"Do NOT attend this school. There are so many other options, pick them, and run away from this school. Teachers are useless, matter of fact everyone on this campus is useless. You will be treated just as a money sign because that's all they care about. Deans and teachers drop like flies here which means you'll have a "professor" that knows nothing about what they're teaching you. Terrible School, wish I read the reviews instead of going to this school. This school should be illegal to attend"

"I absolutely do NOT recommend this school whatsoever. It is full of adults who have NO CLUE what they are doing. They are always confused and unable to fix or manage ANYTHING. Teachers are no good, and when they finally got ONE good teacher they took her away from our class and moved her to something else. I do not recommend at all. The program is outdated, all the equipment doesn't work, all the supplies are expired, there is NO STRUCTURE WHAT SO EVER to the entire program. We pay 18,000+ to attend this college, that should not even be in business. I say again, they literally have NO IDEA what they are doing, not a single clue. None of the online stuff works properly, and the teachers don't know how to fix it. I just think you shouldn't waste your time here, yes its a 9 month program, so it is quick, but taking a 2 year program at a better college would be worth it. Take your money elsewhere, I promise."

"Well the reviews were definitely right this school is an absolute disaster! Administration and financial lie to you and don't give you all the details you need, the teachers are incompetent and aren't even correctly hired for the position. I was there for a week and didn't receive any help even when I asked for it, when I did decide to drop the class none of my calls were answered. I threatened to get my lawyer involved if I wasn't given an answer and then magically I was given answers right away and the attitude from the staff was unnecessary and uncalled for, they give you the run around and procrastinate! Do your research before you decide to go here, it is unreliable and unprofessional. DO NOT attend this college, it's a joke!"

"Carrington college was the biggest financial mistake i could make. Unqualified “teachers” unable to teach the subject matter and horrible handling of covid 19. Not to mention completely overpaid and by the time i realized how much i was being taken advantage of financially, it was too late. To call this facility a school is a stretch and it should be shut down immediately."

"admin is terrible and lies. professors are even worse. I would highly recommend not going to this school. Only thing that is good about it is that you finish quickly but I would say the incorrect information, lack of support, and terrible staff is 100 percent not worth it. I did not believe all of the bad reviews from other websites but they are all true. There is nothing good about this school."

"This school is a joke. Especially the Portland, Or. campus. They talk a good game to get you enrolled and then show their true colors after the fact. To parents who have younger adults enrolling... go with your children, read the fine print, and record conversations if possible. These people told may lies and tried to force me to pull student loans when I told them I was not interested and had another way that I would pay for my tuition. The person who enrolled never told me about the add drop period and when I decided to leave two weeks into my program, I was told that I would still be charged for the books, iPad, and two uniforms even though I never wore them. I was told to bring the uniform back to the school if it did not fit, but they could not take the uniforms back because I had removed the plastic from one of them to try on at home like I was told to do even though it was never worn to the school or anywhere else because of Covid-19. After I filed a BBB complaint, the tuition due for the time I spent with Carrington College was erased as a “customer service gesture,” but the school still hit me with a bill of $2,474 for the given supplies because the books and iPad were opened. They were so salty that I’d decided to further my education elsewhere that they were going to stick me with a bill regardless. I don’t know about any of the other campuses, but the one in Portland, OR. is not it."

"This college has been nothing but disorganized and confusing. They scheduled our only real break for a week in July, having this schedule I planned a vacation for that time slot. Almost a year after getting our schedules, my class found out that Carrington had scheduled our vacation time at the same time as the board exams that we are required to take and if we missed this time we would have to wait until december to take it again (this is two months after scheduled graduation). When I have tried getting more info on the board exams the teachers do not have any answers, We students have had to figure out almost the entire process on our own. I do not recommend this school to anyone and will strongly advise to find any other program. For $60,000, you would think that you would be getting a quality education that is well thought out, planned, and with the resources needed to succeed. However, I found only the opposite of that to be true. The teacher turn-over rate has been insane and we have had different teachers each term, which has changed our semester schedules and cut all of our clinical hours in half due to the lack of staff. The teachers have been nice, however, Carrington overall has been an absolute disaster."

"The Ma teachers are amazing, they gave me the tools when I went on my externship. I am thankful for all the support. They have a great job placement center. The college is there to support and help you in anyway. I learned more at this college than Pima you get what you pay for."

"The hygiene program is outrageously expensive. For a two year program it should not cost $70,000. They do prepare you well for the office environment. The program layout is identical to other hygiene programs at other schools so you know you are getting equal education."

"I agree that conditions are not ideal, but we are in a pandemic. The instructors for the surgical technology program are great. They are all experienced and good teachers. The only issue is the administrative higher ups. They don't seem to be in touch with what is going on elsewhere, but that doesn't affect me. I anticipate getting a great, high paying job after I graduate."

