Vary poor administrative and technical support for online learning...online program difficult to utilize......and professor demonstrated total lack of concern toward correcting my ignorance throughout his ongoing responses to my discussion posts. Posts for which I received 100 consistently. He was derelict in not pointing out I was not completing the weekly assignments throughout the entire 8 week course. I unknowingly.did not submit required assignments never.realuzing there were subtopics required....it... Read More took a phone call from an adviser at the end of the course to point out I had not fulfilled coure requirements throughout the 8 week session ..I refuted such as received 100 on all my submitted posts and was amazed, could not believe it when she went into the class program and opened up a column headed content..and there were. by week, listed assignments I wS not privy to, had not completed, nor submitted. Unsettling and dismayed and embarrassing to say the least. The advisor was also troubled that the professor had had ample opportunity to share with me my lack of assigned submissions and had refrained from doing so..thus i had not fulfilled weekly requirements of the course. As stated, never. never addressed during entire 8 week course by professor. The advisor did not identify until one week prior to ed of course via an email which I did not receive due to holidays. So all in all a very embarrassing situation especially for a 3.9 GPA from Vanderbilt. The issue was i had not received adequate orientation of the online teaching program and was unaware of a listing of weekly assignments for a course in addition to completed posts. i cannot recommend their program...it is great in cost and time frame...provides no technical support period nor on line leaning program support as well. My experience so disappointing I withdrew from program. So embarrassing... May I add. do not expect committed professors either. One remark to me when I wrote more than 250 words in a post was he had 60 other students so be sensitive of his work load.

The program structure is great; however, the professors in the program are not professional. If you seek a degree higher than your BA, I highly recommend that you try a different institution because if you have any questions, they will not be answered on time or before assignments are due. Some professors won't even reply to the emails. That was my experience while in the program. I emailed them again, and still no response; I had to contact the Academic advising manager, who then helped me contact the director of the program to even get an answer as to why the professors were acting like children. After TWO Months, I finally got a response from someone stating that the professor "did not feel comfortable making a recommendation" when all the professor had to do was send a quick email saying just that so I can seek a different professor. The only reason I had asked that professor was because she did my capstone project, and she was the professor in many of my courses during my degree.

I am writing this in the hopes that no working nurse will attend this school. This school is not practical for a working nurse and if you have a family do not even look at this school. I have learned absolutely nothing and the course work is ridiculously time consuming. It is all busy work. Please nurses save yourself the headache and do not attend this school. I am an A student and have throughout all of the courses but at the cost of my family who I have had to neglect in order to satisfy the course... Read More requirements.

My experience at Aspen University was great. The courses are structured to help students acquire knowledge and be able to apply it to their current practice. Courses with practical aspect are made easy with lay down instructions on how to carry them out. These practical courses made it possible for me to engage with my community in ways I have not done before. The instructors and other administrative staff were absolutely great. My overall experience was great and I will definitely recommend the university to other potential students.

Aspen University has been a great experience so far. All of my professors have doctoral degrees and are easy to communicate with via email. The curriculum is clearly presented as are the expectations. I can easily get answers from my mentor, who has always been available when I call Aspen directly; on issues regarding payments, retrieving past papers, how to utilize the resources available in the library, etc. This program is not for someone that is hoping to get an easy degree without putting in... Yes, you write a lot of APA papers, but this is not necessarily a bad thing as you will need to know what what you are doing when you start grading your own student's APA papers someday!

Aspen University is a great match for me. I did my BSN completion online. Mind you, I had my RN- ADN degree 15 years ago and not familiar with online classes. My advisor and all my professors had help me through the trenches. I just finished my BS-RN completion program. It was hard because of the pandemic that is happening when I was going to finish the course. Working during COVID plus going to school was a nightmare. Even after I finished my degree, My professor offered any help she can in my future endeavors. There is no perfect university out there and I know some students will be unsatisfied. You just need to find you the right match for you. I highly recommend Aspen, for single mothers with young kids, full time employee and full time student student.

By far the worst program ever. Teachers are hired day before class and have zero knowledge of the system being used. The price you pay for this program is insane compared to the education you receive. Do not waste your time and money. The communication between faculty is absolutely horrible. Pre-covid the information and faculty were awful. Now its even worse. $500 to take a HESI and not a single member of the class passed because we were given ZERO information on what we were to expect or the fact... Every term you have this course and every single discussion or assignment is exactly verbatim from previous nursing seminar course. You end up writing DQs on the exact same stuff you wrote about last term. Save your money if you want a real nursing education.

Aspen allowed me to obtain my MBA within 18 months and zero debt. No, this is not Harvard Business School. But you will learn the general principles you would learn at other brick and mortar business schools. The classes are not difficult. If you are even semi-organized, but as long as you determination, this program should not be difficult at all. I attended NYU for undergrad and this MBA course was much easier.
