"I am not reviewing the program as much as I am reviewing the financial aid office. The program was informative & I believe it truly helped my career. The financial aid office is another story. They will tell you one amount, break it down into payments over the course of your education (whether you take out loans or make personal payments) and then add on extra money at the end. They tell you nicely that you can make $50 dollar payments if needed over however many years. That is not the point! False advertisement when expressing the price of the programs. Very unprofessional."

"I am currently completing my last session with CTU and here is my take. Comparison to "brick and mortar": I have attended reputable brick and mortar schools in CA, MI, and NM, and the caliber of the faculty at CTU is as good, if not better, than any of my previous university experience. Actually, I was impressed with the knowledge level and the academic credibility of my instructors. I also found that they were more focused on teaching and less on their personal research agendas which I've found is the case with most brick and mortar...and, I was not subjected to courses taught by TAs who I could not understand. Assignments are graded within specific timeframes and most often with appropriate feedback. Inferior education? There is nothing easy about attending this school. You will not be spoon-feed or coddled, it is real college. For those who have not attended school in several years or who do not have basic computer skills, on-line learning may be a shock. As with any higher learning, you need to do the work and you are graded accordingly. RUSHED? For those who want to expedite the process of getting their degree the 5 1/2 week sessions are perfect, however, if you do not have the time or discipline to do an accelerated program, then this is not for you. Yes, there are issues if you try to copy and paste to the discussion board, but I have found that it is an issue with other on-line schools as well. As far as the financial aid dept, they were as helpful as I expected. The student advisor are extremely helpful. So, I can highly recommend CTU. If they had a Masters program in my field, I would consider them again."