"This school does not care about the welfare of its students. It`s only concern is the money that it gets from the students. Sacramento is shutting down schools and going remotely, but this Sacramento Campus requires students to come to the campus while the administrators remain in the office with 6 layers of mask to protect themselves. Most other schools are online during this pandemic period, but Carrington because it does not care if the student dies and leaves them with free money, it wants the students to come to school."

"If you attend Carrington... Finish. Don't drop out. Don't attend here if you can't commit. Or you will have an expensive student loan, and No degree. Carrington does suck the money out of you! I went here for my LPN financially it was worth it. I paid a lot of money for my program 30,000. I had student loans, and grants which helped. I now make 25 dollars an hour, as a LPN. So it was worth it for me. But If your not going to finish it. Or dedicate your time to studying. You will regret it!!!"

"This is a terrible school to attend if you are needing financial aid. While my teacher was absolutely great the same cannot be said about the financial aid department or the payment plan department. They do not communicate well with each other or with the students. They don’t communicate what it is they are needing from you or when. They don’t explain how or why things changed in your financial situation. They only send collection letters with no explanation. I would suggest not attending this school."

"Do not attend this college.....They want you to fail and repeat the 1/4 so more money on your part. Class was so stressful at times a few students had anxiety attacks....no degree and time wasted....failed last quarter and asked to repeat the course...Another class was not available for 8 months!!!!!!! Do not waste your time.. Go to another college where you will get a degree...."

"I was never enrolled in this "school" and I will explain why. I was interested in the Medical Billing and Coding certificate but decided against it. The recruiters are extremely pushy and want you to go in on a tour which I didn't do since I simply wanted to know if it would be affordable or if I could study online. I'm glad I didn't waste my time with a tour. The nine-month certification costs $15194.00 and I would only have had a small chunk of it covered by financial aid, and long story short, they wanted me to pay $2550.00 within ten months WHILE studying. Why can't the remainder be deferred until getting the certification? Does Carrington not know or simply not care that the reason some people opt to take these courses is to be able to make more money upon completion and probably can't afford to pay thousands of dollars upfront? It's ridiculous and they should be ashamed of how greedy they are. Also, if I ever were to complete the certification, how would I be able to be sure that it would actually help me find a job in my area? I bet they don't help with job placement or even have lists of places that hire their students. I'm so glad, especially after reading other reviews about this place, that I didn't go through with it. I wouldn't have given them a single cent."

"Do not waste your time and money unless you have alot of it. If you do not pass a test above 73 percent you will fail the course and have to retake the whole quarter...More $$$$ and there is no guarantee that you will complete the course. Many students fail and or quit. Check out the stats on graduating from a program."

"Students are getting accepted to this school by cheating on the admissions test. Yes, they get all the test answers and unfortunately take someone’s else’s spot that didn’t have the test answers. Just like the celebrities buying their kids into college, but without the big money, just the test answers. Pretty sad and disgusting if you are trying to get in but you didn’t get a spot because a cheater got the spot."

"Run as far away from this school as possible. The program has gone so down hill since I started and it's only getting worse. They have a program director at my campus that would rather make fun of her students and make them feel bad about themselves then teach them. She's so bad only 3 instructors have stayed, while everyone else quit. She hired this kids that are fresh from school to be instructors without any previous teaching experience or education in teaching. I've noticed every one of her little minions she has recently hired are just getting more and more rude to the classes. Probably trying to prove themselves by failing all the students. Multiple students including myself have gone to the higher ups to complain and was then threatened to be kicked out of the program by the program director when she found out about the complaints. It's gotten so bad I vomit almost daily just having to deal with her harassment. They have not taught me anything new about vet tech since term 1 and honestly I'm not surprised since no one knows what they are doing. Save your mental health and go literally anywhere else but Carrington college esp the southern California campus."

"I have been going to Carrington College for about 3 months now for Medical Billing and Coding. I must say I am not very impressed in any way. For the price of the program (15000+) The program has not offered real world education. A lot of class time is wasted. Nothing changes as the weeks go by. same discussions same format, same types of papers and powerpoints, as the weeks go by nothing new is introduced. New students are mixed with Students that have been in class for Months it makes no sense. This program is 9 months but 3 months of the education I have received could be taught in less then a week. But I personally think in my own opinion that its about money and slowing dragging a class out for money. Bottom Line I am not impressed with the program, school, instructors and the price of this program is not worth the education you receive."

"Oh god this school is horrible. My experience was a little better after I switched financial aid advisors. I do not recommend Yana as a financial aid advisor, she is so rude! I ended up leaving because she wasn’t helping me with my financial aid. She rarely answered my emails, or returned any of my phone calls. This school could be great if the staff weren’t so awful."
