Degree: Business Administration
Graduation Year: 2018

Ball State University will provide you with an exceptional degree at an affordable rate. Choosing to go to Ball State was probably one of the best decisions I could have made. Ball State has dedicated faculty, a diverse student body, beautiful campus, and a lot of strong degree programs. The business administration program did not disappoint. I was given insight into entrepreneurship, management, economics, accounting, international business, finance, marketing, logistics and supply chain, statistics, information systems, etc. This wide-reaching program gives you options to pick some of your electives and have a say in what you want to learn about.

Ball State University is an excellent college. I felt that I not only experienced a well-rounded education for my degree, but I was also immersed in several opportunities to expand my level of openness to diversity. While attending Ball State university, I felt very welcomed by the Muncie community as well as students at the university. I felt at home. When I applied for my masters program, I felt well prepared for the upcoming curriculum, and I felt that I stood out among my fellow applicants due to the opportunities I seized while at Ball State University. The majority of professors at Ball State University truly care about their students, and will go above and beyond for each student. I felt that this is especially important for incoming freshmen because freshmen are often not prepared for the course load of college. For my degree program specifically, I was introduced to a multitude of courses that allowed me to have a very well-rounded psychological science learning experience. I took courses ranging from forensic psychology to psychology of diversity to abnormal psychology, all taught by intriguing professors that made the course fun and interesting. I looked forward to going to most of my courses and I feel that I will apply the information I learned throughout my undergraduate career. Outside of an academic setting, I had an amazing experience as an athlete at Ball State University. I felt that my team was incredibly close, and they felt like a family to me. I easily adapted to college because of my athletic team. I was provided with amazing friends before I even stepped onto campus. All in all, I had a great experience at Ball State University, and I would recommend pursuing an education at Ball State. #WEFLY #CHIRPCHIRP

Ball State University is a school full of diversity and opportunity. The first thing I really enjoyed about Ball State was the diverse community it fostered. There are students of every background at this university, and campus connections foster these differences. There are many cultural events that occur throughout the school year - most of which are free. One that sticks out to me specifically is the Amazing Taste. At this event, students spend one meal swipe in order to access 3 floors of different cultures represented by food, dance, and music. Ball State allows students to celebrate who they are and what they believe in a safe and educational manner. My second favorite part about Ball State is the opportunities it offers. There are chances to make connections every day. There are multiple job fairs held throughout the year. With a little searching students can participate in immersive learning programs, become a teaching assistant, or even assist professors with research. While these opportunities are not easily found, any student with some interest and perseverance can find these opportunities around every corner. Ball State offers students two things that I feel other schools lack at: diversity and opportunity. Tucked away in the middle of Indiana; Ball State gives an enriching experience to any student who attends.

Degree: Elementary Education
Graduation Year: 2016

Education: I graduated from the Ball State Teachers College in 2016. I feel that the program that I was in was exceptional. I had amazing professors, advisors and many opportunities for actual field experience. The program offered many student teaching opportunities within the state, out of the state and even out of the country. I received a job offer 2 month prior to graduating from Ball State. I have been in my field for several months now and I find that I am more prepared than other first year peers. Advising/career opportunities: Ball State has a career center that helps with creating resumes, preparing for job interviews and searching for jobs. There are also several career fairs throughout the year. There are larger career fairs open for everyone and there are smaller career fairs that are targeted for certain careers. Diversity: Ball state has a diverse staff and student population. There is also a multicultural center that host many events and has many information for diverse clubs throughout the campus.

The Miller College of Business at Ball State University has been a great experience for me so far in my pursuit of an MBA degree. The staff is very helpful and communicative. They understand the challenges of pursuing a graduate degree while working full time and completing classes online. I would recommend Ball State University to anyone thinking about pursuing a graduate degree, especially online.

The degree program was a good program to start with if you plan on going to graduate school. If you plan on going the medical route, you may want to take more science based courses. My suggestion involves searching well paying careers then majoring in that field specifically. Overall, BSU is a good university.

The curriculum is good, balanced. The teaching staff are engaging but of course online experience still lacks the rich social environment of face to face engagement. The assignments promote reflective learning and provoke deep connections. If I was near Ball State I would sign on the on campus track!
