"All I can say is run!!! This school is awful. They hirer teachers with no experience in teaching. As long as they have their nursing license, ATA will put them in a class. You pay a fee of $200 dollars each time nursing fees and $285 for maintaining the school . I had nursing so that’s 7 terms. No labs, no supplies for class, and the mannequin are the ones from the 1900’s. I was in the LPN program. The program is 37,000 + the fess I listed above. It’s not worth it. They staff in management of nursing who’s been fired three times. The school keep rehiring her which is a large part of why the nursing program is discombobulated. Don’t do it don’t do it. This program should only be 12 months and it’s 15 months just to get your money they add in unnecessary Classes. This program is a certificate base yet you will take anatomy, micro, and typing class keep in mine this program is only equivalent to a vocational school. I left what a waste of my time and money."

"I never write reviews but, this school has pushed my limits. If you plan on attending this school make sure you get everything in writing because they will change the rules at least once a month. They lie. It honestly is all about the money. Very few teachers will help you. You will make it to the end only to find out your at risk at graduation. It's ALWAYS something. You rearrange your work schedule and life to attend this school for them to turn around days before class starts and switch things up. For the money you pay for a degree you would think there would be more coordination. (not to mention there illegal $200 they charge every term before class starts) I can go on and on. Nothing but a headache.."

"dont recommend it not professional and very unethical teachers discuss others with students and other teachers. They judge you by what others say they dont get to know you for themselves they dont care if you take exits multiple times they dont reach out to say how they can help its a money thing with the nursing program there period."

"Due your homework. This Program was not ACEN accredited therefore I have to work as an LPN until I attend an accredited BSN program. We had many issues during the program. Poor communication was a big factor with are class and management. We pushed eachother and the entire class passed boards less than a month after graduation."

"I absolutely love this school. The teachers are wonderful and very hands on. I like most about the school is that, it is accelerated. This means I have the ability to learn and complete my program in a shorter amount of time and have the ability to be placed faster as well."

"I read through the other reviews posted on here and cannot believe that these students attended the same ATA that I did! The faculty and staff were always helpful and encouraging. I felt more than prepared for my state medical assistant exam (I have yet to take the state LMR exam). Certification review classes are offered and really helped me succeed. As a student, you get out of college what you put into it! I am due to graduate at the end of March and I am more than satisfied with the training that I received in the classes, as well as the experience that I received at the extern sites where I was placed. Great school! I would recommend it to anyone that wants to begin a career in the medical field."

"I read the other reviews and I have to wonder if they went to the same school as I did. The teachers and staff are caring, they help in every way. I have an excellent job in LMR with MA skills and they are so happy with the skills I learned. I have been moving up in pay for the last year. The teachers for the core subjects are great. I will not comment on the others. But I did get a great education and theres over 200 students. I believe the other reviews might have been for CIF that ATA bought and made it great."

"I do not recommend this school. My certificate is no good, ATA did not teach and train our dental assisting class properly. I graduated from this school and have been told I am not qualified for dental assisting positions because I have no hands on training and experience as an EFTA dental assistant. ATA did not deliver the proper training and education and gave me a certificate that lists accomplishments that I have not accomplished but according to ATA, they claim that is was. This school is not honest and I was scammed. When I made a complaint To the school, I was told to find a job that will train me. Excuse me but that is why I took out a student loan so ATA would teach and train me, clearly they did not hold up their end of the deal and expect me to pay on the student loans and lie to potential employers. I refuse to let ATA make a profit off of an education they did not deliver. If you are reading this and have encountered similar unethical behaviors from this a school, be sure to file a complaint with the BBB. It's time everyone stands up to this school for scamming and ripping poor innocent people off. Because ATA is an "accredited school" it's extremely hard to prove anything but if there is a pattern of complaints shown, ATA will not continue to keep getting away with this. My best advise is to go to your community college because the price is less and you will get the quality education you deserve."

"The school was a total waste. They enrolled students knowing they'd be closing their doors 6 months later. I wouldn't reccommend anyone go there. they don't communicate with students or staff & they are very unorganized & unprofessional."

"This school is the worst ever. Ive been through 7 teachers in 7 months. The teachers there arn't even real teachers. I recently found out you have to be working in the field only one year to be hired as a teacher. So they are all walking around on high horses treating all the students like low lifes that dont know anything. I know so many people that finished with high hopes after all the shit they were put through and never passed their test. Not to mention you have to pay for your final exam. Yep, $90 bucks a pop, but they wont tell you that when you sign up. They are worse than car salesman. Beyond worse. Their building is crap. My bedroom is bigger than their lab. They are the cheapest of cheap. They promise you a check for a few grand at your halfway mark and never give it to you. They keep it for themselves. This school is the biggest scam ever. Spend your money somewhere else."

"This school is the most disorganized, arrogent, dishonest place I could have picked to get a certificate in Medical Billing and Coding. If you are looking for a good school, this IS NOT IT.In the 5 months I've been at this school there have been 4 different teachers. Every change has caused confusion and mayhem. Because we keep getting further behind in the curriculum, large portions of needed study materials are being skipped over. This is a disaster. How can we possibly pass even the minimum BSCS certification test when we aren't covering all the curriculum? Making matters worse, I was fortunate enough to receive an extra government grant that paid all the remaining balance of the $12000 fee, and I was supposed to get nearly $4000 of that grant back, for living expenses. The school has set on the money and not given it to me. Nearly every student in our class has had major issues with the school in one area or another, and I don't know a single one that will recommend the school. But speaking just for myself, it's bad.Whatever you do, don't go to this school. You will be taken advantage of and will regret the day."
