I thought CCN was helpful at first and the course are wonderful. I'm very unhappy that they held on to my refunds so long and I had to fight to get. They still holding on to my scholarship money for my May course and will not give me credit for the full amount. I have spent so much time trying to get my money. Can't do anymore courses because I have a family and need to work. The financial office not only they did not help me but caused me more unnecessary time spent on something that should have been taken care of. Ask to talk to administration or the president and they said they didn't know how to contact them. So I will finish with another school.I will warn others
I actually graduated from Chamberlain with my BSN as a blended program and am finding my masters as an online program. It is consistent in terms of program quality. Some classes are very hard, some are easier, some instructors are amazing, and some repeat the same syllabus year after year. They are more strict (as they should be) in the graduate program as we are preparing for masters level career. I passed boards as an undergrad with 75 questions. I knew my material well and seemed to do better than my peers that didn't go to chamberlain. However, just like any school, what you put in is what you get out. The only bummer is it can be very difficult to find a preceptor for your clinical sites in the masters program. I wish there was a better set up or network for that.
Overall great experience for all of my nursing degrees. Education is current and financial/student services helped time and time again. The clinical coordinators leave some to be desired but clinical placement is a sore spot in every program. Highly recommend it
As a current student of CCN, I have received the most amazing experience. The instructors are interactive, and interested in the students growth. The curriculum supports a masters level education. You are expected to physically demonstrate your knowledge base, and assessment skills in a clinical setting with multiple educators. CCN has exceed my expectations after receiving my BSN at a brick and mortar institution, I am elated with my online education.
I love Chamberlain. I had such a wonderful exeprience with the BSN program that I had to go back to get my MSN-FNP. I had great experience with professors ,they give feed back on time, and promptly return phone calls. The finance department was helpful in getting my financial aid process as quickly as possible.
I started to go to Walden for my FNP but I was not happy with their online platform. In so glad I choose chamberlain. They really walk you through things and instruct you. I feel like I maybe more prepared than friends of mine that have went through a standard campus program. Probably the only downside is getting preceptor agreements in place but that is a problem everywhere right now.
CCN is a great place to continue your education and further your career with a busy life. The rigorous curriculum prepares you for life long learning needed as an evidence based ARNP. Look for preceptors and clinical sites early as they can be difficult to find.
So far, I have found Chamberlain's program affordable, student services and tech services user friendly and the instructors constructive with empowering expansion of the understanding of the topics required to pass the boards. As with any online program, self direction and motivation are required to be successful. Instructors have been supportive, I am 73% complete with the program and have an overall great experience with the instructors.
This school is very student friendly. They vigorously prepare us to be competent practitioners. The classes are mostly online with the exception of the last five practicum courses. I am earning my degree in 2 and a half years with only taking one class at a time. Excellent program for the working adult
Classes were adequate, teachers varied as I think they would with any school. Most instructors responded to questions quickly. Be sure to read syllabus and follow to the letter. No assistance with finding Practicum Site, I was worried that I would not be able to find one in time. I have found that an MSN Executive Track degree is basically useless. Pick a different track!
