"Columbia college allowed me as a military to continue my education online even while I was deployed. I was able to finish my degree while continuing my work as a NCO and my professors knowing full well of deployment and training exercises were eager to help me when I had to miss class. They allowed me to bring in my college work and graded me fairly. I would strongly recommend this college to any Soldier or civilian. Top grade teaching and it definitely help me with my career in the military."

"This school used to be great, but over the last few years they have become one of the worst. I used to think the University of Phoenix was bad, but Columbia College has proven to be an even bigger disappointment. They're very poorly organized and many of the instructors have no business teaching. If you want a quality education and a competent school, stay away from Columbia College. They only want your money, they couldn't care less about their students."

"I picked this college when online MBA degrees were hard to find from non-profit colleges. Having an MBA from Columbia College double my earnings right after graduation. This is a great school, with great faculty and staff. But, like most online learning, it's really up to you, to determine how much you get out of your experience."

"Some of these online classes are a sham, especially Working with Families by J.C. The system for online discussions rigged and will automatically deduct points from the rest of the class if everyone doesn't post or post late and you don't respond. Its a scam and when you ask the instructor, he will give you the runaround by "double talking." Then when you go to the supervisors they just deny and cover up. If you try to get records, they will not provide them to you. Bad accountability and very corrupt. You are really not learning anything as they are just out to get money, especially from military members. I wish I had never enrolled in this college. Do not take this class!"

"I appreciate my B.A. Degree I received from Columbia College. Yes, the courses were accelerated, and these types of classes are not meant for everyone. My courses were online, and in seat and I was able to grasps the concepts. I have nothing bad to say about Columbia College, and I would recommend the school to anyone. I was able to utilize my BA degree from Columbia to transfer to a top 10 university in my field of study to earn a Masters Degree."

for working adults maybe not - 10/24/2016

"The 8-week courses move so quickly you do not retain the information to get faster you must take two classes which is very difficult if you are a working adult when both classes you have research papers that must be 8 to 10 pages long You cannot have a family because you will be studying 7 days a week with these classes being at a 8 week course comma I would like to see it set at a three-month class and set instead of 8 weeks"

"The Communications and Organizational Leadership "department" is filled with a nasty attitude that needs to be dealt with. Several students in my cohort have been forced to go to other institutions to take classes because these "leaders" cannot give a straight answer to a simple question. Also, we had to FIGHT just to be advised which is sad. When we were advised, a complete stranger or "bodyguard " was there and recorded everything on his phone which was PATHETIC. I am completely disgusted with these two individuals. Also, how can Columbia College charge their fees when a student is forced to take a class at another University."

"I attended Columbia College for my Masters in Business Administration. I found the classes informative and have been able to use the information learned in the classroom in my current job. This degree helped me qualify for a promotion which also came with a salary increase. I would recommend anyone looking for an MBA to include Columbia College in their search."

"These guys are the best. When I made the commitment to continue my education in 2009, at age 38, I knew it would be a long road. Despite many deployments and a heavy operational tempo that comes with my job in the military, they worked with me ensure my successful completion of my AGS in 2012 and BA by 2014. This school is not just another for profit "degree in a box" foundation. It is a legitimate state college with a long-standing reputation and history. The tuition is within a price range that makes it completely covered by military Tuition Assistance(AA and BA levels). Their program set me up for success, as I am now in a graduate program at a prestigious university with a 3.9 GPA. Thank you Columbia, for helping to make my goals a reality."
