"College of Saint Mary is a small private institution that is a primarily female student population. I selected this program due to the schedule and degree, but was very dissatisfied with the cost and politics."

"College of Saint Mary is a women's college that is dedicated in empowering women to be strong, educated, and leaders in the community. With their 5-year Occupational Therapy and Physicians Assistant Programs, their 3-4 year Nursing program, and some of the best education and paralegal programs in the state of Nebraska, it strives push you to make the most of your talents. This school also has a special program for single mothers in which single mothers and their children live on campus in their own dorms. They have a Single Parent Success program that helps and guide these women to have a better future for them and their children."

"The professors and instructors genuinely care about their students and their success. They provide additional work with students to ensure that everyone reaches their full potential as a teacher. The quality of these instructors is exceptional and it is near impossible to leave class without learning and feeling energized (even after 8 hour days). The only downside is that such a stellar education comes at such a high price. It is a private school, so understandably it is more pricey and well worth the cost, but ideally, such amazing resources would better serve the community by being available to a larger demographic of people pursuing a graduate degree in teaching."

  • Degree: Paralegal
"I found the quality of education I received in College of Saint Mary's Paralegal Studies Graduate Certificate to be excellent. The classes were all taught by attorneys and prepared me very well to take a job as a legal assistant even before I graduated. The classes were structured to accommodate working students, with in-person class meetings every other Saturday and Sunday on campus in Omaha. This made it simple for a working adult to complete course work and attend classes. Many students in my cohort were married, had children and worked full-time, all of which often preclude full-time classes. I would enthusiastically recommend this program to anyone looking to start a career as a paralegal or interested in getting an idea of legal studies before law school. This program is ABA approved, which not only lends credibility to the degree, but also means that the requirements to keep approval are higher, and therefore so is the quality of the education."

"I feel that the pros of the Master of Arts Teaching prpgrams are the lenegth of the program which is an year and half. And that is give you the opporounity to gain a career in no time from very well known and accredit university. The only con I can think of is the cost about 20,000, which is more student loan debt."

"The pros of the graduate program are that we receive a lot of one on one attention because the class sizes are so small and that we have a say in where we would like to go for our 3 month rotations. The cons of the graduate program are that at the moment they are completely revamping the OT program so there have been many changes, some positive and other negative."
