California State University-East Bay Reviews
California State University East Bay helped shape me into the individual I am today. Dr.X. specifically really helped me see and reach my full potential. There were so many classes I absolutely loved and would take again without complaint. Having classes offered both online and in person allowed me to work and get an education.
The university is one of the most diverse universities in the country and aims at transparency and inclusion for all students. The university administration continues to advocate and lobby on the behalf of the students at the state and federal levels for the safety and financial support of all persons enrolled.
While attending school I was able to apply my education, for example, by generating revenue in a sales capacity and earning a new sales agent fast track bonus during my tenure at California State Automobile Association. Additionally, I've been qualified for promotions, with responsibilities of outlining strategic marketing and business ventures to promote products and services during my tenure at Alameda County. My undergraduate degree and coursework have given me the ability to provide analytical support. I am now well versed in computer applications and have heightened my critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills, along with maximizing my earning potential in the workforce. Additionally, the online component offered a lot of support from both the staff and counselors. Without it, I do not think I would have been able to complete my degree within the timeframe I desired. I would highly recommend this institution to anyone.
CSUEB gave me all the preparation I needed to succeed in my degree. The assistance and support I received helped me land a job. They have so many services to help seniors with internships, workshops, and job fairs. I am very satisfied with my B.S. in health administration.
Human interaction is imperative for undergrads and a mix of courses for a masters is advised. When you stop growing you die so keeping abreast of current trends in your field is invigorating and rejuvenating. You meet interesting people and form network friendships. Stay in school!
Overall a great experience. Most students are commuting to campus so there are a lot of students who are working while going to school. This was great because it allowed great discussion in classes as people brought their different perspectives. Most of my professors were great and available for questions!
I had a positive experience at CSUEB. The campus is extremely big, plenty of parking, and filled with diversity. I met such a great group of life long friends in my graduating class. Although this university is considered to be a commuter school, I still keep in touch with my friends! The professors are extremely helpful, they want all of the students to succeed. I graduated in Health Sciences emphasis Pre-Clinical Preparation. The curriculum is designed for students to become a new face in healthcare with innovated ideas and creativity. I enjoyed taking a wide range of courses because health care is extremely broad. Overall, my experience at CSUEB had been outstanding and I am forever grateful with the opportunities and knowledge I have gained.
At California State University Eastbay, (in the business department), there is a lot of wonderful professors. Majority of the professors are there to help you and want you to succeed in life, and want you to be ready in the real world work force. One major reason why I picked Business for my major was because of the good ratings the school had for its Business Department. As it says on the brochures "Best in the West"
Cal State East Bay offered more than just curriculum to prepare me for life after graduation. During my senior year, I had the opportunity to experience life abroad as well as assist in providing feedback for new systems That students will be able to benefit from in the future. The media program is booming and I'm so excited for the direction the communications department is moving in and even more excited to see how future students will utilize those skills to add to the ever-changing world.
California State University - East Bay is a very decent college, however, "decent" is not for everyone. Setting us up for success should be the main priority of all universities. Feeling this sense of security upon graduation would make it a true experience that I would enjoy to tell people. Although, I did end up eventually landing a good paying job, it felt as if my education did not have much to do with it. Do not get me wrong, I had a great time in college and would not have learned a lot of what I know today if it wasn't for my education.
