"I cannot express how upset I am right now with this university. First, all my instructors, save one, put high emphasis on the minimum word requirement for the discussion board. Sometimes the subject is so dry writing 400 words about it is almost incomprehensible and it has gotten to the point that I feel the instructors enjoy treating students like errant children. Today, though, I received feedback on my discussion. She critiqued it, though that wasn't what bothered me. She went way over the top gushing about another student, using words like "glorious", and "hot". It made me feel utterly defeated. Not an uncommon feeling when dealing with these instructors. I've asked for clarification on topics before and had the instructors copy and paste the original instructions in my email. How is that helpful??? I have to agree to the prior statement that the amount of work is way out there. I'm more than halfway through this course, have a 4.0 GPA and am. Now I'm considering the whole thing a waste of time and money. I have never felt so beaten down in my life. Thank you Aspen University, the one thing you should know is that a piece of paper does not make a good instructor. They have been universally poor. If it wasn't for me working so hard, I would be getting nothing from them."

"I did it! I just graduated from my BSN at aspen! What a trip. I love this school and especially my advisor, Jessica. I couldn't have done this without her. The BSN Dean Jenny E. is amazing and all my professors rocked! Class of 2017 baby!!!"

"I chose the Aspen program for two reasons: affordability, and on recommendation from many of my co-workers, who are completing BSN and MSN level degrees. I was very surprised at the high quality of of the educational material and instruction that I received. This was not an easy task, the work load can be intense, but nothing in life worth working for should just be handed to you...and this was definitely work...and definitely worth the time and investment. I looked at other online universities for a few years but was always dismayed by the bankrupting tuition and fees they wanted to charge for basically being diploma mills, this is not the case with Aspen University. I never encountered any issues with contacting my instructors or academic advisors, and cannot sing their praises highly enough! To graduate with a 4.0 in this program kicked my butt, and I am all the better for it!"

"So much busy work! The length and amount of formal papers and discussions in 8 weeks far outweighs the amount in a 5 week course from comparable online programs. Twice the amount of time and work! After writing all 8 formal papers, be prepared for ANOTHER formal 1000 word essay summarizing the course! My advisor was extremely defensive when I had a concern about an instructor that gave me a poor grade after not answering my question prior to submitting the assignment. The writing class was much more beneficial than I expected, and the professor was amazing. Be ready to put in A LOT of time! The payment plan and cost are a bonus!"

"Great way to earn your degree, while still working full time! My Professors were very helpful and gave insight every step of the way! I have recommended their program to two coworkers who are now taking classes towards their BSN. I wanted to have new doors open for me when I graduated, and they have! Grateful for the experience!"

"I am in the RN to BSN online program. I like the program, but am disappointed that my advisor never returns my request to talk about issues I am having. The instructor I have does not allow me to submit work early it seems that they are inflexible. I paid my tuition I should be allowed to submit work early"

"I have been enrolled at Aspen University from FEB 2015 and will graduate Summer 2017 with a BSN. I could not be more pleased with every aspect of my nursing program. It is hard work. You must be intelligent, motivated, and a self-starter to experience the benefit of a well-rounded educational experience. On-line learning is much more challenging than the classroom setting. If you are not willing to put in at least 20 hours per week, per course, then don't waste your time or money. The work is rigorous. We have excellent instructors who are responsive and treat students with respect. I recommend Aspen University to all my not expect the program to be a cake-walk; it is NOT! I have a 4.0 GPA, and I have worked for it. I am a high achiever, and I chose Aspen over many different educational venues. I do not regret my choice!"

"Aspen has a great Nursing bridge program. If you are a RN wanting or needing to obtain your BSN you can complete it with 10 just classes! I already has 120 credits which was more than necessary to get into their program. I have been a critical care RN for 20 years and find the program very pertinent to current nursing topics and practice! Lots of research and writing APA formatted papers....not difficult, but it is time consuming if you put in the work."
