"I graduated with two degrees from this college. I have not experienced the issues that others on here have. I did have a issue with a couple instructors but they were handled. I now am a Human Resource Manager and use both degrees that I got. The most important part is I did not use loans."

"This school is very fast paced. With each class 5.5 weeks long, a lot of information is compacted into the timeframe. One must be ready to work hard to succeed. The instructors are from the fields being taught. They are more than academics in the traditional school setting; they have actually walked the talk. The more successful student will attend the live chats rather than the archived chats. This is where most of the interaction is. Time spent in class with the instructor should be a priority. The chat archives are great for review but should not be the only way of getting instruction. For the working adult and other, non-traditional students who are highly motivated a self-starters, I heartily recommend CTU. This is not a party school and the student will achieve in direct proportion to the effort expended!"

"THIS SCHOOL IS NOT A JOKE! Not all colleges are going to have 100% satisfaction rate... You cannot please everyone and all students will have a different set of circumstances that will affect the way they feel about a college. I have to say this, I have had an excellent experience with this school and I know that not everyone has but not everyone tells the truth either. Some problems people have from the school are their own problems and blame the school for it. Do not sit here and call the school a joke just because you couldn't succeed in it. I got my Associates, Bachelors, and now I am working on my Master degree with CTU and have gained so much because of it. I am not say this school is perfect by far but when someone says this school is a joke they are saying my hard work and degrees are a joke. Well, where are your degrees???? I started CTU in 2009 for an Associate degree, due to difficult circumstances in my personal life I had to take some time off for a while. Once I was ready I began my classes back up almost a year later. I had a wonderful experience when I went back. I started exactly right where I left off as if I never stopped. I have had only one problem with the school regarding FA out of 5 years and they took care of it. The school is affordable and most of the instructors are awesome. I hate it when people try to scare others out of attending the college. How dare you try and stop someone from getting their degree from an accredited college just because of your likings or experience, you’re a joke! Sure it is fine to discuss your experience whether good or bad but don't sit there and say stay away. Your experience is your own and no one REALLY knows why you’re dissatisfied. One example, a student was very bitter towards the school because she had to wait 2 weeks for her FA money (School policies) so she bad mouth the school, the advisers and instructors. Really?? Don't blame the school for a waiting period for you FA just because you have difficulties paying your bills. This is ridiculous to me. Your problem does not make the education any less value because you’re broke!!! I have never experienced a bad time when it came to my FA funds being disbursed. There may be short waiting periods but my classes were always paid for and my money was always sent to me. The school isn't perfect but I received a great educational experience and learned so much. I have had great compliments from employers about the school and that is all that matters. All I am saying is do your research and understand that you have to find a school that will fit your needs and goals. If CTU isn’t for you that’s ok, that is why there are thousands to choose from and every school will have dissatisfied students!"

"This school is awesome. I have tried a couple of others and actually received my AA from another school. I transferred here because I did not like the way the other school did their BS degree program. I have had so much positive help throughout the program. They have a system called the M.U.S.E. and if you do not understand what they instructor is teaching, you go to this system and it's a hands on type of system. I have learned so much from this type of system. I have actually even been behind with a D, and ended up pulling a A out of the entire class because this system had helped me that much. I highly recommend the school and the instructors. I have had phenomenal instructors except for 1 but the good thing is, the classes are only 5.5 weeks so if you get a bad instructor by the time you realize they are not what you like, there's only a week or 2 left in the class."

"I'm currently attending the online portion of Colorado Technical University. I started with my associated degree in August. I have to say that the financial aid department is lacking knowledge on that department. I'm waiting for my disburement and yet yo receive it.I don't see that wait time before the student even receives it. Its takes almost another whole month before you get it when they have you on a scheduled disburesment date. They need to get better with it."
