Degree: Family Practice Nurse/Nursing
Graduation Year: 2017

The support staff and instructors are all focused on helping students to be successful in attaining their degree. I have been very satisfied with the format, instructor involvement, and instructor feedback. The student services department is very helpful and able to answer all questions and help with whatever is needed. My practicum coordinator is very knowledgeable and helpful in approving my practicum sites and making sure all requirements are met.

I worked hard & followed the syllabus as closely as possible. Completing classes online is difficult but this program keeps you interactive and deadlines for assignments are straightforward and realistic. CCN's library & resources were very impressive. It takes a little time to realize all that they have available in their student resources but it is wise to get acquainted with it early on because it will save you so much time when searching for EBP. I felt prepared coming out of the program. CCN offers a review course at the end of their program. It not only prepares you for boards but also in daily practice with utilization of practice guidelines and EBP. As with anything, you get out of it what you put into it. I had a job offer prior to graduation and have accepted a position!!

Degree: Nurse Practitioner (Family)

This program is continually trying to challenge their students and push them to pursue the most appropriate learning environments for their learning. As a distance learning student I was grateful for the guidance and support towards my masters degree.

Degree: Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Amazing school that allows the ability to be a working mom as well as a student! The professors push you to do your best and is top notch education for an on-line program. Yes, it is an on-line program therefore, strict time management skills are required to be successful. You must also find your own clinical site. However, most schools require this.

I love this school. There are so many negative comments from people but they are all personal opinions. I love that school is flexible for those of us who are working and have families. I feel that this school provides us with the sufficient knowledge to be able to practice in my clinical setting. Yes, we have to find our clinical preceptors but that is okay because after all its a masters program there will be no one to hold your hand and nor should you expect it. I like that the online setting is very much organized and if you need help there is help available. This school is not for those people who think that they don't have to work for their degree because you get what you invest in this education. I definitely recommend this school.

Pros- Instructors are great and provide excellent feedbacks. I've learned a lot and enjoying being able to learn in an online environment that is flexible to my schedule. Weekly case studies are challenging but help so much with clinicals and for future practice. Cons- Need to find own clinical sites which is a difficult process, however, most schools require the same.

CCN offers working professionals the opportunity to pursue a higher education with online classes. This program requires a substantial amount of reading and writing. It will.give you back what you put into it. No secret there. Instructors are helpful

Degree: Nursing
Graduation Year: 2010

Chamberlain College of Nursing has a great online program for RN-BSN. I loved that they offered 8 week classes. The instructors were helpful and followed the guidelines set up for the classes. I was able to advance as a nurse after earning my RN-BSN. I will be attending Chamberlain College of Nursing for my MSN-FNP this Fall.

Chamberlain online allowed me what other brick and mortar schools could not. Flexibility. Otherwise my dream of obtaining a masters would not be within reach. Was the studies easy? No most certainly not. You must be dedicated and devoted to spending the time required to review and learn the material as with any other school. Did I have any issues. No more than I would have at any other school. Some instructors were awesome, others were not. That goes along with any school you attend. I am very pleased with my education, although it has been a long and time consuming 2 1/2 years. I have learned so much and I am grateful for the opportunity provided by Chamberlain to pursue my masters.
