"Berklee is a wonderful music institution, where I received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees! It is been a vital part of my education and career since I attend their summer programs back in 2004. I chose this institution to be a vocal performance major, but it was also important that I would be able to learn about other areas of music which included songwriting and music business. This college is also very diverse, and where as other music conservatories focus solely on "Jazz, Musical Theater or Classical" at Berklee, you can do it all! You are free to study whichever musical genres you like ranging from Contemporary Jazz, Broadway, Opera, Country, Pop/Rock/R&B etc."

"Berklee is a good school, but it's not for everyone. Definitely think twice about money before you come here. It is very likely that you won't make enough money to cover the cost of college even 10 years after college, especially if you are an international student. However, most students enjoy being here. The vibe is very nice and I do learn lots of stuff in my major. It is just not a very cost-effective school, considering the fact that most successful musicians didn't finish a degree, and most graduates didn't become famous. Be calm about your dream before you decide to attend Berklee, and talk to your parents about money."
