"The MBA program was great!I completred it online and was taught by both traditional (PhD) and practitioner faculty who really helped apply the course work in a real world context. It's a small school compared to other local research based institutions but is still very good.City U recently started its first doctoral level program, so in the future, it may become a more research focused school, but in the meantime, it is largely a teaching based school which is just great for undergraduate and masters level students. The new downtown campus will provide a central location and enhance the schools reputation.I would highly recommend this school to anyone. As for accreditation, the university is regionally accredited by the Northwest Association of schools and colleges (NWASC) which includes all major schools in the region (UW, WSU, SU, SPU etc).In addition, the business school is accredited by ACBSP which focuses on teaching focused colleges and universities. Perhaps in the future they will seek AACSB accreditation which focuses on research based schools, although I don't think this really matters to non doctoral level students. I have seen City U mentioned in AACSB publications, so perhaps they are a "member" of AACSB.City U is also one of a handful of universities accredited by the Project Management Institute. This is also very prestigious and helpful.Overall I am very happy with my experience here even though the program was very demanding, but which school isn't?I would definitely recommend this school to others and believe that it's reputation will continue to grow."
