"So I did the RN to MSN program with Capella university and I must say it was a overall good experience. I had one class in which I would have my papers reviewed before I submitted them and twice received a grade of 50 with no real explanation and that was discouraging. But aside from that one class and professor (I requested not to have them again for any future classes) my experience was good. If I had questions or concerns I could always reach out to the professors. If they felt I was lacking in a area they would coach me on how to better improve my writing and studying tactics. They also turned out to be great resources when it came time to learning how to conduct research. I'm strongly considering continuing on with them for a PhD. This has been a good experience that has now made me eligible to do other jobs and work at magnet hospitals. Thank you Capella for this chance to earn my education and prove to employers that I am worth the investment."

"As a matter of fact, I have received my Bachelor of Science in Business with an emphasis in Finance program at Capella University. Capella University is one path that leads to many destinations. Capella coursework has helped me to understand the mechanics of leadership, become more resourceful, creative, and solution-oriented person for my family; and my community. On the balance, so much has changed in the second half of my life."

"Capella University is pioneering the way people can learn online. I used the FlexPath system and was able to complete my BS in 2 years. It provided me the flexibility to continue working full time and earn my degree. The courses are in depth and challenging as well. What I was able to learn I was able to apply in real-life situations regularly."

"On March 19th of 2015, I took a massive stroke. While fighting for my life, Capella dropped me from the Mental Health Counseling program. I jumped through all of the hoops to get back in, on to find the catalog changed, and I lost 20 credits. Of course, Capella was already paid for these credits. They told me I would have to make them up. This would cost me another two years of my life, and more money. The counselors performed a half-hearted job of pretending to want to help me, but forgot about me very quickly. Beware!!!!"

"Excellent academic institution (Hybrid Ph.D.). The best College Experience! In the Summer, I attended classes at North Western University, and Augsburg University. Capella University worked closely with these academic institutions, so that we could use their facilities, and me and my graduate classmates had the opportunity to dorm on campus. Capella University at the Graduate level is Hybrid, and yes you need to go to Minnesota! I strongly recommend this academic institution. There are many All but Dissertation (ABD) students, because they have failed to put in the hard work. If you decide to enroll, be ready to earn your degree. The grade, or the degree will not be given to you. In one occasion, I had an F in one of my courses, and I took it again. Do the work! putting in the time, learn, and prosper! Currently, I worked for the U.S. Government, and I teach as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Psychology. I have accomplished my academic goals, and professional endeavors thanks to this Academic Institution: Capella University AKA The Graduate School of America. Thank you for changing my life."

"HORRIBLE SCHOOL. THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY THE WORST SCHOOL I HAVE EVER ATTENDED! DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME! ADVISING IS A JOKE. Some of the instructors, literally one instructor was worth the time. The rest are horrible. Seriously do not waist your money or your time!"

"I have been attending Capella for several years and I am now in my dissertation program. The biggest complaint is the extreme slow turn around time from when you submit work to your mentor to when it gets returned for approval or corrections. I was told by my academic advisor that the mentor has 10 business days for review and return work that is substantial. In one case, I had to add a chart in which I did the same day and it took 13 days and several text messages and emails to get this work reviewed. I should have been able graduate in March this year but due to the slow turn-around process, maybe in August. There were times I am waiting weeks to get replies and if you considered the charges associated with attending, I am paying over $600 a week to do nothing. Now I have to go into another maybe two more quarters thus accumulating more debt. What a joke...Maybe it is time for a review of their business practices or even their accreditation.."

"The biggest compliment to the school is the orientation that I was required to complete before beginning my first class. Most professors have been great and informative, but a few have been lazy and did not really offer any instruction. The instructions for some papers need to be more clear. If a class offers supplemental instruction, take advantage of this because it was so helpful even after that class. There is a lot of reading required and you will do well to review assignments and post before reading to know what is most important. I sometimes question the grading policy. I have had at least one student in every class that writes posts with horrible grammar or just absolutely does not construct the post according to the guidelines. I wonder what actions are taken to help these students or at least make them aware of their errors. The school is accredited, but as with any school you want to make sure your program of study is accredited. If you are seeking licensure, check your state guidelines to make sure your program meets the requirements. I would advise e-mailing financial aid because I had an issue where they did not respond to my initial request and because I e-mailed the information I had proof and the issue was corrected. This is not a hand holding school, so if you need that, go elsewhere."

"Great program, and very applicable to real world business. Focused on leadership methodologies and theories which I could apply immediately. Each class was a learning opportunity and not just an exercise to get my degree. Capella's professors provided good guidance and feedback on submitted assessments. Tutors were always available though I didn't have to use their service. Flexpath program is geared to those students who want to manage their own timeline and are willing to put in the effort to learn at their own pace."

Graduation Year: 2016
"The experience I had while attending the MHA program through Capella University was both challenging and rewarding. The program is designed to build upon your professional experiences and it introduces you to new concepts that will serve you well in today's healthcare environment. I researched a number of online programs and felt that Capella fit both my lifestyle as well as my academic expectations as well. The program is competency based which I have found especially helpful as it helps me as a healthcare leader continually reevaluate my personal and professional growth. I highly recommend exploring their programs and consider taking the plunge! It will be well worth it and you will feel rewarded after all of your hard work. Side note: Don't be fooled by this being online or for profit the courses and the course expectations are just as challenging as a brick and mortar institution."
