Degree: Medical Administrative/Executive Assistant and Medical Secretary
Graduation Year: 2018

I want to start off by saying that I don't understand the negative reviews this school I getting. I just graduated and out of all the instructors that I had, I only have one that was very rude and unhelpful. She was so rude and unhelpful that I dropped out for that semester, came back, and finished with flying colors. I never was given a grade that I did not earn. The instructors all answer within 24 hours most of the time and most of them will help you via phone or Skype. The only negative thing that I can say is that if you take medical billing and coding, it is very hard. You are teaching yourself. It took me way too long to figure it out but, is that really the schools fault? I have had zero issues with financial aid or any of the employees at this school. I am returning in a few weeks to further my education. I have learned a lot at this school. I believe that people giving it bad reviews had the misconception that teachers would be coddling them as if they are I'm elementary school, and when they realized they couldn't learn the material on their own, they decided to blame the school. This is an online school. You must read and comprehend things on your own or you are screwed. As far as someone's post about the discussions, I type a full page at each discussion. I research the topic, and provide references. Others post four sentences with misspelled words and improper grammar, yet expect to get 100. I'm not sure how some of them made it past 6th grade to be honest. By taking online courses you are not getting a free ride or an easy way out. YOU MUST STUDY, TURN ASSIGNMENTS IN COMPLETE AND ON TIME. There is nothing wrong with this school other than maybe they should be choosier on who they let in.

Graduation Year: 2018

These people are the worst!!! I purchased books, well over $1000, that were not needed (most I never touched). The instructors gave me grade I didnt earn. Incomplete assignments, I still received 90-100% grade. Multiple assignments had errors (missing info). Some writing assignments are opinion based and by informing the instructor of that my grade was changed from a 65% to 100%. Not only does the assignments have errors bit their presentations have multiple spelling and grammatical errors but they tale points off our discussion posts if we post with errors. Bryant and Stratton is a sham. You can simply purchase your degree, know nothing and theyll be fine with it. All they care about is making money. After submitting my complaints and proof, they agreed with me and said they would call me back. Never heard back until I quit and they wanted to pish the bill on me. Ive requested a detailed bill on multiple occasions and have yet to get one. But I did get a total bill I owe to BS, Appropriately abbreviated because their school is BS, without any details via email. I was born but didnt listen before I started please listen and dont waste your time or money going to the school .

Degree: Business
Graduation Year: 2018

I decided to go back to school to finish my associates degree. After inquiring on their website, someone called me within the next hour and was extremely pushy and letting me know I should sign up right away because there was only like a week or so left until I had to wait months for the next session. She told me my whole associates degree would cost about $16,000 - it ended up being around $16,000 per semester. Which is insane. I have had maybe two good teachers, the rest are complete a*******. I have gotten so many horrible grades with no explanation at all. They are not helpful and I feel like I have been teaching myself. I have taken online courses before at different colleges and did not have this same experience. I would never recommend this school.

Degree: Business Administration
Graduation Year: 1987

I attended Bryant& Stratton after I transferred from another college that close up. I was hoping to continue working on my associate degree. They enrolled me quickly and I never was explained the cost of anything. When I started class I was rushed to get some assignment done. I had to find my way by myself no one help me. I ask for help because their system and blackboard was different. I email my instructor but no response until the last week of class. The advisor email the assignment I what had to do. I've done every assignment they told me to do. He started checking the assignment and I made all A's and B's and then he stopped again and disappeared. When he returned he said I had done a lot of wrong assignments so I asked him can I do the right assignments please show me he never response to me. The next day I logged  in to the blackboard he had failed me it was 40%.I know why he fail me because they gave me a scholarship for every term I would receive 1000.00 to 5000.00 if I kept my grades at a A are B average. I had been in the other college for over a year before they close maintaining A&B average. And i had been to college before and graduated. They took every penny of my loans and federal aid and then ignored me and some other students. It wasn't but three student in our class. I got a chance to meet my advisor the last week of class. I told her about my experience with my instructor she said some are like that. But not all of them maybe next class the instructor will be different wish you luck. I feel they treated me wrong and this was a horrible experience for me.

