"Do not enroll in this program. I made the mistake of enrolling for the fall semester 2017. The program implies that the certificate program should take one year to complete. Classes in the first semester were Office Medical Administration and Medical Terminology. When I went to register for the Spring 2018 semester, which should include three classes, Medical Insurance and Billing, Procedure Coding, and Diagnostic Coding classes, none of these classes were offered for spring 2018. This program is not set up to be completed in one year, this school will not tell you that when you register and I could understand if not all three classes were offered, but none were offered. I called the school and left over 20 messages for various members of the faculty and never received a phone call back, very unprofessional. This program is a complete waste of time, unless you want to complete a certificate program in several years. Save your money and go with a more reputable college or technical college. Make sure to ask about the time frame of classes."

"I generally like the staff and programs offered at craven community college. The staff were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The downside would be that their availability is sometimes limited. Phone calls would often never be returned, and wait times in person were lengthy. They are efficient and seem to have endless patience, I think its simply a lot of students attending. In my experience the teachers actually teach, and seem very passionate about their courses. I took mainly online classes and the teachers still managed to be very involved and very...well, educational. I enjoyed my experience at Craven Community College overall."
