling and what I have experienced. After completing my first course, I was very excited to get started on the second course. Unfortunately, the books were back ordered. I looked up the book on Amazon and it was a reasonable price so I went ahead and ordered it. I have now completed that course and still haven't received the book from the college. Now, I'm ready to start the third course and again, they say the books are back ordered and offer no assistance. Since my current job is expected to lose funding in a few months, I was hoping to jump start a new career and was very excited about this opportunity. Unfortunately, Ashworth has left much to be desired.

Degree: Criminal Justice
Graduation Year: 2016

I graduated in 2016 with my Associates in Criminal Justice from Ashworth. The degree granted me contract PFC with the United States Marine Corps, so I began studies for my Bachelors in 2017 while enlisted. It's cheap and recognized through the Department of Education, which is honestly the most important thing to employers these days. If you grew up in a poor family like me and you and your family never had enough money to send you to college, Ashworth is an amazing opportunity to get a quality degree at an affordable price. I've honestly learned a lot just by teaching myself online.

Degree: Business Administration, Management and Operations, Other
Graduation Year: 2018

My experience at Ashworth is going great! At first, it took me a little while to get started as I working on multiple academic programs. I personally believe my undergraduate certificate will be a priceless asset for me in conjunction with my other credentials. As others mentioned, the work is understandable but dedicated study is a must! Post completion of the program, I am looking forwarding to receiving my undergraduate certificate in the mail. Thank you Lord for allowing me get through this process!

Degree: Medical Billing & Coding
Graduation Year: 2017

First of all I did not even enroll. I wanted to get my Medical Bill and Coding Certificate here. At the time the enrollment fee was at a discount, which did show an expiration. I decided I would need to make my decision soon if I wanted to take advantage of this offer. Well unfortunately I was seeing the previous weeks pricing which was lower. After debating on the phone with two different ladies I decided this situation sounds sketchy. Overall poor customer service led to them not getting any of my money. Then, after further investigation its apparent that others have had service issues and especially text book and class material issues....on to a more legitimate college even if it costs more $$$

Degree: Educational Leadership
Graduation Year: 2017

I did not find that this school met my educational needs Didn't feel like the support was really there I could've done a lot better with my investment of time and money. I am a strong, proud, black woman and I am extremely unimpressed with the experience I had with this online university.

Degree: Gunsmithing
Graduation Year: 2018

I really enjoyed my course work at Ashworth. The information and online learning was easy to fit into my busy calendar. As in other reviews it sometimes was slow to receive books, but I never waited more than a week. The books provided along with the online test is a great to earn a degree fairly quickly. The course is in no way "easy"...you do have to read a lot and study in order to learn (like with any school). Education is what you make of it, and I am really happy with the experience.

Degree: Home Inspector
Graduation Year: 2017

Material took awhile to arrive but was ok and the course was interesting. However I received feedback that was full of grammatical and spelling mistakes and hardly comprehensible. I can only assume the person who reviewed my assignment was a non English speaker and barely literate!

Degree: Business Administration
Graduation Year: 2016

The Bachelor's in BA Degree program was excellent in regard to the depth of knowledge that is taught for the price of tuition. It's 100% on-line courses, so you have to be self-motivated (and somewhat self-sufficient) to be able to get the most out of the program. I worked my way through the complete program and earned my degree in about 4 1/2 years; all while working a full time job the entire time. It took a lot of work (and you pretty much have to say good bye to your leisure time for 4+ years), but it definitely can be done. I never had any of the issues that some of the other reviewers mentioned regarding late book arrivals, etc. Maybe I just got lucky; but regardless, my experience with Ashworth was quite good.

Degree: Graphic Design
Graduation Year: 2018

Save your time and money and do not enroll in this college. They advertise that you can get diplomas in 4 months but their books will forever be in back order and you will be left with nothing but waiting for months. The only time their helpline representatives (the only point of contact of this college) speak to you nicely is while you are enrolling. After that, with any problem you call theyr'e as clueless and helpless as you are. I wasted my time and money, at least you save yours and run away!

Degree: E-Commerce/Electronic Commerce
Graduation Year: 2017

Paper grading was quite slow. Tutoring was very busy and did not have enough knowledgeable staff to fill the demand. For my program you could only do one course at a time, so not all courses were open for studying at once. Ashworth would send time consuming courses like math and statistics at the beginning of a semester; however, since you can only do one course at a time until your at least half complete the next course did not get to you for a while. Then when you finally finished all the other classes for a semester (5 total), then you have a final to take and it could be a year or two later from the first courses. So you have to spend months studying up on the first courses again. This is very archaic and not in alignment with how universities work on classes with their students as normally it is 4-5 courses simultaneously. So, you retain the information better and are much more prepared for a smaller time frame of final studying at the end. I would not recommend this online school. It would be much better to pick a normal university that offers the class structures as are normal with today's universities.
