I enrolled in the FNP program and have been attending classes since September 2023. After completing my MSN in nursing education from another school, I was informed that I would graduate in December 2024. After my second and third class, when I began to prepare my practicum compliance items, AFTER SECURING A PRECEPTOR.  I was notified of an additional class that I would need to finish before beginning practical lessons. Per to the advisor, "Don't worry about those since you now have plenty of time... Read More

The professors are well informed, kind, helpful, and patient. The online learning experience felt like a real classroom. Coupled with the assistance from the available learning resources at my disposal, my studies became more successful. Despite the huge tuition, I am sure of receiving top quality training. Therefore I look forward to becoming an extraordinary nurse.

I acquired my BSN degree at Chamberlain University and currently pursuing MSN degree online. I have nothing but good experiences at Chamberlain. The admission representatives, academic advisers and instructors are very friendly and knowledgeable. At Chamberlain, you have all the support and resources you need to succeed.

The professors are kind, helpful, and intelligent. Going to school from home has given me back the time that I needed to take care of my family, making school balance achievable. I find time to rest and enjoy more of life. Excellent experience for me.

Fast paced nursing program is just what I needed to help obtain my BSN. The night/weekend program is convenient for full time employees and individuals with children. I will be continuing to attend to get my MSN with Chamberlain. I enjoy all the opportunities that is offered, you can be as involved as your schedule allows. Highly recommend for someone who is unsure about which school to attend. Additionally, the amount of resources that is provided is helpful for individuals to find out the best... Read More

Chamberlain touts themselves on being flexible for working RN’s but in reality they really are not. As a night shift working single mom, my whole reason for choosing this school was for flexibility.. They tell you that assignments are due by Sunday each week , but the truth is if you don’t have assignments in by Wednesday each week, you will get nasty grams from the school and instructors, despite what the syllabi says.

Chamberlain is the typical online college in which you teach yourself, and half of the instructors do not reply to anything. One course my instructor wasn't grading or posting aside from what was preset. The trouble comes when you attempt to find a practicum site. They say that they "help" find preceptors if you are struggling, but this is absolutely untrue. There is no number to call and talk to an actual person, you have to e-mail and hope they get back. They also push you to continue despite not... Read More

It's actually pretty weird because the program is initially very doable for someone who has a family, career, or other obligations but then out of the blue the NR509 course becomes a nightmare. The immense and constant pressure is horrible for the learning environment. I don't believe I've ever felt this mentally on edge and I've completed 4 programs. I've reached out to instructors several times with concerns about my grade but no one was willing to provide any direction (not asking for answers... Read More

My advisor at Chamberlain is very disorganized. If I ever have a simple question, I will call them and be on the phone for hours, being transferred multiple times during the call, until finally someone answers me. The school is very large and very disorganized. Also I have been taking classes for over a year and can honestly say I have not gained much if any knowledge.

Chamberlain University has truly been a blessing in disguise for me. My husband is active duty military, so with that comes the possibility of relocation. Chamberlain University's staff has been extremely accommodating to the military changes and helpful when we had to relocate in the middle of classes. I am looking forward to continuing my education with Chamberlain as the staff and courses have been excellent to do. At the college where I received my associate in applied science, I had academic... Chamberlain allowed me to pursue my dream and opened so many doors for myself and family. I was able to balance family life with my schooling and that meant everything to me as I have 4 little girls under 10. I was able to graduate SUMMA and now have an amazing job as a CVICU nurse. I’m so grateful for everything they’ve done for me

Getting my Master's degree at Chamberlain University is the worst expense I've ever made. The program is subpar, but clinical placement and approval is horrendous. Same complaint as everyone else here - I will have to sit out for 8 weeks to no fault of my own. I've paid $8,000 for my clinical sites in addition to the program's cost. I work full time - I've taken time off & that money is also wasted. I do worry that I'll be able to land a job from this school. Waste of time, energy, and money.

This school practically goes out of its way to ensure you don't graduate on time. I had a practicum application in in February that was not addressed until August, and am now sitting out September session. They ensure you have paid enough by the time you rely on them to get things done that you really cannot drop out, and you can't switch programs or even schools because their credits are worthless other places. I regret and feel shame that I chose Chamberlain. Every day I feel sick to my stomach... Read More

Chamberlain FNP program is a nightmare once you enter the second year specifically assessment class on. You need to find your own clinical placement- ok fine hard enough... but then they must approve it. They take months to approve with no communication at all. You can try to email and call everyday with no answer. The teachers do not teach, only grade. There are no lectures, you must just read the book. I have 3 friends in the program and we all have nothing but horror stories to tell. Asking teachers... Read More

The first 2 years were okay. Customer service was adequate. Classes were okay. Instructors were mostly responsive within 48hrs. Once being accepted into the MSN program, everything changed. Customer service was ZERO. No kidding. The computer generated patient assessment did not prepare many of the students for the real world. We all had a hard time. And no one would call back from the program. Literally, an assistant called me stating that she had been hired, trained for an hour, and was told to... Read More

I graduated with a 3.7 GPA. The course work left me unprepared. The customer service is absolutely horrible. I could never get an advisor or anyone on the phone for anything but if you call and say you’re a prospective student you get through right away. This “ college” does not value its current students. The professors do not care and don’t really even read your work. You’ll pass if you show up for the online courses. I was doing a grant program with my place of work and let me tell you that my... There is no transparency to this school. Once your onboard you are left to your own device. The other day they did an ACH from bank account unauthorized. I am currently in the process of leaving the school. Getting out while I am still early before any more errors on their behalf which I suffer the consequences from their actions.

When you sign in they are quick with the process for their own convenience.....once you start your classes you are on your own. You are left with no support, teachers don't support you, and they don't care about your future or anything regarding your success. When it comes to clinical sites, there is no support, not even to get a list of places as a reference......0 support, if you have a question regarding your clinicals, they will not answer your calls nor emails......I regret starting this program... I graduated in 2021 from the BSN program and had a great experience. I am in my last few months of the FNP program, which has been a disaster. The program, coursework, instructors, and immersion weekend have been fine; however, the coordination of preceptors and practicum sites has been ridiculous and unbelievable.
