"Colorado Technical University wasn't my first choice. I transferred from another college that shut down. I am so glad that I did, this school has given me the confidence that I needed to carry on since I was so disappointed in my other school. The staff the administration has always been there whenever I needed them, this was the best decision I have ever made. I am now getting my Bachelors degree and I am very excited ."

"This school once they don't explain your disbursements well then I received my disbursement super late..Now they're saying i don't get the 3 disbursements through the year i was supposed to get and i only get 1 disbursement for the whole year and now i have to pay them $170.00 and they're trying to force me to sign a early payment plan or i can't finish out the year...I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL IF YOU HAVE A LOW BUDGET LIFE AND CHILDREN. THIS SCHOOL PURPOSELY TRIES TO RIP YOU OFF...IF YOU ARE A SINGLE MOTHER I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL..IT SEEMS LIKE A GREAT IDEA AT FIRST BUT THEY ARE NOT...LOOK FOR BETTER OPTIONS"

"I have been going to see to you for about a year my graduation date is February of 2020 all of a sudden my transcripts are not right I don't have a 2017 W2 I have sent all this information in and still they don't accept it whatever I do to try to help my financial aid out and not get kicked out of school is just not enough for them I was supposed to graduate in February 2020 for my associates my associates in science in Business Administration but looks like I won't be doing it now because I'm about to get kicked out of school within the next two weeks and I have my financial aid on hold so I don't even get a disbursement I'm broke I don't have any money this school is taking it all and I'm not even close I don't know what they want I can't do anything more so I am going to be looking for another school and hopefully I'll be successful I'm pregnant just learned I was pregnant one month so great this is just great I would not recommend this go to anyone the IRS has even told me there is nothing more that they could do because the information that they have is what CTU needs and again it's not enough I'm done with this place. I was going to stay in school to get my bachelor's and my Master's Degree as well but I can't even finish getting an associate's the hell with this place"

"I found my advisors to be very helpful. The online coursework is easy to get the hang of and with persistence you can get the hang of your course work very easily. I received full financial aid so I did not have to deal with the financial aid department often however any valid complaint I have heard did center around that.Fast tracks are amazing but BEWARE! They do NOT transfer! If you plan on going here take advantage of the fast tracks but follow through to your bachelors. Most schools will not take them because on your transcript it shows as having no grade. By far my biggest complaint. Because of this other schools will not usually take your full associates as a transfer because it wont meet the requirements to be absorbed into their bachelors program. This admittedly was quite discouraging to learn after graduating with a 4.0 gpa and highest honors distinction that my degree was not considered complete due to the fast tracks and basically testing out of courses."

"This school is s******* people out of money. I filled out over 20 papers for financial aid over the course of 8 month for a "verification" financial aid is horrible here. I was under the impression I was going to be covered after everything now they are telling me I owe 10000 to the school effective immediately or it will report to my credit. Which at this point will affect my ability to get a house. Not only did the allow me to start classes with no financial but they asked for this paperwork and then 10 days later needed something else making in a never ending cycle until the point I missed my deadline and was kick out of school because they needed my spouse's tax information which would have been included in my tax information because we filed together, it even showed our separate incomes made individually. They made this process as difficult as possible didnt take into consideration that I didnt have time to always be on the phone or sending papers which is why I took online classes and had a 3.7 gpa because I work two jobs have a 1 year old 2 step daughters a husband and at the time was taking accelerated classes. This is the worst experience of my life. Ive never had this problem and have attended two other college previously. They want you to do their job for them however I am not a financial aid advisor that was not my job to make sure this all got done and why would you let someone start classes if this was a possibility. Horrible."

"Having completed a bachelor's degree with CTU, I continued with a master's program. A bachelor's degree is just not enough these days. The course of instruction was substantial and it took hours of preparation and work to complete assignments. While the course did take a number of hours of my time every week, I also learned a lot and its paid off for me. The degree has been extremely valuable for me, as it has increased my compensation and career advancement opportunities."

"This college does not care about its students or alumni. It's all about money to them. They will not release my transcripts. They talk to you very condescending and inappropriate. Cost of tuition is too high. I would not recommend this college to anyone. It is just not worth it."

"You are basically teaching yourself since you are not in a true classroom setting which means you must be diligent in your studies. I graduated with a Bachelors in Business Admin. and the career services were a joke! They speak to you on the phone but do not help you in anyway. I am now over $60,000 in debt and my pay has not increased significantly enough to even pay back my loans."

"DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL!! I know have student loans for a 90,000 dollar nothing! This review wouldn't post until I wrote a grad date...so that is not real. A few years ago I was enrolled in their Masters program for Business Administration. I was almost complete with my studies...I had two more assignments to turn in and I was done! Two!! Two reports! Unfortunately. at the time my state of WA was going through a bad winter storm...On the day I completed my assignments I was about to turn it in when BAM! A strong wind blew and knocked a tree almost on my home. The good thing was it missed my home - Bad side was it knocked out our power lines and everything. We had no power or internet for weeks till it was fixed. I grabbed my cell and called the school to see if something can be done. They said if I did not turn in the last two assignments by that night that they would give me an F for both assignments - dropping my GPA to 3.0 and thus I would not meet the 3.4 they require for graduation!!!! I would have to retake the entire program!! I was shocked! I pleaded with them on the phone for a make up or something - It was not my fault mother nature decided to knock down a tree!! But they were not flexible...My financial aid loans were done..racked up so high I was not even thinking of returning....Warning for everyone! They will rob yu blind and leave you paying for a student loan for NOTHING!!!"
