"Prior to enrolling at Capella I did my research, as did everyone else. However, my mother was the one who suggested it to me since she is employed with Kaiser Permanente and they partner with Capella. After enrolling in my MBA program I can tell you that I haven't had any problems with the program or school thus far. According to reviews, the professor's do not care about their students but are only money driven. What I can tell you is that I have had great teachers who are not only very involved in my courses but also responsive! I also receive a call per quarter from my academic advisor regarding my plans moving forward in preperation for the upcoming courses. As far as the comments regarding dropping classes goes, as with any college institution, you should be well aware of the drop dates and anything pertaining to them-- after all, we are adults. The best advice I can give you is to not let other's opinions on an institution sway you from giving it a chance."

"I have had a very good experience with Capella University through the instruction to graduation. I would recommend this university to anyone. I love the program layout and know what to expect. The instructors are always there and helpful. The library is full of articles and books to use for research."

"Capella University courses are good courses and the program is a very good program. I am currently studying for a Master of Business Administration. The financial aid is horrible and the financial aid organization does not know what it is doing. I was enrolled in a semester or quarter as they call them and I dropped a course within the stated time and checked to make sure that my financial aid would not be affected. The assured me that it was fine. The tuition was not charged for the course however they reversed the aid I received for the course that I took in the 1st semester and then said I owed then $1900.0 for a course that I took and received financial aid for. The financial aid process should not be this difficult or cumbersome."

"As an accredited online university, it is build to accommodate those who work and have no time for traditional university. Plus the tuition is much cheaper! The advisors and professors are very helpful and understanding. In some cases they themselves are also graduates from an online program. As someone who has 3 jobs, i am able to comfortably incorporate study and homework time around my job. My hard work pays off tremendously because my professors are there with me, to encourage me and support me. They have a great team in the financial aid department. As someone who has never applied for financial aid, the team was very patient and informal about the process i have to take. As part of the program, one of our weekly assignments is to communicate in a discussion with our colleagues. As an online university, it attracts people of all ages and work background to come together for 6 weeks (per course) and work together. You are able to get a little insight on different industries each person works for and therefore give you a better perspective. It might even help you with you assignments. Whereas for traditional universities, you primarily have people in their 20's who have little to no experience in the work field. Either way, i am happy with the choice i have made in trusting Capella University with my future."
