Excellent program for working adults who can work independently with limited instruction. Perfect amount of flexibility, and you can use your prior work experience to move through your specialization. Highly recommend the flex path program for affordability.

I love Capella. I got both my undergrade and graduate degree here. I have a job in my degree field and earn a good wage. The only issue I have was in the end when financial aid messed up and I ended up paying $1,700 outside of my financial aid package to get my degree. Otherwise... like many have said.. this program takes work and you have to do the work.

I enjoyed my time at this school and put in constant effort to ensure I was completing the assignment as required. BUT Good luck finding a job once you get this degree. I would opt for a school that will help with job placement or else this will be a worthless degree.

Pros: - Completed my Master's in 9 months - Opened more doors for interviews - Cheap Tuition - Get's checkbox for HR & employers - Not a diploma mill - Can work ahead & finish each course as early you want - Non-Proctored exams - No exams. Mainly essay & project based - Easy learning platform & navigation Cons: - Challenging, frustrating, & heavy workload. This can be a good & bad thing. 10-20 pages x 4-6 assignments. This can take 2-3 weeks to finish each assignments. If you do the math, each course... Read More

I would not recommend Capella to other potential students. My experience over the years was very underwhelming. I had only a handful of what seemed to be good professors who cared about their students. Otherwise, I was a number and a means to generate revenue. Some other tidbits about my experience: I had to contact the Dean in order to get answers from the financial department, because the financial department kept ignoring my communications. That is a real problem. Professors routinely take too... Read More

I loved attending Capella University. I was able to transfer 2 courses and completed the masters program in 7 months! The Flex Program is GREAT. I was very dedicated and focused which allowed me to complete the program quickly and save on tuition. If you are motivated and disciplined, this is a great program to pursue.

I decided to enroll in this school because of the FlexPath program. It seemed attracting at the time. My goal was to complete a Masters within a year. Yes it is possible! However, after reading online reviews, I sort of seen what other reviews were talking about. The professors are very picky with assignments & will do anything & everything to keep you enrolled. Preventing you ambitious people like myself to graduate early. These professors are self entitled & are nothing compared to prestigious... Read More

I was apprehensive at first to enroll in an online university. I saw an ad for Capella's FlexPath program and decided to pursue a BSBA. Jaci Thiemann (Capella Enrollment Specialist) helped me sooo much getting started and after enrolling, it took me only 2 semesters to finish my degree. If you are a "go-getter" then the FlexPath program is suited just for you. I loved everything about Capella and can't wait to obtain my MBA from them.

This is a scam, their goal is to keep you there as long as possible. No wonder with a 17% graduation rate, they should have paid me to go to there school. I enrolled in Flex Path in Nov. 2017. Don't let the Flex Path name fool you, it's not flexible at all. You have to take one class at a time, they only have one instructor, and classes all have to be done in order. There are low-quality instructors and they seem over the top on stupid issues that have nothing to do with the class. They continuously... Read More

I completed my undergraduate degree at University of Hawai'i at Manoa in Dental Hygiene. At first, I was skeptical to apply to the MBA program at Capella University because I had absolutely no background in Business. The only business-related course I took in college was Speech, if you even want to account for that. Capella University and their MBA program was a fit for me and my lifestyle because everything was accounted for online and I could "attend" classes when I had time. I am a full-time wife,... I took the FlexPath to get my MBA. It gave me the flexibility to pursue my degree while working full time and having a family. I could work at my own pace and got support from professors and tutors when I needed it. I am so glad I made the decision to get my MBA, because I feel a sense of accomplishment and it will further my career.

I had wanted my MBA for a long time. I started it twice; however, being on call 24/7 just did not allow me to reliably attend a Brick and Mortar school. Only when I taught classes was I able to do the B&M and then I still got interrupted. I thoroughly enjoyed my classes and the interaction with other students. Most of my instructors were very good I had a couple that were not so I transferred out or dropped the class and rescheduled. I wanted my doctorate and looked around of a different school as... Do Not go to this school . You have to take more classes than other institutions, which means that the school receives more money. At Capella for the Masters Programs you have to take about 16 courses in order to get a degree. The university has 4 quarters Summer Spring Fall And Winter......For each quarter you take 2 classes ( which are 6 week courses) which equals to about $4500 in tuition and you normally receive a $1800 refund. so they get 4500 and you get about 1800 in a refund. But at other... Read More

Prior to enrolling at Capella I did my research, as did everyone else. However, my mother was the one who suggested it to me since she is employed with Kaiser Permanente and they partner with Capella. After enrolling in my MBA program I can tell you that I haven't had any problems with the program or school thus far. According to reviews, the professor's do not care about their students but are only money driven. What I can tell you is that I have had great teachers who are not only very involved... Read More

Capella University courses are good courses and the program is a very good program. I am currently studying for a Master of Business Administration. The financial aid is horrible and the financial aid organization does not know what it is doing. I was enrolled in a semester or quarter as they call them and I dropped a course within the stated time and checked to make sure that my financial aid would not be affected. The assured me that it was fine. The tuition was not charged for the course however... Read More

As an accredited online university, it is build to accommodate those who work and have no time for traditional university. Plus the tuition is much cheaper! The advisors and professors are very helpful and understanding. In some cases they themselves are also graduates from an online program. As someone who has 3 jobs, i am able to comfortably incorporate study and homework time around my job. My hard work pays off tremendously because my professors are there with me, to encourage me and support... Read More
