"I received a great education through Ball State for my Master's degree. I am using my degree to further my understanding of special education, specifically in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis with an emphasis on Autism. I am pleased with the education I have received, and the online format worked well with my busy lifestyle."

"Ball State was an excellent school for teacher preparation. I've been teaching for 3 years now and have had numerous conversations with co-workers about our prepatory classes. Ball State does an excellent job preparing teachers and does a much better job than most colleges that I've dealt with. I have had 2 student teachers throughout my career (from 2 different colleges) and was very dissatisfied with their program, in comparison to what I went through. Ball State throws you into a classroom your first semester and then consistently builds it's curriculum off student applications. Once accepted into the teacher's college, you spend more time working with students and gaining hands on experience than you do in a lecture hall. I loved Ball State's program. Ball State is a very well balanced college. It's a great education experience, with an excellent degree reputation. It has a fantastic social community, great social aspects, and many incredible leadership programs."

Degree: Political Science
Graduation Year: 2004
"I enjoyed Ball State. It was much larger than my high school but not overwhelming. There were many, many activities to do and the dorm life was welcoming my first couple of years. I would've gone elsewhere and done just political science. I originally wanted to be a TV journalist. Do not go to grad school unless it is paid for by someone else - scholarships, work, etc. or it is required (MD, law, etc.) It's extremely expensive. Upon leaving grad school, I had over 50K in debt for that degree."
