"This school has there picks on who they allow certain things with. They say they offer tutoring but only have 1 tutor instructor who only knows medsurg information. There has been several times students has cheated with teachers help (witnessed it) they have 3 medsurg classes which should not be but they want more money out of you. They put all the nurses classes together which makes it very hard to focus on all because of how much material it is. This school sets you up for failure. The teachers here are not good. They can’t teach !! They basically give you a book and tell you goodluck. It’s students that have failed out and still go there but other students who failed out and was stripped away from the program. This school seriously needs an audit."

"Most definitely would not recommend. I was dismissed 2 terms before graduating because of a new teacher that I had only been around 3 times called me “unprofessional” and the admins that I grew to know and trust of the past year took her side. The same admins including the director of the campus the D.O.N and her sidekick were teachers AND NURSES and not only did they know about me pushing through being sick of my time there but also have 3 kids at home. They also never not once called or witnessed me being unprofessional. Though all of that I still was a good student. My stay there was not easy even with all the staff changes we endured monthly and showed up on time even early and went to several tutoring sessions when most of the other students were using “test banks” instead of studying. I was yelled at and belittled one time for walking in ONE MINUTE late to a clinical even though I was early and was told by another classmate I was in the wrong parking are so I moved. The fact that I even came to the clinical was good because my 8 month old was in the hospital at that time. I was put on disciplinary probation even though I didn’t yell back at her and there were witnesses who wrote emails and vouched that I handled myself well and never raised my voice back at the teacher I just left. (Guess who still has a job there). I have text and emails from students who told me teachers talked about me to them and still are even with me being dismissed. They can’t keep staff so the staff they have they will put over students. As I student I never felt protected. When I was dismissed the reason they put was because I “failed 4 classes” which I didn’t. And over the phone I was told it was for being unprofessional that one time. It still doesn’t make sense. They took my money and I had to redo classes at my new school all because of what one teacher that I barely knew thought of me. ( this is the same teacher that SEVERAL students have complained about for several reasons) They are not to be trusted. They will smile in your face and stab you from behind. I hope they get new administration that actually care about students and not trying to run a boot camp and ween out everyone who they don’t think is good enough to be a nurse. Lastly, the turn over rate is crazy. Classes start off with 20 to 30 people and graduate less the 8-10. 0/10 definitely wouldn’t recommend. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE"

"I was told by four strangers from the neighborhood not too go . But I wanted it so bad to become a Dental assistant. I even took some classes that I fail twice. but the instructors they were bringing to teach were not teaching , but allow the students to talk about their life dramas. I was so disappointed that I complaint but nothing was done. I was so upset that I wrote my anger in poetry. I thought I was sending them to myself , but I wasn't I was senting them to all the students. I wasn't aware that I did that. So I was terminated because they stated that my poetry was wrong but I thought I had freedom of expression. I now have a student loan of $14,000 that I can't pay and they took my 1000 pluz scholarship fund. In the begining we were learning but then they make the teacher the adminstrator of the Dental program . That when all the instructors that they were hiring were not teaching. I even told the student that brought all her dramas to the class to please stop because my education was going down the drain. After we were at the end of program , she then stated to complaint but it was to late. I was terminated because I was upset . The school call the police on me, because I was depress, and both female cop from Spring Hill Fl .came and arrested me without probable cause they did it for a Adminstrator of the school. But thanks to my oldest son who call the police and ask them why they took me. it was a nightmare , but I hope that someday that school will close because it a money hungry business , it not about training you for a profession its about getting people money and student loan. it a total rib off. Then one of the student who did graduated make a facebook page criticizing the school because she got her Certificate. But couldn't get a job because she was not well training in some of the area ,that she should have been. So she put up the facebook page and They school blame me , when I had nothing to do with it. She just give me the password so I could see what other people were writing about the school. I pray that before I die this school will be investigated and close down. Is ribbing off many people in the community . Taking away their dream and hope to become a professional. Also I got sick during my intership because the two ladies that were training me at Dental CoD had come from having the flu and low and behold I got the flu. I told the school but they didn't believe me , I was sick for one whole week, coughing continue that I couldn't even call them. I had to come down the school sick and all and show them that I was truly sick. Still they didn't bother to place me back in other site. But a white student by the name of Sara had her son sick and she needed to take two day off from her intership and they let her be place back into another Dental site. The rule was that you couldn't be absent no more then two days but I was sick with the flu and the flu doesn't last for two day but one to two weeks. The school treats everyone difference especially if you are black or hispanic. Many students that I went to the program with were not happy with the outcome of their training. Some drop out from intership or other were let go without a cause. It a total game if you ask me. I never experience the uglyness this school did too me. I am hoping that one day I walk by and its no longer there. I don't know why the government hasn't look into these kind of schools that are ribbing off American out of ther dream. I pray that those two female cops , that did the adminstrator the favor . Are no longer working as police officers. I was hoping to finish and become a Dental Assistant but the school took my dream alway, and many other. Its a rib me off school , its doesn't care about the students, it just wants they student loan and scholarship and after that you don't mean a thing too them. They don't care if you make it or not , all they wants is that student loan that you have to pay back even if you don't graduated . Also you can't tranfer your credits to any other college which is stink when you have 52 college credit but you can't tranfer them to other college. I hope no one else get rib off like I was rib off. I should of listen to those strangers who told me not go to . I would of save myself alot of headache."

