"My time at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York was one of the most rewarding years of my life. Cornell has a ton to offer; From Collegetown, Academics, Greek Life, Sports, it truly has it all. Anyone thinking of attending this school must visit during the winter because it gets cold!!!"

"Although I have only finished three out of four years at Cornell, I can confidently say that it is one of the best institutions in the United States. It is notoriously a difficult school and has been known for a high suicide rate, but when you meet the students, you do not see that what-so-ever. The students are intelligent, friendly, and driven. In terms of my major, choosing Biology was the best decision I could have made. Between the kind faculty and the stunning facilities, nowhere is better than Cornell."

"Cornell University was my home for 4 wonderful years. There are countless things about the school which made it the ideal university for me. The classes were rigorous, the people were kind, the scenery was outstandingly beautiful. One of my favorite things about Cornell is that every day I walked to class, I had the privilege of walking over a gorge! A large part of my Cornell experience was my club ultimate frisbee team. Though Cornell doesn't provide maximum support to its club sports programs, our team was always able to find a place to practice and we traveled to tournaments around the East Coast. One drawback of Cornell is the large size. Regardless of how much you try to get to know professors, it is sometimes a pointless task. Most classes have hundreds of students and many professors don't make an effort to get to know their students. I found that the best way to gain a rapport with a professor was to be their TA or work in their lab. Cornell offers incredible opportunities, academically and otherwise. If I had the chance to do-over my undergraduate career, I would go to Cornell again in a heartbeat."

"Very very very hard and stressful, not a very sympathetic administration but you will learn and you will be smarter because of Cornell. You will have very good job prospects upon graduation. Requires a lot of hard work."

"Cornell University is an amazing place. The opportunities I was afforded were endless. During my four years at Cornell University, I transformed into a leader, problem solver, and global citizen. I co-founded FootPrints, an organization whose mission is to provide shoes and school supplies to children in need. Cornell funded the organization and because such opportunities, we were able to travel and help those in need internationally. In my opinion, the networking opportunities at Cornell is one of a kind. The people I have met are always willing to help and so friendly. As a current medical student, Cornell prepared me for success. Medical school is challenging, however, with the training I received at Cornell, I am able to handle the rigor. I would encourage anyone to apply and attend Cornell University. This school and my experience changed my life."

"College is a big change that can be either great or awful. Make sure you push yourself outside your normal boundaries to make the best of it. Take classes you never thought you'd like, give people you usually wouldn't a chance, and join a club that you would never have in high school. Doing these things will make college the most fun and memorable. Stick it all out, because it's worth it."

"Great for those who want to experience a non urban college campus setting. May not be as prestigious as other ivy leagues but still great name on resume and offers same opportunities as other schools"

"Unlike some other Ivy-league schools getting in to Cornell is not the hard part. You will get a fantastic education but you will work your A$$ off for it."

"Cornell University provides a great education in a variety of disciplines. The University has both endowed and state colleges- the latter allowing a Cornell education at reduced tuition for residents of New York State. Introductory classes are often large, which can make it a bit more difficult to form close relationships with your professors or many of your classmates. However, Cornell offers additional support resources, and as you proceed to higher level classes, there is often more personal interaction. You have to be proactive in taking advantage of what the school has to offer and in distinguishing yourself as one from many, but that's a good lesson for life after college."
