"First of all - my advisors go through revolving door so frequently - I never know who is my advisor. Whenever I email them, I get "out of office." My IT degree requirements were a joke, they wanted me to take "Accounting" for a "required course. Most of my instructors respond nearly a day later. So if you come home from work, as most of us do, you started asking question to your instructor, you won't get it until the next day when you come home from work. There goes time. Many of my instructors are super vague with their instructions, they expect you to be already all knowing that is why you are going to school to learn s*** you already know. Most of them are PhD, and yet they are super dull. They have no people skills. They can't teach."

"I highly recommend CSU-Global for a few specific reasons- 1. Online - I live in the Middle East but wanted an American master's degree. The freedom and flexibility that online schooling provides can't be beat when you work full time and can't move to where the college is. 2. Affordable - With scholarships and opportunities for discounts, my master of science in teaching and learning was surprisingly affordable. 3. Professors - Just like any brick and mortar school, some teachers and students care more than others. CSU- Global is no exception. I never had an careless instructors but I did experience some that cared more than others. This is natural and a reality of education in many ways. 4. Learning - With online learning you get out what you put in. In nearly 2 years I probably wrote over 50 papers, created a teaching toolkit website, completed several in-module assessments (not graded), and read so many research papers and watched hours of educational footage. I enjoyed the multi-faceted approach to learning and know I'm a better equipped and more knowledgable teacher than when I began."

"warning!!! This university is fake and worthless. All they really car about money. I do not want to talk about the education quality and what do you really learn through their programs. I want to warn others that when it comes to real life and work force you would be depressed to find that taking similar or equivalent courses at a community college would look better on your resume and more respected. Not to mention it is a lot cheaper and they also have a lot of online courses as well. The school standard is very low and i could not transfer any credit to some other universities when i was looking for a second bachelor or a master program. To be fair, it would probably work if you are in a career and just needed a degree to help advance or promote to a higher level withing the same agency or company. Other than it is just a waste of time and money. Even their master programs do not require gmat or any other test to be qualified unlike any other university cause its business and money is the goal."

"Yeah... Good luck getting an official transcript if you ever need one. Paid my outstanding balance over 3 months ago now and they still won't release a transcript. Worst school I've ever been to on all levels. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT GO HERE"

"At first, like many, I was very skeptical about taking online classes. I had finished my bachelors at a traditional 4yr school so online courses didn't really seem like they would be helpful. Boy was I wrong! CSU-global is organized, professors are attentive, and the learning experience is a lot better than the traditional in a class setting. A week's worth of work: 1 discussion post (must always have scholarly articles for support), two responses to classmates, and typically a 5pg paper. I'm working a full-time job and can manage this-its not that bad. The discussion post force you to interact with your classmates, which is excellent because it enhances the learning experience, and the professor gives you constructive criticism! I honestly love it.Another awesome perk1. Resume Review- you literally submit your resume a professor reviews it and send you the edits you need to make2. Internship: You can interchange a class for a course! great opportunity3. Financial aid is responsive, organized4. THE PRICE!!! You're not being charged an arm and a leg to further your education. 5. Scholarship opportunity- honestly haven't taken advantage of this but they do have excellent opportunitiesThis is only my 4th class with the school, so I will edit my review as I progress with my education. I wanted to post this review because as I was searching for the right college, I stumbled upon this site, which prevented me from starting a lot sooner. If you see the trend in the bad reviews its really just because of the work, why would you expect it to be easy? If something is just handed to you, is it worth earning? Stay committed, and think what will be the ROI if I go to this school."

"While not all of the professors were fantastic, I am glad I chose CSU-Global. In order to complete an online Master's and individual must be dedicated. CSU is very structured with specific due dates. Individuals who consider themselves to be procrastinators should not enroll in CSU because it would be very easy to fall behind and become frustrated. I chose CSU because I did not have to participate in group activities (other than weekly posts) for any of my classes. I work full-time and have a family, so I wanted a program that fit into my schedule. The live sessions were optional rather than required."

"Online courses, regardless of the institution, will always require the student to do the heavy lifting - no exception here. You will have to take ownership of your time and effort to receive a quality experience. Every professor that I had, with maybe one exception, was helpful and made thoughtful comments on discussion posts and provided helpful feedback on assignments. You will write papers - tons and tons of papers, which require a deeper understanding of the topics than could be gained from cramming for a test. It's not for everyone, but I can honestly say that the class format and schedule at CSU Global made it infinitely easier to keep track of assignments compared to the online courses I'd taken at another campus. I will say that I found a few dead links for recommended reading in the course materials, which is disappointing, but if you can't take the initiative to search the school's library database for another source...you may not be cut out for online learning."

"I have taken both in-class courses and online courses, I would still prefer online due to the fact of convenience and it helps me grow as a person by being able to comprehend information in order to succeed. After reading a couple of the reviews, I have to say that the personnel making the bad remarks are mainly the ones who don't understand the concept of online college. If you can't be self motivated, self discipline and do things that adults do, then stay with your brick and mortar style college. If you can comprehend the course work, you can succeed in any online course. This college worked for me; I am a father, husband, full-time employee and coach youth sports, so a brick and mortar class was not an option. In my opinion, it would have been too much driving and hearing whining young people complain about things that us older people managed to get by without, i.e. cell phone, internet, etc. This school provides you with weekly module materials to review, you take part in a weekly discussion, take a mastery test and complete a critical thinking paper with proper APA format. If you need your hand held to do college work, stay in a classroom setting. I had no issues with professors at CSU-Global, advisors were helpful and you can call them if you really need to take care of an issue.... yes a phone call not just play email tag, like many have stated. Be proactive and go seek what your looking for from the school. Some classes are pretty interesting and can have you grow a grey hair or two but the material is provided to help you research and find the answer. I have had prior leadership training and that is why I chose this degree, you can add specializations if you wish. I added a Criminal Justice Specialization and have learned a lot from taking those courses, I will graduate in less than a month."

"This is a grate school. I have two kids in a campus college also. Its harder in that its all online but if you have questions or need help you can email or call which is exactly what my kids do. They can choose to not go to lecture because thier courses are pod cast which is pretty much the same. Everything is due at the same time every week so no pop quizes. You have to teach yourself a little but I am older and have a ton of experience so I like it that way. Had trouble with two instructors but no different than any other school. The instructors are highly educated and work actively in thier field. Financial aid and my advisor were very helpful way more helpful than my daughters school that literally pops up new charges after financial aid is applied every five minutes. They are horrible but never had an issue with CSU. Called my advisor so.much I think she was annoyed but never showed it! Going to commencement in Denver in June! Yay! Never could move into positions I wanted because I didnt have a degree so now, sky is the limit!"

Disappointed - 4/25/2019
Degree: Accounting

"No graduation here! What a waste of time and money. Disappointed with classes is an understatement. Part of the problem is the course materials are reused so they are just given to the instructor. The instructor just tells you if your numbers are wrong but not why. If you ask why you get no response. If you want to learn from mistakes on projects you get no response. Do they even know why themselves these instructors ? I doubt it. Thousands of online students and taking in profits at the expense of ordinary working people trying to learn online. What a shame."
