"Highly recommended for self-motivated adult learners. I really have no idea what people are expecting when they attend college online. I see lots of reviews complaining about the fact that they have to provide research papers weekly and a longer portfolio project. Yes, this is true. Do they hold your hand? No, they do not. Are most professors highly approachable and friendly, willing to answer questions about the subject matter? Absolutely. Bottom line: If you attend CSU-Global you will do lots of research (reading -huge amounts-), answer discussion posts and prove that your studies paid off via the research report. AND you will be treated like an ADULT with EXPECTATIONS that you MANAGE TIME appropriately. Is it easy to write research papers? No, it is not. But you learn so much if you are willing to put in the work. Once you graduate, CSU-Global is HIGHLY committed to your success as well."

"How is a student supposed to have faith in an online university if you can't access your assignments because of non-stop maintenance? 3/4 of the time I could not even login into the portal, and when I did get logged in, the portal had limited functionality. Because of this, I decided that I would withdraw as I didn't have faith in their online learning environment. When attending an online university, you should be able to access your assignments any time of the day Note: This was only my second week in and I plan on not re-enrolling. This was extremely frustrating, as I was really hoping to complete my Bachelor's degree."

"Best decision I ever made. The school was awesome in every way. The fees were reasonable and as long as you did your work and turned in all assignments the professors helped you achieve your goals. I have not even received my diploma yet and got a huge raise at work just for completing my Bachelors. Please make a difference and change your life. Pick this school. You will not regret it."

"Colorado State Universitys Global Campus is an online campus that allows for student everywhere to enhance their educations and continue their lives, while changing themselves for the better. It is an educational institution that prepared me well for perusing a higher education. The schools online format, and the accelerated programming, made learning easy and fun while allowing me to continue working. Without the availability of an online format, working full-time, and going to school full-time would not have been possible. My degree, in Human Services, was well presented. The school provided excellent materials to ensure I was adequately informed about my chosen field and would have relevant information to complete papers and other class assignments. Additionally, the professors were very knowledgeable and provided a great deal of insight, and many personal experiences, to enhance learning objectives. The professors gave great feedback on both assignments and discussions. They also maintained consistent and appropriate communication with the students in both the online classroom setting and through the personal contact, when needed. Both the faculty and the school were understanding of the stresses and dedication involved in earning an online degree. The school provided access to many literary sources, which was included in the tuition price. The cost of an undergraduate degree at this university is comparable to many other state schools and was offset by the many opportunities to receive Colorado State University Global Campus scholarships. Personally, these scholarships made it possible for me to continue my education and earn my undergraduate degree."

"I have recently graduated with a bachelor's from CSU Global. Overall, it was a good learning experience that prepared me for a promotion at work. Taking classes here is not for those who cannot manage their time. You have to put in the work, every day. I have fallen behind a couple times, and it can be difficult to catch up. The professors are for the most part helpful, though I have had a couple who seem to be running on autopilot. Grading can vary, some are strict while others are not, similar to ordinary schools. It is all self taught, you have to put the effort in to learn, and do the research. The material is not going to be forced down your throat. A discussion board post is due each week with 2 replies to others posts. A 2-3, sometimes 3-4 page paper is due most weeks, with a 8-10 page portfolio project due by week 8."

"I left before I graduated. The instructors are so poorly attentive. The level of instruction is not at a college level. They mark down papers and have to return the points they marked off due to their negligence. I do not recommend this college. It is not a scholarly environment."

"I enjoyed this school. I had trouble with my adviser at the beginning, but that was rectified and have been satisfied since. The work can be intense, but it is only 8 weeks so that makes sense. I loved the tutoring site. It was a real asset for the essay reviews and math. I think it can be like many professors in brick and mortar schools, some give really good feedback and others it can be a struggle. You should be prepared to learn a lot on your own, and do a lot research because that is part of the online experience."

"I'm a very late bloomer and decided to get my bachelors degree in my mid-40s. I loved the flexibility of working from home when it was convenient. I also think I learned and retained far more in this format because we were required to do so much reading, and so much writing. Rather than cramming for a test, I was immersed in the subjects by reading, and then wrote papers on the subject. Yes, so much reading and writing takes a lot of time, but as a college student--at ANY school--you have to be prepared to commit the time. My instructors were all very responsive and knowledgeable. I have recommended CSU-G to many people."

"This is the first time I am doing online course. I chose CSU- global campus because fees here was very low compared to other colleges & secondly there was no need to answer GMAT. Its just 4 weeks have completed in this college & I have started feeling this is my mistake that i opted for this college. It is the worst college, where all you to do is study on your own. There is no help from professors. every week we need o submit critical assignment , portfolio assignment, around 4-6 pages & at the end the grades which you receive are very low. they will deduct your marks for nonsense reasons. they will give more importance to the format of the paper than the content. i don't understand what type of English the professor expects , who will always deduct your marks saying the sentence is poorly framed. You have to study almost everyday & at the end you get so less marks. Worst part is you need to always give reference for each n every sentence you write. That means you cant give your own suggestions, infact when the question itself asks give your suggestions. I feel I am simply paying to this college for just reading the material from the book & internet. There is no involvement from the college or instructors in your studies."

"This school has great advisers and supportive with extending financial payment due dates a few weeks. The classes are great, however some material repeat the first few weeks. It is fast pace and I would advise doing one at a time unless you know you'll have time to commit to the reading. Reading the material will help you retain the knowledge and the assignments reinforce many of the core topics. Some of the classes are more challenging than others. Another recommendation is to understand the course topics including for your specialization. If your specialization is the similar to your core classes, you'll face a lot of similar information. It's better to take a specialization that distinguishes your core classes from the specialization. The only thing I would score down is that the assignments sometimes, not typically, do not go deep enough into the subject. But overall, you learn plenty to succeed in finance. I would suggest an option for real estate finance also."
