Cleveland State University Reviews
Cleveland State University was an awesome school for me and I enjoyed all of my classes at the university. I attended the Levin Schools of Urban Studies which is considered one of the best schools of this type in the country. The professors and the classes were amazing. I really enjoyed the experience and believe that others would enjoy the school as much as I did.
I graduated from Cleveland State University in the fall semester of 2016. I loved basically all of my professors because they are so knowledgeable of their subjects and they are also very caring teachers. There is plenty of tutoring offered at Cleveland State as well, if ever you need help with your school work. Another great aspect of this school is that the student advisers there are wonderful if ever you need guidance or clarification about your major or class scheduling. The school is very diverse because it has students from all over the world go there and we all learn a little bit from each other. Plus, Cleveland State University always celebrates it's students by having games for students, or some other activity and free food. Cleveland State University is an all around great school.
Cleveland State helped me to become the professional I am today. The professors taught the accounting courses with a focus towards students pursuing the CPA exam. I am now CPA and thanks to the schools focus on networking as well, I have a great career in a Fortune 500 company.
I enjoyed Cleveland State University due to its diversity of students and student activities. CSU also has partnerships with hospitals in the area which makes it easy to find employment. The only issue I had were that my graduating class basically were guinea pigs for the new curriculum. Hopefully our input improved the program even more!
CSU is an amazing school for business students. The professors are real life and give you real life examples. The school itself is clean and state of the art. All services you can have through the school was helpful and devoted to helping you get where you need to be for graduation, career, information.
Cleveland State University is a very unique institution. It is placed almost in the middle of downtown Cleveland and provides you with all the entertainment you could ask for. I will complete my Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry in May 2017 then I will go on to pharmacy school with hopes of becoming a clinical pharmacist. Cleveland State's professors have prepared me very well for my future career, and I think they played a big part in helping me do very well on my PCAT exam. Most of the professors in the Chemistry department are currently conducting cutting edge research of their own which makes them very knowledgeable and engaged in the courses they are teaching. Cleveland State's advisers make scheduling a breeze and they make sure you take all of the courses needed to complete your specific degree. I am very pleased with my decision to attend Cleveland State because I know they have equipped me with a solid base of knowledge that I will need for my future.
CSU isn't a bad university - it's just that there are better options for the cost. If you're considering CSU - I implore you to consider 2 years at Tric C first and then applying to a well known online program like WGU that will cost less and give you a better education
This is a local commuter school that has made a lot of structural improvements in more recent years. They do not offer much in terms of career services, but they have a wide variety of degree programs available in-person and online. The school is getting better, but there are still many challenges.
CSU is a great, smaller college for students that want a decent education for cheaper. The staff in the business building are very kind and caring and try their best to get you as far as possible while obtaining your degree. They advertise co-ops, internships, and they help place you once you're completed with your degree. Overall, a good education for the money.
Its an urban college. The campus is expanding, and becoming more of a less commuter college. Many majors and minors to pick from.
