From the first time I called Capella to the commencement, I only have positive comments. Capella was very challenging, yet staff and faculty cherished our successes. They were highly supportive from the beginning to the end. I can honestly say that I had the best academic experience at Capella. Very organized, challenging, creative, and supportive!
I was attending another online University that did not consider my disability or even allow me a medical extension due to my two surgeries. Instead I was placed on academic probation and informed that if I did improve my grade I would be drop out of the school. So, I made the decision to leave that University very dissatisfied and was told to complete my degree with Capella. I was very hesitate at first since I would be losing credits and falling behind a year or so but, after attending Capella and all the support I have gained I don't regret it at all. Capella has lifted my self-esteem, self-confidence and motivation even allowing me to participate in becoming an Ambassador, being part of an Honor Society, which I have never experienced in my life. Their instructions are very supportive although, it is expensive but worth it in the long run its like investing in your future.
I have learned a great deal at this school. I have faced many challenges and the professor at Capella push you to overcome those challenges. I have no problems with this school. You have to work hard to earn that degree. I enjoy my days at Capella.
I have been a student at Capella since last Winter and am very happy with the university as well as my classes and professors. The university is very helpful if you have any questions and the tuition is reasonable. The employees at the school are very friendly also. I am in the Bachelor's Degree program now and look forward to continuing on to my PhD at Capella.
Capella is the best online college experience. You will have a great team of support to help you through out your learning experience. The course are very resourceful and provide a detailed outlook of what to expect in your career. You gain the tools you need to fully understand what you are learning.
I completed by BS through Capella's FlexPath Program. OMG! What a great program! In FlexPath you can complete as many units as you can take each quarter for a flat rate. I finished my BS in only two quarters, saving so much money over other BS programs. I loved the format and flexibility. This is a program where you are in total control of your outcomes and timing. It was hard work to finish so fast, but as a returning adult who works full time, I just couldn't see spending years to get my degree. FlexPath allows you to finish as quickly s you are willing to work.
Obtained by RN to BSN at Capella due in fact that they were accredited and recommended by the ANA. While a lot of writing and reading was expected but a redundancy was able to help me as a reinforce in my learning. Although the cost is not cheap i am proud I did it. I did not need the use of financial aid, an in fact received a discount as a member of the American Nurses Association (ANA). As a Nurse I enjoyed doing my assignments and discussion. Thank you to all my instructors and thank you Capella you were good to me. Love you and you will be in my heart always... Cecilia
Capella University is a great place to earn an online degree. I am currently working on my DNP and highly recommend this program. It is rigorous and I have learned a lot already. I also like that they are updating the degree program per comments received. This strengthens the program. The courses are great, the online format is great, and so far most of my professors have been wonderful. As a Capella Ambassador, I highly recommend Capella!
Capella was OK, but TOO expensive. I do NOT recommend it for this reason alone. The instructors were knowledgeable in their field, but to pay the price I paid, for this degree, it was NOT worth it! The Criminal Justice system does NOT pay enough for a person to get a Master's degree!
This is suppose to be a college geared to people that are employed. Some courses unnecessary readings from 150 pages and beyond. Many glitches to access course rooms and ebooks. I had to rent two of my books and purchase another because ebooks were not available. Alas after I received my books I was charged for ebooks that I was able to gain access to. I am going to continue to strive however the lack of professors guidance is concerning. Really not convinced this is better than a traditional school. All this and unfortunately a glitch with accepting financial aid/loans. This is not a comprehensive learning experience its a rush but I am dedicated to both learn to understand and to complete my degree.
