"I am only satisfied in that I graduated and became a nurse but it was not through great instruction from the school. Anyone thinking of going here needs to consider what they are getting into. They make it sound all wonderful and how supportive they are....all lies. They lie to you every step of the way, do crap to help you and instead blow you off. They love to change rules depending on how it fits them and yet the students are expected to just do it even if it doesn't follow protocol. You basically learn on your own, get no help, no direction mainly because the professors don't know either. There are a couple of good instructors there but they are adjunct. The full time (with exception of one) are horrible...they will not work with you if you experience a problem but will fail you in a second. Extremely unprofessional, charge for classes you don't need and do not add to learning but sure put 200% I. When it gets close to graduation because they are so worried about their NCLEX pass rate but could care less in the previous 18 months. You may have to wait longer but if you want a quality education....don't go here!!!"

"This was my first time doing an online program. I will say that I am quite surprised that the program overall was relatively fast. This program took a little less than two years with a full time job as a CCRN. I did Masters of Nursing with a specialty in informatics. Worth it 100%. Pros: The professors were all great and reasonable! Granted I slacked on some of the assignments and got a B, but it I still graduated with honors. Price is key! A school that is CCNE verified and well under $15,000 for the whole program did it for me. Cons: Finding your own preceptor. Despite finding your own preceptor, the experience made it worth while because it helped in the capstone project."

"I enjoyed taking courses and the Master's of Nursing program. I have learned a lot in each course and found the professors attentive and professional. I work full time and found it easy to fit one course at a time into my schedule. The open enrollment process with courses starting every two weeks worked well. The majority of the courses had their assignments posted for the entire session, allowing me to start the next week's assignment if I knew personal obligations would affect the time needed to devote to the class. I have told others of your program and will continue to do so."

"I would highly recommend it. One can take the class at your own pace. I learned a lot that will help in the enhancement of both one’s professional and personal growth. The writing and critical thinking skills will improve a lot. If you are a person who likes to do research work, Aspen University is the right place. Thank you."

"Aspen University helped me accomplish a life goal. I was both able to afford the tuition and study at my own pace thanks to the online format. The instructors were excellent, teaching not only course content but scholarly writing as well. I work full-time and am raising a grand-daughter, so the flexibility was a considerable draw. I am happy to report two of my peers are now attending Aspen University. I highly recommend and hope to continue my studies at Aspen."

"My decision to go back to school since graduating from nursing school 19 years ago was daunting. But the academic advisors, the professors and my family give me the support I needed to complete this journey. However, I will say if you don’t like writing essays or is not willing to sacrifice hours to commit to your school work, then please reconsider. Obtaining a MSN is both challenging and rewarding. Through this process I a became professional nurse."

"Aspen is a great place to attend online education while working and living life. The academic layout is conducive to a positive work-life-education balance. It is 100% online and the academic advisors are always there to help. Payment plan is also easy and affordable."

"I am writing this in the hopes that no working nurse will attend this school. This school is not practical for a working nurse and if you have a family do not even look at this school. I have learned absolutely nothing and the course work is ridiculously time consuming. It is all busy work. Please nurses save yourself the headache and do not attend this school. I am an A student and have throughout all of the courses but at the cost of my family who I have had to neglect in order to satisfy the course requirements."

"Aspen University has been a great experience so far. All of my professors have doctoral degrees and are easy to communicate with via email. The curriculum is clearly presented as are the expectations. I can easily get answers from my mentor, who has always been available when I call Aspen directly; on issues regarding payments, retrieving past papers, how to utilize the resources available in the library, etc. This program is not for someone that is hoping to get an easy degree without putting in the time and work required. Yes, you write a lot of APA papers, but this is not necessarily a bad thing as you will need to know what what you are doing when you start grading your own student's APA papers someday!"
