This was my first online learning experience and I was surprised at how much I've learned during this program. Instructors are approachable and encouraging. The online availability was the reason I chose Aspen. The flexibility allowed me to work full-time while completing my degree. Another bonus is that they will finance with no interest. This is unheard of in Canada where I live. I am very satisfied with my overall experience and recommend anyone else who is thinking about advancing their education... Read More

Aspen University has allowed me to pursue my lifelong journey of education in nursing by enabling me to complete online courses at a time that worked for me to obtain my MSN in administration and leadership. An MSN was a benchmark for excellence and my personal growth, as I can now pursue other jobs that value my competence. My practicum and capstone experience faculty members challenged me to be the change agent, step outside my comfort zone, and use the skills and knowledge acquired to create innovations... Read More

I'm so glad I chose Aspen University to complete my Master's Degree in Nursing. The MSN online program is very flexible that it allowed me to continue to work full time, take care of my family, and complete my degree. The instructors were very knowledgeable and willing to guide me as a student and reminded me of having work-school-life balance. I'm so appreciative of the wealth of knowledge I gained. Thank you!

This has been a great experience overall. This was my third attempting to complete my master's degree. No other program fit into my busy day to day life. Aspen was the exception to the norm. I was able to complete the program during COVID and the instructors were very responsive to my concerns. The only hiccup during the entire process was the accreditation delay. I was delayed by 8 weeks which pushed my graduation past the scheduled date. I was very disappointed but not deterred. Thanks for a meaningful... Read More

I have just completed the RN Bridge to MSN program at Aspen University after 4 years. Earning my MSN degree from Aspen University has been well deserved. Taking one class at a time while continuing to work as a clinical manager, this program was very doable for me even financially. I am appreciative of all of my instructors. They were available and responded to my emails and calls whenever I needed assistance (sometimes at 10pm). As with everything in life there will be pros and cons and Aspen University... Read More

This school has been a blessing for me. Taking courses at my pace and enrolling to a course when ready because they offer classes every two weeks. I have been able to work a full time job and take two classes comfortably. Teachers are so helpful and they care about how well you progress. My experience was smooth and uncomplicated at Aspen university. I complete my Masters in Science in nursing specialization in administration. I am looking forward to the doctorate program in nursing just waiting... Read More

Aspen University is very military friendly and the MSN degree I obtained was online with classes every 8 weeks so it was easy to take a brief break between classes if needed due to military lifestyle. It is an affordable tuition and works with the GI bill entitled members well.

I had a great experience at Aspen, earning a MSN in education. There are complaints of it not being regionally accredited, however, the school lists it's accreditations, so it shouldn't be a surprise. The price is excellent, the flexibility of not being in a cohort and having multiple start dates of each class to choose from works really well. I liked that each class was structured the same. It made it much easier to move from class to class. For working full time and wanting to get a higher level... Read More

I do not recommend this school or its MSN programs. I should have trusted my gut early in the program and left but the low cost kept me enrolled. The program was very "cookie cutter" and I did not feel that the instructors were utilized appropriately. I did complete 10 of the 12 required courses but could not find a preceptor for the practicum course due to lack of agreement between the organization and Aspen, lack of regional accreditation, and/or Covid restrictions. When I contacted the practicum... Read More

Aspen University has provided the way for me to obtain my Master's of Nursing Degree with as little disruption to my work-life as possible. Completing the classes online was beneficial for me in that it fit with my schedule and work/home life balance. The cost of the education could not be matched. It does require you to be a highly motivated learner and to be able to be self-directed. As long as you have a high work ethic, you will greatly add to your knowledge during the Master's classes and learn... Read More

The biggest concern I have is the final exam. The platform when writing was not working appropriately. Into my third paragraph the formatting was off. It showed and extra letter that was not there and so when you tried to correct spelling the cursor was never in the right spot. It took me about 45 minutes during the allotted 4 hrs to figure out how to correct things. The formatting never was correct again. I literally cried at how frustrating it was. There was no way to change any of my thoughts... Read More

Excellent experience from start to finish. Classes were appropriate and aligned with the Core competencies required of a masters prepared nurse. Instructors were knowledgeable and contributed to the learning environment. Very supportive faculty and advisors. Monthly check ins by advisor very helpful and appreciated. Any and all questions answered from online content or by Aspen staff. I would highly recommend Aspen for any nurse pursuing a higher degree!

I have just completed my MSN, and I feel like I earned the degree. There are several advantages to Aspen University - cost is very reasonable, and students can make payments without interest every month. This removes a barrier for many students and provides a huge benefit to working nurses. Aspen also offers a very decent military discount. The courses use current textbooks and have assignments that are relevant and evidence-based. Be prepared to buy books and keep them until you complete the program... Read More

Books used were sometimes 2 issues outdated. Teachers did not always respond in a quick fashion so you can make necessary changes before your next assignment was due. Need to have at least some face to face Zoom time with your instructor each class you take. During COVID pandemic, Nursing Practicum advisor was not very helpful in helping me understand how things would work. There needs to be a section that students can upload there final practicum paper into for upcoming students to view. I feel... Read More

My experience with Aspen has been phenomenal. First, all my professors have doctorate degrees. Next, they want us all to succeed, so they will find ways to keep us motivated and inspired. Drs Spears, Mc-Dermotth, Kolde, Anderson, Gaw, and Nethers were some of the professors that played a huge impact in my capstone project's success. Finally, Apsen does an outstanding job at emphasizing the use of evidence-based practice to influence the changes at work because it yielded several positive results... Read More
