"Bridgewater College was a great experience. However, my degree has been useless! Majoring in Art and Design was interesting, fun and challenging. But since I am not an Art teacher or in the Design world less than useful. Speaking for the art and design departments, the instructors were great and the classes educational. The campus life was friendly, lots of activities and intramural. The sports teams were okay and overall school spirit was positive. I have a number of good friends I still stay in contact with from college, and two of them were in my wedding recently. The alumni department and career services all vanish once you have graduated, unless they are calling for a donation to their scholarships those calls I hear like clockwork. If I could go back, I would select a public university and major in something business related."

"It is not worth is. It cost way too much for a degree you could get anywhere else. You receive no real world experience. The amount you will owe after you graduate is ridiculous. There is no help for you if you can not pay. They are all about taking your money. I got a job that I could have had right out of high school. College did nothing to help."

"Bridgewater is a small school, so I got to know people really well and I also got to interact a lot with my professors. No hiding in the back of a huge lecture hall! My psychology classes prepared me very well for my masters degree. I got a change to do both an internship and a research project which look great on my resume. At the end of my time there, they were in the process of updating a lot of the living and dining facilities. Things are really nice now, and I was sad I couldn't stay longer to take advantage of those things!"

"My college experience at Bridgewater was eye-opening in more ways than one. I was responsible for putting myself through college financially, and at the time I'm not sure I understood the gravity of how much money I borrowed. Despite the high cost of my tuition, I don't think I would change my decision if I had the chance to. I made some amazing connections with my professors, other students, and my community, and these are things that I believe will help advance my career and growth as an individual far more than landing a lucrative job could. I would recommend the college to anyone who prefers learning in a small classroom setting, with personal interactions between professors and students."
