"I was in the first graduating class from Bellevue College, later Bellevue University. The original campus was a Quonset hut just off the USAF base (OFFETT). My most memorable instructor was Professor M.; he taught psychology and HR classes. I was his student aid for Human Relations. I was allowed to transfer in a fair number of USAFI course credits. Going full time at nights, I got my BA in about 1.5 years. This had a significant effect on my military time. I qualified for OTS but got out due to medical problems. As a consequence of getting my degree my Captain gave me career advice that has helped me throughout my work and private life including working on advanced degrees."

"Bellevue had everything I needed while giving me the flexibility to work full time and raise a family. There was help when I needed it and I felt supported by all the instructors and staff. Without their encouragement and family feeling my bachelors would not be possible."

"I'm very concerned that my degree from this school is not viewed by employers as one that matters. I've been told that a degree from here is like a high school diploma... everyone can get one. :( My experience is that the school has a ton of turn over. Faculty and advisors just seem to leave the University all the time. No one stays. This is weird and my friends say this isn't normal. There is something going on with this school that isn't right. I don't know what it is, but I recommend looking for other options. It is a good choice if it is your only choice I guess. Best of luck with your studies."