Degree: Medical Office Assistant/Specialist
Graduation Year: 2017

My experience here was great, but I feel it could have been better. Most of my teachers were amazing and had great resources; they gave me great feed back and one of my teachers provided mini games for studying which I loved and thought was really effective. I did only have one teacher that gave little to no feedback, and did not provide much assignments so we could elaborate more on what we were learning. For example, our final consisted of filing a claim which included adding a CPT code. You would think that we would have assignments that consisted of filing claims or coding through out the course. Nope! Thankfully I had a text book that told you what to put where on the claim, and she provided the code and I got an A, but I might of just got an A because she was too lazy to take the time and grade it. This was a billing and reimbursement course too; one of the main subjects that I have to understand for this career. I passed the class though and the class I took afterwards reviewed billing and reimbursement again, so my knowledge on the topic is satisfactory. There is a problem with some of the multiple choice quizzes! I have had experience in one particular class where I know I answered a question right, but it would say it was a different answer. It sounds ridiculous, but I would double check in the text book after the quiz and I was in the right, not the quiz. The career services is awesome; this one woman J helped me prepare for an interview, and I was nervous for it, but she was supportive and gave great feed back during our mock interview which I believe greatly improved my interviewing skills. I am graduating in 4 days; it was a great experience, it was not perfect, but I was not expecting it to be.

Degree: Medical Billing & Coding
Graduation Year: 2018

This is ridiculous I have been having technical issues due to the instructor messing up on his set up for the class. I do the assignments he claims he hasn't received them I send evidence of them being done as confirmation and yet the instructor still gives me a 0 rather then heading it. I fear I will be failing out due to situations that are out of my control

Degree: Human Services
Graduation Year: 2017

This is a good school to attend but some of the instructors are rude and don't care about the students. You have some Instructors that will help you to pass and some that won't even give you a chance. I have been attending this school going on 2 years heading into my last semester and this is the worse experience I've had with an instructor! Some of the course work is difficult sand being that we don't have enough time to learn the instructor should understand and at least give you credit! I understand this is a college it's not supposed to be easy but when you have a instructor that is real inconsiderate and just don't care that is my problem. Overall not a bad college.

Degree: Medical Insurance Specialist/Medical Biller
Graduation Year: 2017

I think that all these bad reviews are from lazy people who feel that the degree should just be handed to them. I have had nothing but helpful, encouraging instructors. Whenever I have not understood something,I emailed or called my instructor and most of the time received a response right away. Of course you are teaching yourself. It is an ONLINE school. What did you expect. If you don't have the mental capacity to learn from the discussions ND assignments you are screwed, and are wasting your time. I agree that the discussions are tedious sometimes but, it is what it is. I have seen what my classmates post. The words they use are at a fifth grade level at best. I research every discussion topic above and beyond the lecture material. I post an entire page, with examples, and my classmates post 3 sentences. That is what annoys me. And when we ask each other questions, none of them can form an educated response to keep the discussion going. This is not the fault of the instructors. It is grown adults being lazy, trying to get a degree but, not putting forth the effort to do anything productive to earn it. The posts where people say it is two years later and you still haven't found a job in your field, how is that possible? I emailed career services and they are helping me find one as we speak, and I haven't even graduated yet. Again you have to put forth the effort. Most employers want people with experience. Therefore, having career services help you, is what you need to do. My only complaint is the ignorant students they allow in this school. Ghetto language, and the fact that I work my butt off and these other students just do a half-baked job and still pass. I tired to befriend a fellow classmates, and she was so annoying and negative. Always complaining about the assignments, the instructor, etc. And always asking me for the answers. She would ask the instructor for help , and since the instructor did not just tell her the answer, but told her where to find it, she complained to the academic advisor and the advisor told her the instructor did nothing wrong. I laughed at that then blocked her on everything. I am here to earn my degree not be dragged down by someone else's negativity. Bottom line is if you are attending this school, you are an adult. Step up to the plate, don't do a half-baked job,and don't complain about the cost. Nothing is free, this is America. You are going to lay no matter what college you go to. You fell it isn't worth it because you don't put forth the effort to make it worth it. Grow up people!

Degree: Business
Graduation Year: 2016

In thought by signing up for online classes to deal with my busy schedule it would be a perfect fit. However that is simply not the case with their classes and other areas of their schooling. First of all they are EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE, if you have a community college near you, go there! One semester costs over 8k with half assed teaching and grading. There were times where my assignments wouldn't be graded for a week or two. The whole thing of writing full length responses to other students is ridiculous. Financial aid is a joke, have all your eggs in one basket and make sure you don't need your extra money anytime soon. They acre you over with that, TWO WEEKS AFTER THEY RECEIVE IT, THEN YOU GET IT, IT'S BROKEN UP TOO, SO every nine weeks you could get a check or direct deposit. Book buybacks is utter trash, how do you have books specifically for your school and you don't buy them back? They have students pay hundreds of dollars on books that they won't even accept back. I'm not continuing with them after this experience, AVOID IF YOU CAN!!!
