"CSU San Bernardino has positively impacted my life because I have felt immensely supported from day one. This institution has countless of programs and opportunities for student success. During the summer incoming freshmen students attend an orientation that is a two day, overnight experience in which they are provided with a dorm, assistance with registering for fall classes, a campus tour, and introduction to on-campus clubs and organizations. Personally, I became involved with the Student Assistance in Learning (SAIL) Program and have taken advantage of the advising services, Saturday studying before finals week, and access to adjunct courses. The adjunct courses helped me tremendously because a SAIL instructor would sit in the lecture I was enrolled in. The adjunct instructor would take notes and would provide scheduled lecture reviews and assistance with homework and test preparation. The campus also provided me with an opportunity to work on-campus through the Work Study office. I would definitely encourage students to apply to the work-study program when filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Being an on-campus student assistant allowed me to further network with staff and faculty. A huge takeaway from this campus experience is that if you are willing to ask, someone is more than happy to help!"

"California State University, San Bernardino is a productive school to attend because of the diversity population of students. The professors are amazing, they teach differently than your traditional style, and really care about you. Also, the professors are very accepting as they teach in their own unique way rather than your usual by the book style. If you really want to get involved, there are plenty of clubs that you can join that will accept you into their group. Campus is really nice and everything is within walking distance with a lot of new building and many more to come. Coming to CSUSB will be a great experience."

"CSUSB is said to be a commuter school for students that live all over the IE. CSUSB has great resources for students, supporting staff, and great internship opportunities. There are many clubs and organizations available for students to get involved as well. CSUSB is located on the San Andreas fault line which is great for students that are in the geology majors because it makes it easier for students to learn about certain topics. CSUSB is known for their nursing and business programs and is ranked one of the top schools in California. In comparison UC schools and private schools CSUSB is extremely cheaper. CSUSB is a school of high diversity and students with all different types of SES attend. CSUSB has a student union which is a place for the student to relax during breaks and in between classes, the SU has different food places in which the students can grab lunch from, plus there are many centers that students can go to and meet other people; for example the cross cultural center, pride center, Latinx center, women center, among others. CSUSB had a library that has 5 floors in which students can go to get books but also is used primarily as a place to study with many study spots great for individual students or study group sessions. CSUSB is a medium size campus where most students decide to walk to class but many people to bike and/ or skateboard to class since certain building can be more spread out than others. CSUSB offers a psychology degree and they have a human development degree that many students can receive a dual major within 4-5 years because both of these majors have a huge overlap in classes. Apart from students obtaining a BA or BS students are able to get minor and certificates if they have a desire to. Faulty at CSUSB like to be available for students and offer guidance and extra support if needed."

"I graduated with dual bachelors degrees in Psychology and Human Development in December of 2015. I initially came into CSUSB focusing on a BA in Psychology and ended up adding the dual BA in Human Development later on. The transition was really simple and 2 degrees ended up taking me 5 years. The dual BA offered me an internship opportunity that drove my passion into entering the field of social work and now I am starting my 2-year Master in Social Work program hoping to go for licensing in becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at the end of it. I'm so satisfied that I chose to complete my 2 BA degrees at CSUSB. Overall, I have had a positive experience at CSUSB and I'm happy to be returning for my Masters!"

"CSUSB was a good school for me. I didn't do much on campus besides attend my classes, but I had some great teachers and I felt safe on campus."