"This is the worst school on this earth. If you have the option to choose another place do it. I have been here for 8 months now and 3 weeks out from graduation. My externship was about over and they took my Externship site managers side over their students and accused me of lying on my hours when i did NOT. The school brushes you off when they don't care what you have to say. They only care if you are colored and not anything else. The staff is rude and don't ever respond to you when you need help. I'm paying $14,000 out of my pocket to go here and I don't get respected like an adult. They treat you like a child that doesn't no anything. They don't help you find a place or job at all like they tell everyone. DO NOT GO HERE"

"I decided to go back to school in my middle 30s. I chose ATA college and it was one of the best decisions I made. When I was enrolled there the instructors were very knowable and was available to me for tutoring at anytime. Although its quite expensive to attend this school. I'm glad I did. I received my A.S degree and been working in my field of study since. When I graduated I felt very prepared for the certification exam and employment in the coding field. School is about what you put into it and if your willing to give it your all ATA will help you achieve that."

"Im wanting to continue my education and I can't use any of the credits from ATA! I have to retake everything none of them transfer to any of the schools in my area! I actually haven't found one school within 250 miles from me that will use any of them! So after spending a year there I have to start from scratch!"

"Ata college really helped me with my career in dental assisting. I was looking for a college that would work with my schedule and the classes they offered were perfect. The teachers help me understand the material and the hands on work they allowed us was what I need to succeed. I have been able to find a great new job as a dental assistant in a local dental office and love my new career. All possible with the help of Ata college."

"ATA is an amazing school, they also have amazing staff that help you with anything that you need or have a question about. The classes are small which is more time if a student extra help they can help you. The course went by really fast I couldn't believe that 10 months could go by as fast as it did."

"I had a good experience with ATA College. When I was going to school, it was nothing but school, but now that I am finished, I am working at a nursing home as a licensed practical nurse, and I enjoy it. The class size was just right for learning at the pace I am used to so I highly recommend speaking to ATA College if you are interested in a new career."

"The only negative would be is that if the main focus is LMR positioning, they need to have students get more time in in the lab to do so. Very few I have seen catch on quickly, the others very frustrated."

"I am first hand knowledge that any soul considering this school, do an immediate about face. It is way to expensive, you would be better off going to your local community college or university. It may take longer but the few extr months mean you are more likely to be hired into the position which you studied so hard for & extra bucks in your wallet.Yes you would actually be able to buy a wallet if you do not attend this school. They are only helpful after they got what they want from you & that is your loan given to them but you have to pay for it.,/p>Yes you will be buying them new BMW's, Mercedes, Clothes, & Jewelry. Then "OH WELL" you tried."

"I started in November 2012 for the Dental Asssistant program and I was going to my externship when I caught the flu by the same person that was training me, so the school staff stated that I fail and they wanted me to start again in January 2013, but the problem was they let another student who also fail her externship and let her look for a new site and start all over again. But with me they told me different. so now Iam out of my externship and out of 14,5625 dollars that I have to pay back. I have written to my state senator and to the department of education hoping that someone will help me get my funds back so I can start some place new or have the school give me my externship. Whatever it is I wanted to become a Dental Assistant . The staff lie to me and treated me different."

"This school has helped me become a better person by teaching me that I can not do everything for everyone. They did all that they could to help me get the finical aid to come to school the advisor that helped me she worked magic I had been trying to come to this school for like 2 or 3 years but I couldn't afford it. The teachers are great they will help you in any way possibe. I have made some life long friends here at ATA including the staff. Most of them will be near and dear to my heart for the rest of my life."
